Normally with alot of packages via Fedex, you can request hold at Fedex location before any delivery attempt is made. Unfortunately it appears that AT&T has disabled that option. Furthermore, I know that it doesn't say anything about a signature but my gut tells me that it will require one regardless.
 
Got my shipping notification email at 5:30am MST today. Shipped via FedEx; coming from Memphis.

256GB Space Gray. Ordered 10/27 @ 12:31am.
 
Sorry got mixed up. But UPS MyChoice is exactly like FedEx Delivery Manager. You have to wait till UPS scans the package to their system. It might take a few hours.

I have tracking info already and a MyChoice account, but it just says by the end of the day.
 
I'll repost my question since this thread is moving so quickly...did anyone have an estimated shipping date in December and then get a tracking number for delivery tomorrow??

yea i just called Fedex and got an automated message basically stating what you said.
 
those of you with fedex delivery manager.

if your phone shipped are you able to get the option to have them hold at the fedex store?

my things are all greyed out when I go to "customize delivery".

anyone know what I could do, I dont wanna miss the delivery to my house.

I know some of you said leave a note, but will that really suffice?

If they are grayed out, then there is nothing you can do. Mine doesn't require a signature though, so yours may not as well. So maybe they will just leave it at the door.
 
I think someone mentioned this a while back but did anyone else who got the order sent via Fedex from Texas who has a Fedex account not get a Fedex Alert? The address looks right in the ATT system but I never got the Fedex notification. The tracking looks normal.
Ditto. I had to manually add the tracking number to the FedEx app in order for it to show up.
 
Should we print off the form if our tracking doesn't specify that a signature is required?
Yes but no matter what you do, the driver makes the final decision about whether to leave the package even if you have posted the release.

I have had more problems with UPS ignoring release forms. For example: last year I ordered 2 iPhone SE, 1 from Apple and 1 from AT&T. UPS ignored the Release and I had to pickup after the truck returned to the center. FedEx worked like it should.

I talked to a rep also and I asked what were the chances of mine shipping today and receiving it tomorrow he said likely.. I always get it launch day i hope he wasn’t lieing

i had the same thing happen, but nothing changed, and the phone comes tomorrow. I'm thinking if you're at 11/2 through the 11/10 and it says in progress still that we aren't getting our phones tomorrow :(

Please. I know this will be quickly buried. But if you can see this, can you please just call your delivery company and ask about your own package if you are that unsure? Whether to leave the package or not when leaving a note is up to the driver's discretion and no person online can predict what your own driver is going to do. Some people are reporting signature is required for them, some aren't. Some people's phones are already local and the ones that aren't seem to not have a specific delivery timeframe uploaded.

Someone asked if his wife can sign on his behalf. Really? o_O
 
UPS order in transit. Nothing on MyChoice or the generic tracking page seems to indicate a signature required for delivery. In fact, the delivery instructions currently read: leave at front door. I'm feeling good about not needing to be present in order for the package to be delivered.
 
I called FedEx and they won't let you change delivery address or hold at a FedEx location until after they make one delivery attempt.

If you won't be home tomorrow and want your phone before Monday, you'll need to leave a note for your delivery driver asking to leave the package without a signature. Not worth the risk for me.

I kind of get why they won't allow changes of address, but it seems silly to disallow holding at a FedEx location. I have to show up and present my ID to get the package so it seems much more secure from the AT&T/FedEx perspective than just leaving it on my doorstep but whatever. Monday it is, I guess

For those of you hoping against hope that maybe you can get an X at an AT&T Retail or Corporate store tomorrow morning.. Just got this from a regional manager friend in AT&T corporate..

[[ We've kept all current stock to fill our pre-orders. No stores, retail or corporate, will have any iPhone X in stock tomorrow. ]]

Yeah, that's the case here. I'm on the phone with AT&T to see if they can do anything about it but I'm not holding my breath.

Good frankly, if I preordered one why should someone who goes to the store be able to get one before me or anyone else who preordered.
 
My boyfriends package is in transit 64 GB SG ordered at 1:15 AM PST. SHipping through UPS.

A few pages back someone said they had adecember estimate and it shipped for delivery tomorrow. It was back a bunch of pages.

I originally had a 12/4-12/18 delivery range... got an email Tuesday night and I got bumped up to 11/2 ship date. I knew something was wrong with the original date range because I ordered at 3:03AM EST on 10/27 and there is no way they could be back ordered that far in 3 minutes. Anyway, I have tracking info now and my phone is being delivered tomorrow.
