I wanted to add an extra line for my 2nd kid anyways and said. Going to upgrade to an X for my wife and add an extra line and get another X, but the $$$ is too much.

Then he told me that great deal. Not lying.

Can be done online you would just add it to your plan. You have to buy it on installments but you get a bill credit for the price of a 64gb iPhone 8. If you get a higher model you pay the difference.

ATT rep in store said like pay for 3 months and then get a bill credit and the phone is free

It sucks to hear that so many people were able to order way before I did and still haven't gotten a tracking number or have delivery dates in Dec or Jan while mine is sitting here in Vegas waiting to be delivered tomorrow.

I think it definitely has something to do with AT&T premier or it's just sheer luck on my part but of course things happen when you have so many items of a product that are being shipped out. Just like every year, there's going to be hiccups, we can only hope and cross our fingers that we aren't one of the unlucky individuals.

Ok. I didnt make changes to the shipping. I pre-signed for my 7+. ordered via AT&T. Once the phone shipped, I filled out and signed the pre-sign form through UPS. Left it on the door, and they left the box at my front door.

Oh then that's just an Apple requirement. Att is more lenient. The shipper tells the carrier what to do and they follow those instructions, even if it makes people receiving the packages mad.

Thats probably the case, I know Verizon's customers were getting early confirmations and tracking numbered compared to AT&T.
Hopefully tomorrow you'll get that update that says "out for delivery"

I’m with you. I held out thinking there was a chance to receive my new phone on release day, but no such luck. Now I will sit back and read the reviews while waiting for movement on my order. It’s not the end of the world, still sucks.

I was reading something about having to add DirectTV or uverse to your plan...is that the case or was that a older deal?

I called the local ATT store. They said you do not have to be or add DirectTV. They said that’s a different deal.

So I'm having mine shipped to my local AT&T store. I have the same 11/2-11/10 as you. I was told 4 different things, but today I was told that they can't track mine because its going to a store and I'll only be updated when its ready for pick-up. So I'm still hopeful we might get ours tomorrow!

Nov 2 - 10 date. Out for delivery tomorrow. I actually tried to cancel the order with ATT because I ended up getting one from Apple for tomorrow. The ATT site still says cancellation request received but the phone is coming tomorrow. Space gray 64gb ordered around 7:30 am October 27th. Only ordered from ATT because I got the error saying Apple couldn’t contact my carrier but they then followed up with an email to finish the order and kept my place in line.
Not sure if I should go through the trouble of selling it or just return it.
