When did you order - so this first come first serve stuff is some BS

For those of you dogging UPS. In my area UPS is actually really on their game. 9 times out of 10 i get packages from UPS and they are always on time. Though I tend to get them at the end of the day. It just so happens that I am getting FEDEX for my iPhone delivery and I don't mind either way. Though the FEDEX hub is in Memphis which is about 45 mins away from my house so that should help make sure I get the phone on time.

Personally I think that anyone who put an otterbox case on a iphone should have their phone taken away from them forever.

I am only have joking. I can't stand that sight of a huge ugly case hiding what is IMO the best looking smart phone around.

I sort of agree with you, but do they protect your investment, especially for the clumsy among us.

Why? I presume that it arrived at the AT&T warehouse on Sunday, where the label was printed, hence a "ship" date of 10/9. Carriers obviously don't ship on Sunday but that doesn't mean the warehouse was closed.

Also, by the way, don't be rude.

I believe the package shipped on Sunday because the phone is not coming from the united states. Keep in mind the phone is being made in a Chinese sweat shop. Sunday means nothing and in other parts of the world Sunday is not an off day and logistic companies move packages.

So looks like I will get the iPhone 4s a day early just like last year.

I'm not sure even that ship date there is accurate truthfully. Mine said a ship date of 10/11 earlier this morning but recently it changed to say 10/12.

LUCKY! how did I get the short end of the stick waking up at 3am and this is what I get!!!

I woke up at a 3am also. But the systems crashed. So I made two order for two different numbers finally at 5am eastern time.

The 16gb 4s shipped this morning. I am sure I will get it tomorrow (same thing happened last year).

But my 32gb 4S order shows (pending shipping) so will arrive on Friday.

It's 8:11AM CDT now. I last looked at my status around 1AM, 7 hours ago. Somewhere in the middle of that, the status on AT&T's shipping status page:

has been changed to SHIPPED!!

I ordered a Black 16Gb 4S on Friday the 7th, somewhere during the hour of 10-11AM CDT (I forget the precise time). Ordered from AT&T directly.

I'm rather happy it's shipped via Fedex, which means I'll get it at about 10:30AM in the morning, as opposed to 4PM or so with UPS.

The actual tracking info doesn't show anything in Fedex's system, but that's no concern, it'll take the day to get into their system, as I'm sure it's sitting around on a shipper's dock somewhere waiting to go to the Fedex office today, and not actually "shipped" shipped.

Edit: Addtl.. I have not received an email saying it's shipped, which I assume will be the final step when it's truly "shipped", as opposed to this "It's in the system and has a tracking number version of shipped".

My premier order hasn't shipped either. I ordered 415am white 32 and the only thing that is changed on mine is that it went from "Backordered" to "Processing". However a minute after I ordered I got an email that read that my order was recieved and that I will get the phone on the 14th.

Hey guys,

So this morning I checked my email to see if I got a shipping email................I didnt but I went on ATT and it says that my order has shipped and it shipped on 10/9 which was Sunday. I clicked on the tracking number and nothing popped up so maybe they are still updating it within Fedex's system. I tried attaching a picture but the dumb thing wasnt working or maybe I was being dumb *shrugs*

Not sure if this has been posted but for those who can't see tracking numbers online try dialing 611 and checking your order status through the automated system. I was able to obtain my tracking number although it does not show up from my shipping providers end. This should help those who want to know what their shipping provider is going to be and get a jump start on obtaining the tracking number. Hope this helps!

EDIT: the automated system also confirmed my order, lol for those with that issue

Mine updated to shipping yesterday, but I ordered from Apple.com. My sister on the other hand ordered from AT&T Premier at 8am central and still shows backordering and processing in AT&T order status. If she goes to AT&T business (premier) to check it then it just shows preorder checked. See screen shots provided by Maryah (sister).

I ordered 10am on 10/7 and got that same confirmation email minutes later (through premier), as of now my status still says processing and hasn't updated since 10/9

I used my gf card and her billing address is different from my shipping address...am I gonna be screwed?

The phones for her that's why she used her card

When I log into my AT&T from my 4, it shows the new line added and new number though

sorry bro you are screwed. For security reasons, your billing address has to be the same as your shipping address. Funny thing is my gf did the same thing you did, purchase the iphone 4 on my her card and tried to ship it to my address. Your account will automatically cancel or be placed on hold. My gf accidentally order the iphone4 to my address and it reached my local fedex location but at&t called fedex to return the phone to at&t. Better for us because she wanted to cancel the order anyways, and order the iphone 4s instead. Still waiting on my own iphone 4s shipping update..

I'm in Atlanta. Both AT&T Wireless & UPS are headquartered here in Atlanta. I'm not saying that there is any connection, but my phone is coming to me via UPS.
