I got Premier confirmation emails at 2:36 pm and 2:49 pm CDT on 10/7. However, I didn't have a chance to call them and fix THEIR credit card snafu until Monday morning (beginning at 6:57 am CDT, and putting it lightly, crap hit the fan). It was my understanding that when I finally got through with them at 9 pm CDT everything was squared away and corrected.

Except for my superfluous orders that I canNOT cancel and simply have to refuse shipment on or return to an authorized retailer. So stupid.

Guys long time reader. Great info from all you guys so thanks! Anyway signed on to post my chat experience. Ordered one black and one white 16G iphone 4S at 7th Oct 7am PST.

Black showed shipped with tracking # and white is still on backorder status. Chat with rep last night and she said both will be shipped by the 14th. But today I got concerned again and chat with live agent again. This time round he was good about looking into the details and told me it is correct that my white version will not be shipped for another 21-28 days. WTF????

So I asked him if he is very sure that is the time frame and he said that;s worst case scenario. But he did say it is unlikely the white one will ship on 14th. Sooooo MAD!!!!!
 

yeah, i am still hoping it will update overnight or something and I'll get it friday, but if not i'm going to go psycho on AT&T until they let me cancel the order, then i'll just buy one in stores. There's got to be a store near me that will have a 16gb white one before 21-28 days!!

Ship Date: 10/09/2011!!!!

FedEx Tracking Number doesn't work.

So I'm fairly confident it'll be here friday (although thursday would be awesome!).

Went through this last time. So guys worrying, don't as much.

Oh and ordered the 16 gig black.

I placed my order around the same time and I had the difference in dates between my Premiere Order Status and the other Status screens.

But it sounds like you have a lot more going on. But if your original orders are the correct ones, I'm sure you have nothing to be concerned about.
 
A few people earlier were talking about the strange fedex tracking #'s that started with 5, then some revealed more: 502, now a couple posts back I saw someone's number that was 5023xxxxxxxx
mine is 502321xxxxxx
I thought I saw someone else say they called fedex and they said that their number was part of a bulk order and that we'd get new numbers later this afternoon. I was just checking to see if anyone else's number followed this same pattern... to confirm fedex's story....
(I just want to stop hoping the fedex site will update, and get a REAL tracking #)

Mine is the same story... FEDX tracking # 502321xxxxxx and no info on the fedex site...

So I'm guessing the story is true then? 502 is the bulk code and then 322, 38x, 321 are different bulk orders?

Its fun to speculate.... passes the time while I wait on being able to actually track my phone

Im pretty sure everyone (including me) who ordered in store on the 7th has not seen any movement from back order status which is starting to piss me off.

Should have just done it online but i needed it to ship to a different address than account holder's (family plan).

I have that too and the person told me that i didn't accept an agreement until the 9th. I know for a fact that there was no agreement ever sent to me or on the at&t website. I could've sworn that for me it was during the ordering process. Did you have anything to "accept"?
 
So what's the deal with the WHITE iPhones?? Anybody get tracking #'s for them? Appears to be a pattern with the white iphones being held up...
