For those who have tracking numbers most of the shipments were "send out" late last week/early this week, but nobody got tracking numbers until yesterday afternoon for the most part. Just takes time, future deliveries are one of the most complex for FedEx's systems to process according to my buddy who's in management at FedEx.

Oh God, I watched this and thought to myself "I would never want to work there". The pressure to turn out that much product in a very short time would make me want to pull my hair out.
My second thought, "I want to jump on the conveyor belt and ride that thing to the end".
Ordered same phone over an hour before you. No tracking here in Kansas.

It seems to just be the status the phone sits in until its actually shipped. Mine has said Preparing to ship since I ordered it last week.

Second order 9/12 @ 2:58 AM EDT 64GB Space Gray 6S. I got that shipment notification yesterday for that order. Weird thing is that the second order was shipped since Sunday and only yesterday did the status change to shipped. thats also coming from FT Worth

I kind of wonder if the shipping history for each phone includes some movement that occurred before it was actually assigned to someone.
I ordered the 6s 64gb Gold and it's been shipped! Sitting in Ft. Worth all week with overnight scheduled to go out tonight.
I JUST received my UPS choice shipping alert, I thought I'd receive that once a tracking number was created. I guess it's when UPS receives the package or updates their system? I guess things are probably wacky with the high demand... Nothing has changed on the UPS tracking page except that the status went from "IN Transit to UPS: UPS is waiting to receive your package or something to that effect)." to "IN TRANSIT." I'll assume this means the possession of the phones in Memphis has went from AT&T to UPS...
I ordered a regular 6s (not +) Space Gray, 64 GB exactly 24 hours ago, so In case anyone with 6s hasn't got shipping info, or anyone is worried about how quick they are processing orders, mine already shipped.

I ordered my 6s+ RG 64GB in store at 1:44 on 9/12. I'm in the October 23-30 ship date. Were you also?
No (because as others have stated) unlike Apple AT&T ships from the US not directly China. So the tracking number will originate from where Fedex or UPS takes possession of the phones.
I work in logistics and actually that is the way it works. Order first by location second. It all depends on what items were available when shipping out.

Mine was shipped UPS and in my UPS Choice account the links to reschedule, pick a two hour delivery window, or deliver to a UPS store have been disabled so this may be an AT&T or Apple mandate.
Chatted with AT&T to make sure I have no billing issues holding my order up since so many after me are luckier than I am. She said I should receive notification by this weekend. That doesn't help me much...

Mine is from FedEx and it doesn't say, "Signature Required". Do you think they will deliver without a signature? Every other Apple product I've ordered always requires a signature.
Yeah, "ATT Cares" on Twitter is no help. They basically told me the preorder ship window estimates were 100% accurate. Even when I told them people with the same (generic) ship window as me have already gotten tracking.
Just some good news for those who are waiting.
My 64GB SG 6s+ had a Oct 16-23 delivery date. Just updated the order status and it's being shipped overnight by FedEx. So it seems as though a majority of these are pushing through now.
