Actually if you will not have someone available to sign you can leave a signed dated note outside the delivery location for FedEx. Source: they just left me a voicemail telling me.

Sigh. Ordered at 7:08am on 10/27. 256GB Silver. Upgraded. Nov 2 - Nov 10 window. Still "In Progress". Going to PA.

I was mistaken about all the orders going by FedEx. It seems the ones from TN are sent by UPS.
I ordered mine at 5:59 EST, no movement on “in progress 11/2-10” until yesterday late got shipped notice at 2:30 this morning. It’ll happen
If you opted to trade in, perhaps the other tracking is for the materials for sending in your phone. If not, you get two new phones, yay!
ATT having like 5 different order status systems, sometimes telling you a different thing always seemed ridiculous to me.
Got tracking info for one of my two orders and it will be here tomorrow. The second order that had to be redone due to a "glitch" is still "in progress" with no changes.
I almost regretted not being able to get my original SG reservation through Apple but the more I see what the silver looks like, the more I like it!
Also seeing that the silvers are having more consistent delivery windows doesn’t hurt either.

Should we print off the form if our tracking doesn't specify that a signature is required?
Are they supposed to just ignore their protocols just because you leave a note saying it's okay?
FYI everyone that is having their packages delivered by FedEx... Check your tracking information to see if they specify whether a signature will be required. Mine does not, and I also called FedEx to confirm that a signature would not be required, which they did.
When I log into the Delivery Manager those options are grayed out. It only lets me provide delivery instructions and request vacation hold. I would gladly pay a little extra to get a time frame!
so relieved mine is being delivered via UPS. Set up to pick up at UPS facility. Will show up when they open at 8am. Good luck to those waiting on Fedex.
Since you ordered from At&t, it is locked and you have to get them to unlock it.
Ordered SG 256GB 4:37am EST. Still in progress w/ 11/2-11/10 shipping date.
I had a chat with an agent who said ": All iPhone X with the shipment date 11/02, all the devices are expected to be shipped out today which is the start date of shipping for iPhone X, so what I suggest is to watch out for our email with the tracking number so you can track it"

if your phone shipped are you able to get the option to have them hold at the fedex store?
my things are all greyed out when I go to "customize delivery".
anyone know what I could do, I dont wanna miss the delivery to my house.

I talked to a rep also and I asked what were the chances of mine shipping today and receiving it tomorrow he said likely.. I always get it launch day i hope he wasn’t lieing
