AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

But, why wouldn't it deliver my package? Is it a different truck? I'm confused.
Did anyone who ordered from AT&T at that time get their order shipped?
I'm pretty sure all of us getting our iPhones today ordered at the start of preorders, 3-4AM EST, not 7 hours after they began. You probably missed the 200,000 cutoff.
Has anyone that placed a direct fulfillment order received tracking information?
they are In-Store orders that start with "XE" order number associated to them.

Ordered on-line through AT&T Premier 5:00am CST on the 7th. Received from UPS at 9:24am. Located in Chicago.

Ordered mine from the Priemer site at 9am and got confirmation at 940am. Still shows processing. My order number started with 101*********, I am so pissed. I do feel like a little kid getting this worked up over a freaking phone, but when you do what you are told to do by AT&T; order early and you will have the the phone on the 14th, thats what you come to expect. My email says "delivered by the 14th" but still shows as processing. Maybe it will still come today and the site is just so back logged, positive thinking or just silly thinking?
Out for delivery since about 7am, ordered 330pm 10/7.. Im glad its coming, but I really do wonder about att's shipping logic.. They should save their CSRs some work and make a statement, explain some of the basic questions.. I think we would all appreciate unified information instead of 5 different places to get 5 different answers. I hope everybody's issues get worked out quickly.
Not the case, I guy I work with ordered his from AT&T website at about 12:30 PM CST, one hour after I ordered mine. Again, I ordered mine from an AT&T store. His is out for delivery.
So my iPhone isn't supposed to ship for like another 17 days. I called AT&T and told them I might cancel try to go to Best Buy or another store to get one. She said that my upgrade status may not renew for up to three days. So, do I call back and cancel then try Best Buy or should I wait? I'm not sure what to do here! Best Buy hasn't opened just yet so I can't call them to find out.
You're not guaranteed to get one at BB so personally I would just wait it out. I'm in the 21-28 day boat and I'm going to wait. It may not even take that long.
Yoiu will have to buy at full price if you already have one on order. Might be simpler to wait.
Why can't they just cancel my preorder? They haven't charged my card.

i havent read your other posts, but if youve accepted terms and conditions and the order has processed, then you cannot cancel. i know its dumb, but its ATT policy.

hey guys, i ordered around 8pm CST at a local ATT store and my updates still say backordered. But as soon as I swiped my card, I looked at a email and got an order confirmation about 20 minutes later. Is there anyway I can get my phone today?

Did you sign/agree to the T&C. If so, that's why.... You're locked in. At least that's what I've been told by AT&T.
Yay! Mine was on the same flight from DFW to MCO, except mine said goodbye to yours as it left for JAX. Once I get that puppy, I'm driving down to MCO for my birthday week.

AT&T sucks. I was told I'd have the phone today, it still has''nt shipped and when Iam told they are transferring me to someone to find out why they keep putting me back to an automated menu. Bottom line no phone and no idea when I'll get it, and a shipment box from Gazelle waiting to have my old one shipped back.
edit.. she laughed the support agent and told me it would be three weeks till I get the phone. I'm done with AT&T I'm gonna go to Sprint or Verizon.
