I've had no change since Saturday.
- Ordered ONLINE 10/7 1:00 pm CT (well within the cutoff)
- iP4S BLK 32
- Received initial confirmation email with "delivery on 10/14"
- No further emails since
- CC shows pending charge since 10/8
- MyATT Status: In Progress / 1 backordered / Date ordered: 10/8
- ATT Premier Status: Pre-Order / Date ordered: 10/7 / Updated: 10/8

I'm starting to wonder if it's PREMIER that hosed things up, showing an update the next day, meaning the order wasn't actually placed until it was transferred to PREMIER on Saturday, even though all order info says I ordered on 10/7. Thus, iPhones were not reserved for Premier orders and by the time they processed on 10/8, none were left.

Has anyone with PREMIER that ordered ONLINE noon/afternoon (or anytime on Friday) received shipping notification?

I'm also confused by some that posted about TOS agreement email, were those for new customers?

Your situation sounds almost exactly like mine (except I ordered about 6 hrs. earlier). I also wonder if Premier is the problem. Re: TOS agreement, I can't speak from experience, but from reading here, it seemed like it was only people who ordered in store or via phone that needed to return that email.

if you ordered in store, you should have signed the agreement there. i did.
 
Posting my two cents so I don't go crazy... ordered from AT&T in Sarasota, FL, around 11:45 am EST on October 7th... and absolutely no change on my order status since then. Status is In Progress, Pending Shipment, Quantity Ordered: 1, Quantity Backordered: 1.

Oh, and no credit card charges (which I've been told is a tried and true indicator that an iPhone is on the way). Shoot me. I'm never doing a pre-order again.

I ordered with att.com at about 2pm friday, give or take an hour. I have tracking and everthing and mine is in Louisville Via UPS. And i am a Premier customer as well. So for some reaon your oder is messed up. My status's had been mixed up and finally straightened out.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the understanding that the only people who had to accept T & C were those who ordered on the phone. I ordered in store and never received such an email. Just called ATT a few minutes ago, and they said my order is ready to go, and as soon as a phone is available mine will be shipped out, probably 21-28 days. I'm hoping that's not the truth. I made the first batch of orders on Friday, but who knows now.

Edit: oh, and at least when I was a BlackBerry fanatic I never had to be concerned whether or not the newest phone would be available on launch day. haha!

Thanks for clarifying the TOS thing and sorry to hear you're in the same boat as me, especially since you ordered way earlier. Had I known the delay, I would have opted to try my luck at a store.

By the way I ordered by phone on the 7th at 7.45 PM central time. "new customer had tmobile iphone 3gs unlocked for 3+yrs now." didn't get T of S email till this MONDAY 6;45 pm. didnt accept it till 11:00 bc i was working. Got tracking number today at 6:00 pm.

Now since i work at the Fedex Station that my iphone 4s is coming to i get to pick it at at 7:30 AM!!!!

Which model did you order? Also wondering if what I ordered was already sold-out and that is why.
 
I wonder if our order times have anything to do with the capacities of the phones versus the stock available for each? Maybe a white 64 GB iPhone 4S is hard to come by... oh who am i kidding

As per FedEX: Weight: 2.0 lbs/.9 kg

After some investigating i figured out what the problem was. I received an email confirmation yesterday afternoon saying that my ordered shipped and that was the fedex order that was showing one pound. I just looked up my order status on AT&T's website and they have two different tracking numbers. The white 16 gig is the fedex one and the black 32gig is shipping through UPS but I never received an email confirmation with tracking number for the it so I just thought they were both going through fedex.

Anyone have any idea why they would split my order in two and use two different providers and not even send me a shipping confirmation email for one of them?!?!? (not that it really matters anyway since im just happy its not screwed up and I will be getting both of them tomorrow :D)
 
Ugh! My husband's phone is on it's way to our local facility, but mine is still hung up one stop prior. WTH? ::(

FINALLY got answers about my order... from FedEx, not ATT. ATT shows no existence of my order unless I call them and then I just get "in progress." BUT, I called FedEx directly and got a nice guy named Charlie who did a general search for my address: package on its way scheduled for delivery before 10:30AM tomorrow. YES!!

This is a way to check, for all those who don't have a tracking number yet but who did order before the cutoff time (and maybe even those who didn't). It took literally a minute to do.

Thank god. ATT's systems suck but the actuall physical logistics were pulled off and it's going to be on that beautiful FedEx truck before the dew is completely dry on the ground.

Try this, those desperate ones without information: call FedEx at 1.800.463.3339 and ask the automated system for "Operator" and have them do a general search for your delivery address. The operator was able to find my shipment and tell me when it was scheduled for deliver.

Had to do it over the phone as I ordered an unsubsidized option, which wasn't available online (otherwise I would've gladly ordered through Apple). Got my confirmation email a nice 9 hours later at 6:17PM and nothing since. Only info I was ever able to get was through CSRs on the phone, no automated systems showed my order as even existing. Oh, by the way, I ordered a black iPhone, but it is showing as a white one... no big harm done because I think they both look nice, but I might miss the understated look of the black even though the white is beautiful.

still backordered. no emails after confirmation on 10/7 at 12:30pm. no tracking number.

tried AT&T phone and in store where I ordered, no one can tell me anything definitive.

Yes I ordered through online Premier - on SATURDAY night the 8th. Mine stayed in backorder status until late last night. Got a tracking # and it went from Dallas to Louisville to Atlanta today. Scheduled for delivery by EOD tomorrow. I may have gotten lucky? I really wasn't expecting a 10/14 delivery.

And no I wasn't emailed an TOS. I'm a current customer though.

Anyone else get a phone call from Best Buy saying that they don't have the iPhones in stock yet ready for tomorrow's launch??? I just got a call here in California saying that they don't have any of the white or black iPhone 4s 64GB and that I will get a call from them tomorrow or Saturday if they get them in stock. I ordered both black and white in 64GB for ATT so I'm kind of bummed out

You ordered SATURDAY NIGHT and getting it? I would go buy some lotto tickets because you're fricken lucky. :eek:
