One positive note that I mentioned in another thread is that the same thing happened with the 6Plus last year and I ended up getting mine on launch day WITHOUT having received any shipping information from ATT. So there's a tad bit of hope, but for some reason i'm being more pessimistic this year. I just don't know how in the heck you are ATT, the original iPhone carrier and end up with freaking ZERO models of the 6sPlus. That's just wrong.
 
My phones aren't showing up yet in the FedEx Delivery Manager. Both phones are in my name. So there's still updating going on. Also, I believe FedEx is also based on address and not name.

Yeah, I spoke with someone from Customer Service. She said that Apple is not allowing them to perform a hold at location until one delivery attempt has been made.
I guess I'll be working from home on Friday.

I just get the feeling they either A) pissed Apple off with their limiting policy that states 2 year contracts can only be signed through them, or B) only wanted to have a limited stock in hopes people would get fed up with a 2 year contract and choose a Next plan direct from Apple. Either way, it's piss poor business and customer service. I'm really tempted to jump ship this time and move to Verizon.
 
I've never ordered through AT&T until this year. How do you know a signature will be required? I know on the tracking page for fedex it usually says "Signature required." My order doesn't say that.

Not sure your personal situation but if you have to you can probably call the carrier and leave a signed note for them to leave your package. I've done that with Fedex before with no problems. Obviously if you live in a high crime area or something but like I said I'm not making assumptions about your situation but that might be an option for you or anyone else that can't be home to sign for their package.
 
I attempted to order a 6s today. With phone help from customer service, I was able to confirm that my unlimited data plan was grandfathered in from 2007 and to choose that option (Data Unlimited for $30/month) at checkout. I did this. Only I got an error message:

We're sorry, but Data Unlimited for iPhone or 4G LTE is no longer offered. Please select a different item. (WSLB10084)

Since I had customer support on the phone, I asked her what to do. She said she would check. After being placed on hold for perhaps 10 minutes, she returned having spoken with Sales, Support and several other departments, all of whom said that this was not their problem.

The best she could come up with was to relay the suggestion from one of these departments that I visit an AT&T Store!

This defeats the purpose of a web store.

I will post again if I visit the AT&T Store.

I've been logging into my account then going to "My Orders" and that is where I see my In Progress. Where is the other place to see your order?

as long as you aren't logged into your AT&T account, this link will take you to a check status page. If you enter your info on the left side (not your AT&T login info on the right) that is where it's been taking me (and others) to a page that says "Preparing to ship" when all other links say "In Progress". this probably doesn't mean much however, most people, including myself, have been told by AT&T that both statuses mean the same thing.
 
Assuming you ordered from AT&T and not apple, you'd be the only person with a 6s Plus order that shows anything other than mid October.

I ordered from AT&T to get the 2-year contract price. My original order around 3AM EDT did show a ship date of October 16, but due to the credit card being declined, I called Premier around 9AM. They told me that they had to re-submit the order, which made me worry that I would lose my place in line. When the new order came through, it showed a Sept 24 ship date.

So AT&T had my tracking number for 2 days before giving it to me?

BTW, I felt it was close considering I got an email yesterday to add some stupid ASUS tablet to my shopping cart yesterday then after midnight today I got my "customer service summary" email.

Also, I have never been recharged the sales tax for the Next plan yet.

That makes you the single luckiest person who purchased from AT&T. It also is going to manage to piss off everyone else who ordered. That's awesome for you though!

Well crap. Looks like I'll be doing the same. Usually FedEx comes early, but I know it's an odd day.

That's interesting. I haven't heard a thing and I'm still holding out hope. It won't be the end of the world if it doesn't show up Friday but it would be nice. I have learned my lesson through all of this though. This may be the last phone I purchase through AT&T. I think that is what they would prefer anyway. From a customer service standpoint this is just crap, but then again I can't think of a wireless carrier that has been praised for they outstanding customer service. In the future I'll buy directly from Apple and just pay AT&T to keep their network running.

Same here! My phone apparently shipped yesterday morning but I only received the tracking notification today, and I also was never re-charged the sales tax after the initial authorization fell off.

Ah that one is saying "Preparing to ship". I haven't ever seen this page, odd haha.

Well we'll find out within the next couple of days!

I'm not to hopeful that mine is going to ship anytime soon but if it does I hope they send me and email and not have it just show up at my door. Because if I don't have a shipping notice I'm not going to be home on Friday.
 
Well something odd has changed in my order status for my 6Plus but not sure what, if anything, to make of it. When I log in to my account using the AT&T app on my phone and go to my Alerts, it states that my order which was submitted on 9-23 (today) is in progress. My order was actually submitted and confirmed on 9-12 and that is what is stated when I click on check order status. Not sure where 9-23 comes into play.

Finally got Shipped status for silver 6s 128gb. Sitting in Ft. Worth too for 9/25 delivery.

Ordered that sucker on Friday too, just before they ran out of everything.
 
I was really hoping my 64gb rose gold 6S was going to be delivered launch day. But it still shows 9/29/15-10/6/15
 
128 6s grey shipped 09/18 FedEx- ordered 3 am EST 09/12
128 6s silver shipped 09/20 FedEx - ordered next day 09/13 Saturday around 7 pm

They shipped it long time ago, just provided me with tracking numbers.

No recharge. UPS! I lost my CC :)

Ordered that sucker on Friday too, just before they ran out of everything.

I just ordered my SG 6s 128gb yesterday, and it is showing 9/24 shipping for 9/25 delivery. My status still shows as 'Preparing to Ship'.
 
I just went to cancel my order. 6s+, SG, 64gb. I got my order confirmation at 2:57am est. The order status is still listed as in progress. I tried cancelling and I get this message "We're sorry. Your order has already been sent to shipping, so it's too late to cancel it."



JUST READ ON ANOTHER FORUM THAT SOMEONE 6S+ IS SAYING THIS? ANYBODY ELSES IF YOU TRY TO CANCEL??

I want to try and hit the cancel button and see what it says but I don't want it to actually cancel. Does it take you to another screen to confirm first?
