Me too.

Hi,Your rate plan was changed to the exclusive Mobile Share 20GB plan for the same price as the 10GB ($100 plus the cost of each smartphone). ~Rhonda

I called and asked for Retention Dept.

I just got them to upgrade my plan to the 20GB one over chat. She said the data would be doubled from my next plan period. I don't see the confirmation of this though. How long does it take for them to update it?

Mine was updated within minutes. Went to ATT.com and looked up my plan.

I would call back. Mine was updated immediately (in mid cycle) and I got a text to confirm. I am thinking that it will apply when your account bills to your next cycle, but I would call and confirm that and ask for a text confirmation of that or ask them to start it now.

I called back and spoke with someone else who gladly doubled my data from 10GB to 20GB. Looking forward to streaming everything!

For those who have gotten the 10/20 plan change, your account may show the following verbiage or similar when viewing plan details (see below). ATT cs confirmed via text that plan details will be updated in 48 hours.

I am seeing the same message as well, however I can see that my data allotment is 20GB because it shows how much I've used out of that amount.

More than anything I just want to make sure they have the price right! I saved the chat convo just in case.

Thanks. I went back on the chat and got them to send the confirmation.

Took 2 tries for me to get it.

First guy through 611, option 5 and 6 (all other inquiries) said they only double the plan for the 15GB and up. I asked for retentions and he said they don't have a department like that. I asked to connect to the department to cancel my service, and he said he can do that. I just said never mind, thanks and hung up.

I called again, this time choosing option 5 and 5 (to cancel service) and I was in the queue for around 2 minutes. I asked the rep if AT&T could double my data to match Sprint's promo. She looked at my account and started, "Normally we only double the 15GB plan, but since you've been a customer for a long time, I can double your 10GB at the same price." I said my thanks, and now waiting for the text message. But my account info shows 20GB now.

Thanks to the OP for sharing the info!

Yes. Sorry… My data allotment was showing the 20GB as well. I just wanted to ensure that the plan details page showing, "Looks like you have the only MS plan…" was going to be updated at some point to reflect the 20 for 10.

Like you, I prefer chat so that I can save a transcript any time I contact cs.

All done, and worked. Downgraded back to 10GB plan from 15, to double to 20GB saving me $30 a month. Beautiful!

So I just called AT&T to get them to double my plan. They were ready to do it but then noticed that my account was parked because I have an iPhone 6+ on order and the system prevents them from doing it. Sigh.

Weird. Did it earlier for a friend (2GB to 4GB) and she also has a 6 on order

Yea, I'm in the same place. Same warning in my account about having the only plan available, but my data shows 20 GB.

I was a little concerned about the price and saved the convo as well. She confirmed that it would cost the same but also asked me to confirm that I'm okay with the partial charge for changing my plan, so I'm a little confused.

They should refund any prorated charges. They did for others and for me as well.

Agreed. Gave me a credit for 2 weeks prorate on the 15gb (30gb) that I had upgraded to. But, I had to ask about the prorate charge since we hadn't even gone over 10gb yet. He offered to apply a $15 credit for it.

I would call back Retentions and get someone else. Don't say anything about being "parked" Doesn't sound right to me. What does your phone have to do with your plan?

All of you who are using the Mobile Share Value plan, Do you upgrade every two years with this plan? or do you just keep it? or buy the phone out right (or NEXT)?
I really like this plan as it is giving you another 10gb but wasn't sure if it is worth to go from the old family plan (2 smartphone and 1 basic phone) to this when you have to pay $40 per line if you subsidize the phone ($15 if you do not change the plan but once you upgrade, it is $40). I want to make all three into smartphones though. Are there any good suggestions on this? Currently paying $150 (550 min, 2 3gb smartphones, unlimited text, 1 basic phone).
