How long do you get the 20GB at the 10GB price? Does it go on forever, or just a few months or ??

Thanks all, I talked to a very nice woman in retentions, (on-line didn't help that said just to call in) but I got my single line to $65 a month for unlimited talk/text and 4GB of Data, so that is pretty awesome!

Thanks OP!!! Called in pressed 0 then 3 asked to price match and then put me back on the 10gb plan. Originally had 15gb plan to get 30gb.

called yesterday afternoon and got the 20 for 10! THANX, OP!!!!!

i would have loved a microcell cuz our service at home isn't stellar....

i had changed to 30 for 15 coinciding with our biling period, but didn't really need 30 (we had never gone over 5)

granted, with my ipad sharing the data now i've used more since going shared (only paid for the 256 mb for "just in case" in the past) but i still don't see us going over 10 even... but had wanted to take advantage of the double.... well now i'm happy to have 20 and at my original cost (and in feb i plan to remove my ipad from the account and save another $10 when that contract is done...)

I just spoke with a very nice lady by the name of Dawn. She knew what I was referring to and made the change with no problem at all. Logged in to check the account and sure enough we have 19.8 GB left for our cycle that just started not even a full week ago. 30GB a month was overkill for us and this works perfectly by leaving a buffer.

Man, today is turning out to be a banner day!

I just go off the phone with retentions and was able to easily get our data doubled from 10gb to 20gb. And not 5 minutes after I got off the phone, I got the "We're working on your order" email from Apple for my 6 Plus that I ordered on 10/5. Not much longer now!

Thanks for the heads up on this, OP!

Sucessfully doubled from 10GB to 20GB. The guy that helped me said it lasts until the plan is changed, so good call on that!

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP, only took a few minutes and now I have 20gb instead of 10gb.

Thank you very much!

I just tried calling and the first time it disconnected me when I was transferred, and the second time supposedly the retention is so full they can't even transfer calls. Ima try again and see. Anyone else have that problem?

Attempt one met with a very difficult encounter who ensured me that Retentions wouldn't help me. She kept trying to keep me from speaking with them.

She finally transferred me to Relations, and she said it's not a plan offered, but would be happy to do this for me. I was put on hold, and then disconnected. No call back.

I'm now on hold with AT&T to attempt this for a second time.

I created an account just to say thank you and this worked for me like a charm. i spoke with customer service, asked to be transferred to retention, told them about the sprint deal and i was done.

Dial 611 from your phone and hit 3, that should take you to the Retentions dept directly. No need to talk to C/S dept.

Thanks! That worked perfectly. I was on hold for 10 minutes, but it did transfer me straight to retention.

I have the grandfathered unlimited data plan with the 450 minutes talk. All told, it's $80/mo. The AT&T plan compare tool shows it would be $140/mo for the 10GB mobile share plan for the 1 device. So, this is the plan I can get for $100/mo with 20GB/mo? Is this new plan technically their Next plan? I'm not clear on how the Next/Mobile Share plan works when you buy a new iPhone (which I did on 9/12). I'd really like to have a hotspot.
