Hmm, do I have a different AT&T Premier site? Or has mine just not changed to reflect shipping yet? I placed my order at 7-ish am on Friday.

You're welcome. Honestly, I was quite shocked by the answer I got. That was the first time I've heard someone from AT&T give a specific delivery date (not a ship date).

It's not your fault. A separate thread needs to be made for apple orders.

To be truthfully honest, nobody cares where YOUR apple-ordered phone is. Majority are here to find out about OUR att-ordered phones.
 
I called but I have 4 different order numbers:

premier order #
ATT order #

x 2 phones

They could not find my ATT order number, but I entered the premier # and they told me to please wait for a CSR. My order is listed as in progress/pending shipment and that it was placed on 10/7

After being on hold for an hour on the Premier line and running out of time on my lunch break I decided to try this one instead on my afternoon break.

I was told in no uncertain terms that since my order was a premier order they would have to transfer me to the Premier department. Getting frustrated... Meanwhile the phone we ordered through Apple is already in my hometown. Never ordering through ATT again even if it means I end up having to wait...
 
Reading through this thread made me realize how much of a mistake I made in pre-ordering thru AT&T. Never again will I order from them.
They all will arrive on the 14th, whether you ordered from Apple or AT&T.

Just like last time, don't worry about the status updates ... just gets you worked up for nothing.:cool:

Any phones that are pre-staged to your area will be held for the 14th, the rest will be "overnighted" for the 14th.

I ordered 2 black 64Gs from AT&T at around 1 a.m. PST on 10/7. My AT&T order status looks like everyone elses, but where I used to have a credit card hold for the full amount, I don't anymore. No charge and no pending charges. Anyone have a payment hold disappear?

I don't get your meaning. I DON'T know that. I don't know ANYTHING. I'm not looking for a shipping number or even confirmation that it has shipped. My problem is that my status on the business page just says "pending" and doesn't show the progression that others have shown in their screenshots. And if I try to use the other methods of checking status, all I get is errors. And trying to call AT&T has proven fruitless so far.

I mentioned where my Apple order is only to illustrate how utterly transparent the process has been by comparison.

People are forgetting that the phone is scheduled for release on the 14th. You're not entitled to early delivery.
 
Not sure that it's really AT&T. I have orders with both Apple and AT&T for 32GB Blk and neither has tracking #s. Both have been in the preparing for shipment stage since the weekend.

I found my dad's UPS tracking number by using his phone number as a reference. It says Origin Scan - China.

I has my pending charge disappear too. I think it's normal.

^This. Last year, my order status still said processing when I had the phone in my hands. And I got it a day early, like many other forum users. The order status updates are notoriously inaccurate. If you ordered early on the first day, you will most likely get your phone on the 14th.
 
I read a few comments on here about people seeing a different shipping address listed on their pre-orders. My email confirmation states an old address but when I placed the order, I was sure to use the correct shipping address that matches my credit card billing and my account info on AT&T is the current address that matches my order. I'm not sure why an old address shows up on the confirmation emails. I was told by premier that they have the correct address to ship to and it's a system glitch but the address on that email still worries me. Is anyone having that same issue?

I was thinking of calling UPS or Fed Ex once I get a tracking number to confirm the address but who knows when I'll get any sort of tracking numbers.
