Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

This my fifth iPhone preorder. All have come FEDEx and never had to sign for. In fact once I caught the truck enroute since I had to work and he gave me the package right off the truck without even checking my ID. My fathers is coming UPS (random I guess), but my UPS app doesn’t indicate it needs a signature. Also has the option to leave delivery instructions.

My 64gb SG phone (ordered at 6:58am ET) which had an original shipping estimate of Nov 2-10 just flipped from "In Progress" to "Preparing to Ship" sometime in the last 3 hours. Hoping for delivery tomorrow!

After receiving my new Kindle Oasis on its launch day (Tues 10/31) it's a GOOD week for me and new technology!

I have tracking info already and a MyChoice account, but it just says by the end of the day.

UPS delivers from 9am till 7pm. Unfortunately, they don’t give you an ETA between those times.

I ordered my at 4:18am ET via AT&T (Premier) and my wife via Verizon at 3:38am. Received my confirmation text from AT&T at 8:53am.
Both are coming FedEx. Hers from Memphis, TN and mine has now left Indianapolis, IN (from Ft. Worth, TX). Hers states will be delivered by 3pm tomorrow, mine is simply by 'end of day'. As we live in rural Ohio, I anticipate both on the same truck by 3pm. Working from home to assure we both have ours ready for the weekend. Really no problems whatsoever thus far.... and no reason to track airplane flights

I ordered two 64gb SG phones at 4:57am ET and it still says In Progress for both. It says my ship date is Nov 2 - 10th. Oh well

I ordered at 03:45 ET, 64Gb SG, and haven't received anything and nothing has changed on AT&T's site , In Progress, NOV 2-10

It seems the delayed models are the 64gb SG models.

Has anyone with a 64gb SG model ordered after 5:00am EST gotten shipping info and delivery tomorrow?

OR

Has anyone had 11/2-11/10 estimated ship date gotten moved up to 11/3 delivery?

Ditto. I had to manually add the tracking number to the FedEx app in order for it to show up.

Can anyone provide the reference number they use for reference tracking, does anything show on the delivery about number or att order number? Thanks!!

I ordered two phones and my cc was charged right away for the full price with tax. Now my cc doesn’t show the charges at all. The charges disappeared and my available credit matches with what my balance is. Does this mean I’m getting 2 free phones? My phones have been shipped and coming in tomorrow.

If I check my order status through the link in my confirmation email, it shows "preparing to ship". If I check my order status through the main site order tracking page, it says "in progress". WTF?

The reference number does not appear to be related to my account in anyway. Not the account, phone, or order number.

For those of you hoping against hope that maybe you can get an X at an AT&T Retail or Corporate store tomorrow morning.. Just got this from a regional manager friend in AT&T corporate..

[[ We've kept all current stock to fill our pre-orders. No stores, retail or corporate, will have any iPhone X in stock tomorrow. ]]

One store told me they already have stock, and one store said they aren't getting any. Will be interesting to see if any stores get some or not. I have mine coming tomorrow, so not worried either way.

For anyone that preordered in store to pick up in store: I just spoke with another AT&T CSR that was finally able to give me some info! So my order shows "in progress" expected to ship 11/2-11/10. According to the CSR, the status wont be updated until the package was delivered and the phone is ready to pick up in store!

No, it means the temporary charge they made to make sure the funds were available have dropped off, as they normally do. I'm imagining you will get charged the full price again today/tomorrow.

Ordered the 64 SG for my husband at 5:58am EST, and it just switched to shipped within the last half hour for delivery tomorrow.

It only switched to “Preparing for shipping” yesterday and we’ve had the 11/2-10 date all along.

Yes. I had a 11/2-11/10 since I've preordered. It finally went to preparing to ship Tuesday night and I got shipping notifications this morning.
