I think the 6s is having no issues. Apple has really done a poor job of preparing for 6s+ sales just like it happened last year. Yes AT&T should be more transparent with regard to where our phones are in the system but ultimately it is Apple's fault.

It's honestly probably more ATT. Apple could have 1231092381 million 6+'s for all we know, but if ATT only purchased 500 of them then that's where the bottle neck is.

Again I am not saying I am 100% sure but it does seem odd that those who ordered 6s' yesterday are having their phones delivered tomorrow. I can't see AT&T being that stupid but then again that's probably giving them more credit than they deserve. I would think that they'd stock up to around the same quantities. 6s' just seem to be in far more stock.
 
Got my shipping order Wednesday - FedEx says it will be on Friday before 3:00 PM, of course I won't be home though... :-/

iPhone 6S+ Space Grey 64gb... Originally said Oct 16th to the 23rd. I ordered it about 27 minutes after the sale started.
 
Just received email from AT&T with tracking number. Delivery tomorrow
6S + Space Gray, 64 GB
Ordered: 9/12/2015 @ 4:16 am edt
Ship location: SC (adding since the discussion about regions/locations came up)
Phone still in Ft Worth though

Afaik the 6+ didn't sell as well, so it's probably their analysts that say they have to. I mean it's just business. And honestly for them, it's probably way more efficient to not buy out as much 6s+ stock because they KNOW people will wait for them to ship. If they can keep the demand out by a week or so, it's saving them money by not over buying. More immediate profit.

Interesting since my same phone is coming to SC, but it is currently in Indiana.

There seems to be plenty of stock of 6s phones. Someone posted that they ordered an AT&T 6s phone a day or two ago and it's shipped from AT&T for delivery tomorrow.
I forget which phone you ordered. Hopefully you get the one you want tomorrow!

You're absolutely right. It is just business but as a consumer that sucks for me! From what I have learned the Oct shipping estimates are a load of crap. They don't mean anything. Ultimately when your phone becomes available it will ship. If you're lucky it's tomorrow, if you're really unlucky it'll be November. It's all luck really since there doesn't seem to be any preset order in which they are processing our phones.

Nice! I have the exact same order but no movement yet. This is making me antsy, I need to calm down.
 
Just got a delivery exception from FedEx. My scheduled delivery was for today but I didn't think I was actually going to get it today. Package found its way back to Ft Worth from Memphis, TN with a future delivery requested. Odd!

I just scheduled my package to be held at the UPS CC that my phone would be processed at before being put on the little brown truck to go to my house! Whoo hoo, no waiting around until the "end of the business day!"

Thank you. Your package will be held at the location below from Friday, 09/25/2015 until Thursday, 10/01/2015. Please arrange to pick up your package by no later than Thursday, 10/01/2015. After this date, your package will be returned to the shipper.

I'm actually really excited because I don't trust UPS! I was nervous because I live in an apartment and the guy who has the route is so effing lazy that I've caught him throwing packages up a flight of stairs so he doesn't have to walk up and if the package requires a signature he just puts that no one was home. I've waited all day for stuff before and I'll get an email that delivery was attempted (a time like 2 hours before when I was home), to reschedule delivery.

Just letting everyone know picking it up at UPS CC ("depot") is an option BUT you must do this today as it says scheduling this on the day of scheduled delivery MAY not be possible.

That's correct. Without any sort of signature required (there are 3 kinds: Indirect, Direct, and Adult) showing under the Shipment Facts section, they will just drop it off and move on.

They seem to ship from ATTs Ft worth warehouse to FedEx Ft Worth and then to the Fedex Memphis distribution center and then scatter to the wind :) If the phone shipped from China too late to get to the Ft Worth warehouse, they just hold it in Memphis before the scatter phase. Mine started in Ft Worth and is now in Memphis.

Third time I finally had them ship to my office (was never previously offered the option).

Net result is my phone is only a few months old instead of a year but MY GOD. Protect your doorsteps!

They used to require signing but that changed after the iPhone 4 overload. Didn't sign for my 5 or 6. It was just there.
 
Just wanted to give others hope, i just checked my order on AT&T's website and it said shipped today with delivery by tomorrow! (FedEx)
Ordered launch day at 3:01am EST.

I have always had the 2 year contract with the grandfathered unlimited data. However I ordered the 6s space gray 64gb and it is arriving tomorrow
 
Anyone hear of anything shipping on orders placed after the 12th? Ordered a 64gb rg 6s plus on the 14th. Not worried about launch day but hoping it's not really October 26-November 2 like the estimate says...
