I just pre-ordered my 6s+, I ordered through apple.com as AT&T was giving me hooplah when I wasn't eligible for a trade in"on att.com" called att and said I could upgrade!! So I'm selling my S6 Edge and just gonna pay off what's left on Next and be done with it, as long as you pay off next before the 14 days after you get your phone or before you don't have to trade it.

My delivery window is Oct 20 - Oct 27 which isn't too different from when I got the 6+ last year.
I got 64GB this time around as I'm simply not using that much storage, I got space gray this time around as well as it makes watching videos easier on the eyes for some reason.

I'm somewhat optimistic we will have our phones Friday. My status (6S+ ordered 9/12) is "preparing for shipment" as I'm sure others are as well. It will blow my mind if that status is unchanged for over a month given the mid-October window.

I am thinking the same as you.

My 6S+ says same and hoping it gets to me Friday as I ordered 13 min after it went on sale

I ordered a 6 Plus last year and it goes without saying I didn't get it on the launch day. When it did finally come it came USPS. So for those unfortunate to have to wait beyond Friday, the post man might be bringing your shipment as well.
Wow that's interesting! Thanks for that! That could definitely alter some delivery dates!

Lord, I hope not. I might as well not have pre ordered if I have to sit around waiting for the post office man to bring it.

I think the initial launch shipments tend to come fedex/UPS. USPS can definitely deliver post launch phones. That's not too bad, I get things overnight and 2day from Amazon all the time and USPS often does the delivery. I'd actually prefer them as they come in the morning here while the other two don't get to my area until the afternoon.

I'd also like to add that my packages via USPS always look great where as packages from UPS and Fedex look like someone played soccer with them before leaving them on my porch. Not exactly what I like my phone going through :(

Anyone with a Premier account whose status hasn't changed from "In Progress"?

My "projected" ship date is September 24. 6S SG 64GB with no card activity ordered at 2:45 AM on launch day.

Nope, been the same since I ordered (6S 64GB Space Gray, 9/12 @ 3AM EDT) - same ship date as you.

Maybe y'alls post office is just better there. Mine is horrible here. They tend to make things up and just don't deliver sometimes when they don't feel like it. I had a package from Amazon for guaranteed Sunday delivery this past weekend. It got to our post office and at about 10am the tracking showed "You delivery date has been changed to 9/21." So they already weren't planning to deliver it to me Sunday. Then they changed the tracking sunday night to say they tried to deliver the package but the business was closed. Well I don't live at a business, I live at a house. And we were in the front yard the whole day decorating for Halloween. So they never even tried to deliver. It happens all the time here. I would much rather my phone come UPS or Fedex. At least if you have an issue, they try to help. The post office couldn't care less.

I still have "IN PROCESS" and shipment dates of "OCT 16th - OCT 23rd" for the 6s Plus 128GB Rose Gold. Order processed at 320am eastern time, by the time everything was said and done with the AT&T buy up payment and all.
Extremely upset with that time frame especially since I was waiting on AT&T's webpage a half hour before opening up.
First time pre-ordering a phone and will never do it again with those type of dates, no point if it's going to take a month later to receive it. It's a "PRE"-ORDER for a reason.

Same here. 6s 64G Space Grey. Premier account still says "In Progress" and Ship date is the 24th. No activity on my card either.

Im not worried. Ive always gotten my phones on launch day (even when the tracking info suggested otherwise).

Well this is promising! I ordered my 6S+ RG 64GB at 2:53 ET. If yours has a projected ship date as 9/24 then fingers crossed that all of ours with "in progress" is also 9/24!

Same with me I was able to get onto the site at 3:06am est and all were in oct ship dates. What's the point of a pre order and staying up till 3am if we are going to have to wait a month after the phone is released to get it. If your able to order a few mins after midnight then you should be able to get a phone. There is no point of pre ordering next year if this is how it's going to be.

My point exactly. I did same as you and still hoping the dates move up.

Overnight

Unfortunately there's no way of knowing with ATT. UPS AND FEDEX both are used depending on the area. And speaking to an ATT rep is no help as they don't know
Hopefully by this time ATT has the hang of it but I tend to doubt it. Wednesday night will hold the answers
