AT&T iPhone 4S Pre-Order Status Thread

Im pretty sure everyone (including me) who ordered in store on the 7th has not seen any movement from back order status which is starting to piss me off.

Should have just done it online but i needed it to ship to a different address than account holder's (family plan).

Same here for our three orders. Still showing Back-ordered.

Mine has shipped as of yesterday via UPS.....which means I won't get it till Sunday since I am leaving for NY at 3pm Friday...ugh.

Contact UPS or use UPS mychoice online. They should be able to help you if you have a tracking number.

Honestly, I don't think color has anything to do with it.

I ordered the 32g white and I got a ups tracking number this morning. I ordered from the regular AT&T site 4am on the 7th. Non-premier.

placed order on friday at 4:33am check my order status this morning and have a tracking number for my white 32gb iphone 4s....around noon got an att email saying that my item has shipped and about 30 mins ago i got a text saying the same....happy customer right now...ill be excited when my phone is here Friday!!!!

The time on the email means absolutely nothing. More then likely their email servers were backed up all day.

I hope the CSR somehow delays your order. There was absolutely no reason to be so rude.

Saw a post earlier that 12 digit FedEx tracking numbers are 2nd Day Air. The longer numbers are ground, etc.

Just got my tracking number. White 32 premier order coming through UPS. I was getting worried for a little while.

My wife and I upgraded one of our lines to an iPhone 4S at ATT.com early in the morning on October 7, 2011 (after all of the website issues were resolved), and received an email telling us that our order was received and our iPhone was expected for delivery on October 14, 2011.

Well, on a couple of websites I follow, I see all you guys receiving your shipping tracking numbers and we haven't heard a peep, so we decide to give customer service a call.

When we call, the CSR tells us that our order was never completed! I have the email to prove it, yet, I'm told it was never completed.

The worst part was that there was no explanation past that, no matter how much we pushed for one. It just wasn't completed!

She then offered to complete the order, but couldn't give us an estimated ship date. We eventually said 'screw it' and cancelled our order. She couldn't even give us a confirmation number for our cancelled order.

No email, no communication with me, no explanation. It just wasn't completed.

So I'm up early in the morning on "preorder day" and received a confirmation that the order was received and that our iPhone was reserved, only to find out 5 days later that this wasn't the case.

New phones have been ordered through Apple directly, and now we get to wait 2-3 weeks for the phone. I guess that's better than finding out 2 days prior to the expected delivery that your phones won't be coming.

Well but then I can't use my phone immediately following the Sabbath! I spoke to a FedEx rep who said it looks like it doesn't need signing, but I should leave a signed note at the door to leave the package.

i ordered a white 32g 4s in store that has shipped ups as well as a black 16g 4s that shipped fedex. both orders were placed in store on the 7th at 9am. both just showed up today as showing shipped. can't wait, upgradeing from a white 32 3gs.

all you people who got the white will be very disapointed, i had both, the black is classy, the white is SOO ugly with the screen off, thats why all the pictures you see of it never have the screen off cause it just looks so horrible, not to mention the camera and sensor show up black, ewwww

I called my employer ATT account rep around 9am Friday, not sure when he placed the order, but I got the initital email confirmation at 10:38am Friday.
