AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

I just tried that FexEx number. The rep said he has no package listing for my address :( I ordered in retail 10:30am on the 7th. Such ********.
 
I just hit refresh, cause, you know, I'm micromanaging watching the journey to delivery tomorrow, and status just changed from end of day to "by 10:30 a.m."

I'll say, that's welcome news.
 
I didn't order ours (2 blk 32gb) until sunday around noon at the apple store. My card has not been charged. Delivery should be from the 21st to the 31st. But, AT&T already charged me a $36 upgrade fee. They said it is to process the new phones. I told her at worst they should charge that fee when we connect the new phones, which should be in Nov. but there should be no 'upgrade' fee at all. I have not been under contract for the past 4.5 yrs. with AT&T. I didnt have to threaten to switch to sprint, she took the $36 off my bill.

This is not so comforting and I know you all want your toys but from following a few releases now.... Unless your card was rejected/order cancelled and they said it would be delivered on friday then its going to be there... The last launch I had no info till the day before and another that just showed up at my door but no status update since it was in Alaska...

You may also want to give UPS a try, if they are able to do the same method. There is a chance yours is shipping with them (and I hope it is).

Another Baltimorian! I'm in the same boat also. I'm now thinking too much off it. I'm expecting more stuff to be updated by tomorrow morning. I wonder how early will there get here as I have a doctors appointment and would hate to miss mine. The truck starts going out at 9 so we should have it by Noon I suppose.

Thanks for the tip. I tried FedEx for both addresses I found on AT&T for me, and they didn't have either. I also tried UPS, but they said they MUST have a tracking number. Can't look it up just by address, so unless you actually have a tracking number, save yourself some time on hold and don't call.
 
I am one of the many that ordered over the phone, TC wasn't completed until Monday. I got my tracking # 30 minutes ago. I hope all those waiting get/got theirs. Good luck all!

It would be great to be talking to Siri by noon!!! usually my deliveries are around 1pm .... Good luck!!! I hope your phone shows up in time for you :D

You can go to UPS.com and track by reference under the tracking tab, and use your cell phone number to see if a package is on its way. It worked for me.

This is a way to check, for all those who don't have a tracking number yet but who did order before the cutoff time (and maybe even those who didn't). It took literally a minute to do.

Thank god. ATT's systems suck but the actuall physical logistics were pulled off and it's going to be on that beautiful FedEx truck before the dew is completely dry on the ground.

Try this, those desperate ones without information: call FedEx at 1.800.463.3339 and ask the automated system for "Operator" and have them do a general search for your delivery address. The operator was able to find my shipment and tell me when it was scheduled for deliver.

Back story on my order: ordered at 9AM EST over the phone on the 7th. Had to do it over the phone as I ordered an unsubsidized option, which wasn't available online (otherwise I would've gladly ordered through Apple). Got my confirmation email a nice 9 hours later at 6:17PM and nothing since. Only info I was ever able to get was through CSRs on the phone, no automated systems showed my order as even existing. Oh, by the way, I ordered a black iPhone, but it is showing as a white one... no big harm done because I think they both look nice, but I might miss the understated look of the black even though the white is beautiful.

I called FedEx and they were actually able to find a package that was supposed to be shipped to my name and address. However, he said the package was never actually shipped by the company and that I'll need to contact them for more info. I'll be trying UPS next and will post with results.

I live in seattle and package just reached louiseville, KY .. Dont knw if they would make it 2morrow

Just checked UPS on my Mom's Iphone and it has arrived in my city of Baltimore........but the delivery is still End of The Day. I have a pre-signed slip to put on the door.

I just hope my Fed-Ex package doesnt come while I'm at the Doctors :(
 
So all week AT&T's site has just said backordered, Pending Shipping. Using the UPS Mail innovations, I've been checking all day-as of 11:15 CDT, it says that there is one item, although it doesn't have updated information. Hope springs eternal!
