AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Logged in to ATT.COM to check the status and saw this. Even though I have not received a shipping e-mail yet, and the Fedex tracking number doesn't show up anything either. Hoping for a Friday delivery if not Thursday. Ordered online at att.com around 3:15 AM CT, a White 16GB.

Wooo! My new Samsung Galaxy just shipped. Ordered straight from Best Buy around 3am on the 7th and just got my tracking info. Hoping I get it Thursday!!



....on a serious note. The way it looks with the ATT iphone orders, I would imagine they are processing everything in a certain order so that they can get everything in their system. I think as long as you ordered it before a certain point, it will be shipped for delivery on the 14th. After that I don't think it really matters what time your order was placed. It looks to me like they are opening their cases of 16GB black and processing, and then opening the 16 GB white and processing, and then the 32 GB black, and so on.

At least that's the way it seems to me since nobody with a white 32, 64 or a black 64 has received shipping info (minus the apple.com orderers that keep popping in with their tracking updates getting everyone riled up).

EDIT: the automated system also confirmed my order, lol for those with that issue

I used my gf card and her billing address is different from my shipping address...am I gonna be screwed?

The phones for her that's why she used her card

When I log into my AT&T from my 4, it shows the new line added and new number though

You're not too far off from my plight. The Premier account is in my name, we used her credit card on Friday around 2:30 CDT. Sunday night I was checking the status on the Premier website and had the "Attention!" so I called them first thing Monday morning. According to them somewhere between me placing the order and their end the name on the cc got changed to me resulting in a declination. Fantastic. Fix it. In order to do that I got changed over to "Customer Care" and then they saw Uverse on my account so I got forked over to "Combined Billing". Ok, AT&T, WTF (and I don't use fbombs lightly) is going on here??? Two hours later "Customer Care" had placed an order in addition to Premier. So I'm getting 4 phones.

I call them back at 4 pm CDT and I kid you not, did not get off the phone with them until 9. My big argument was 1. You all messed this up on Friday and it looks, from my end, that I lost my place in line because of your error; and 2. Why doesn't your software communicate with each other? If I placed an order with Premier than a red flag should have gone up with Customer Care when they tried to place an order. Thusly I asked for them to cancel the erroneous order but it couldn't be done because the t&c had been agreed to...but I can refuse shipment or take it to the store and return it. Whatever.

And now, tracking numbers are flying everywhere and I suspect that AT&T has totally bs'ed me and our phones won't arrive until heaven knows when, based on the fact that even though the Premier website says Order Date: 10/7/11 the garden variety AT&T says Order Date: 10/10/11. Here's the screenshot of what it looks on the normal, plain AT&T screen.

And did I mention the only thing they offered me was their sincere apologies? (To say I get infuriated just thinking about is the understatement of the year.)

Here's my image, I finally got it to work. But yeah, it seems as though they started shipping out phones as early as Sunday or that's the case for me.

i did the 611. and it says "your order is being processed." nothing else..so i m keeping my figures cross for Friday..

Hopefully that person ordered from Premier. They even sent me another email yesterday saying that my order was on schedule to arrive as early as 10/14 and still not tracking info for my 32gb white.

For those of you dogging UPS. In my area UPS is actually really on their game. 9 times out of 10 i get packages from UPS and they are always on time. Though I tend to get them at the end of the day. It just so happens that I am getting FEDEX for my iPhone delivery and I don't mind either way. Though the FEDEX hub is in Memphis which is about 45 mins away from my house so that should help make sure I get the phone on time.

As has been said many times here, the argument about who is better...UPS or FedEx depends on location.

FedEX has absolutely blown in some cities I have lived in yet been excellent in others.
 
Still waiting for my tracking number for my 32gb iPhone 4s. I ordered within 10 min of he phone being available on the att website.

I have faith that it will be here on friday.. its just a tracking number would help ease my stress about it haha.

Your sister's screenshot is the exact same as mine is, even down to the phone choice! I really don't know what to expect, at least her and I know we aren't alone though.
 
Shipped! But how?

Funny I paid for FEDEX but order status says UPS shipped 30 min ago. Not complaining! Just curious if I get a refund for paying for overnight FEDEx

FYI. I got an email overnight that my Iphone shipped. I checked this morning on the status check website (not premier) and it is marked as shipped, shipping date=10/11/2011, and I have a Fedex tracking number. When I tracked it via Fedex its eta is tomorrow. Excited to say the least:)
 
can anyone whos ordered over the phone update their order status?

as of now, the ATT rep its still in progress and has not shipped out yet. i am hoping for a tracking number today

he said it was ordered on the 7th morning. he said the 10th date shows as well on a different screen since i guess it was "completed"

any updates are appreciated.

My tracking number doesn't work. :mad:
 
16 GB black shipped to MSP. The Premier site doesn't show that it shipped, but the regular AT&T site does.
