AT&T order delayed 4 days

I placed my order with AT&T on 10/7 7:45 am PST. I finally got the T&C email yesterday afternoon, and my order status just showed up on the AT&T website. It now says my order was placed TODAY (10/11), not last week. I'm pretty pissed off, especially because the AT&T agent on the phone promised me that my iPhone would arrive on 10/14, and my credit card was even charged on 10/7.

Was this order placed through Premier? If so, what is the order date on the Premier status page?

I ordered my iPhone on Friday at approximately 4:30 PM PST, and it's a Black 64GB. None of my online tracking statuses have changed since I posted screenshots across all 3 sites and the original email yesterday.

The FedEx tracking number does not yet appear on the FedEx website for tracking but I'll mention as soon as it does.

The chat feature is on the right hand side once you log in and view your status. I just got off chat and she shows no tracking info but can assure me that my phone will be here Friday.

It's in the right hand column, same as Charlie. Look at the very bottom of the content.

It's not there. Only Charlie.

i know that sucks, my aunt order the phone on her line for my cousin and she didn't check her email the next day it didn't go through sunday. we order it friday at 10am est

Is the T&C email just for new customers? I ordered at 5am on 10/7 and I still have'nt got the T&C email. There's a pending charge on my credit card and my order status says "Processing". Any thoughts?
 
I think MacRumors has the power to bring down that order status page with everyone looking for the chat feature ;)

I'm too lazy to look through this thread, so forgive me if this was discussed, but I just talked to AT&T and the lady who helped me said I would receive an e-mail that states my device is ready to ship, approximately up to 72 hours from my order date. At that point, I have 72 hours to respond or they will cancel my order. Once I've responded, they will ship the device.

WTF? Anyone else hear this? This sounds like bureaucratic crap to me. At this point, I hope they cancel it. I'll just wait til the hoopla dies down and just get it from the Apple Store directly, my i4 is fine.

I shoulda went and ordered from Apple.

I was wondering the same thing. I've received 2 emails about my order has been processed and ready for shipment, but no T&C. I am a previous customer too.
 
When I spoke with a Premier rep yesterday they said that if you ordered on Friday before the cut off (and received the email indicating the Oct 14 delivery) then the phone should arrive on that date. I had specifically asked because I was one of those that had the attention flag on it and so the process date was different from the preorder date. I also had a colleague who called in this morning with the same problem and was told the same thing and that tracking notifications should start going out tomorrow.

Personally I am not going to hold my breath until I see that tracking info first hand but I am encouraged that at least the info they were giving out seemed to correspond with each other on two different accounts with probably two different reps.

I am not sure, but I would assume if your eligibility date has been moved to Oct. 2013, then you accepted T&C at some point during your purchase.
 
I don't mean to be a dick, but I'm pretty sure that conversation didn't happen. In other words, it appears no one has a tracking number yet in this group.

I'm still thinking sometime tomorrow afternoon is when the first shipping will start for ATT. Of course, I will still be glued to this thread as I am literally obsessed on getting this new phone. Ugh.
 
Chatted with an AT&T rep regarding pre-orders to get another data point. He gave me some useful info (well, sort of) after initially being unable to even locate my order, even though I had just confirmed my unchanged status less than 30 seconds before.

I ordered white 4S 16GB at around 9:00 am CST on 10/7 direct through the ATT website.

I just chatted with the same person.
He gave me the same answer "You will receive your phone on the 14th".

I placed my order around 4 AM Central on the 7th, via Premier. Got the confirmation email at 4:22 AM.
Daily checks on Premier site said "Pre-ordered" with a last update of 10/8.
This afternoon, it said last update was 10/11.
The charge appears to have hit my credit card this afternoon as well.
While I was chatting with the rep, I tried that 866 number to check status, but was sent to a rep who also told me my order would go out on the 14th.
My order now appears on the standard AT&T site as well (had to search by home phone # to find it).
It shows an order date of 10/11, and a status of "Backordered".
The item status for phone, sim and freight all appear as "Processing".

32 GB Black, BTW.

The Terms and conditions email only applies to people who pre-ordered their phones by calling ATT. If you placed your order online you already agreed to terms and conditions while you were placing the order. The email is to protect ATT from people who might sue claiming they didn't know what they were getting into. Most people who pre-ordered online probably don't even remember agreeing to the terms and conditions because you were in a hurry to get the order through and it was also around 2-3A.M. lol.

Right no one who order directly from ATT has shown us proof of a tracking number.
 
Thank you. I think I did have a T&C thing I had to submit on now that I think about it. I was just so tired at 3am I probably forgot lol.

Your welcome. Yeah the T&C was basically a checkbox at the bottom of the screen that you have to check prior to clicking submit order I believe.

I've provided all my other order details up until this point. What more proof do you want than a screen cap of the chat? I'll provide it if I can.
