Carrier AT&T Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

I ordered on 10-27 at 3 am. Received my X on release date.

My credit card had a temp charge of 1057 for the full week until it shipped the temp charge went away... haven’t seen any payments due?

Am I going to get another charge later on or billed on my payment ? Or a free iPhone X lol
 
Also still in progress with a 11/2-11/10 ship date.

I will never preorder another phone. I’ll just get one on launch day since it seems their always available in store. It’s unbelievable they stock the stores but are in no rush to complete pre orders first.

In solidarity with everyone left here who still has Nov 2-10 shipping dates:

SG 256MB. Ordered 10/27/2017 at 4:46:15 a.m. ET on the ATT Next Every Year plan. Received an "Order Received. We're working on it" email from ATT immediately and then about 5 hours later received the "Good to Go" email with Nov 2-10 ship dates. Never received a text message. Have been sitting "In Progress" since that time.

Completely agree with those who say calling does no good (I have called and chatted several times). I have been told everything from "It will be delivered on Sunday" (I laughed) to "No one knows where your phone is" (I did NOT laugh). I have probably argued with ATT phone and chat support enough to cover the bases for everyone here who is at all upset. Today I was put through to someone in Mexico City working for ATT who told me to call UPS (even though there is no tracking number) and ask them where my phone is. When I questioned how that could possibly make any sense, I was told that UPS would know because ATT stopped using FedEx over a year ago. That was the last straw. I gave up.

But about an hour ago, my status switched to "Preparing to Ship." Still no charge on my credit card. I was told by ATT that I would be charged for taxes only on the credit card that is used for my auto payments, and that it would not be charged until it actually shipped. We will see what happens.

Right ? That just baffles me man. Preorder customers should get first priority , no questions asked.
 
Finally got my shipping confirmation for my SG256 ordered at 4:27 ET with 11/2-11/10 estimate. Shipped via Fedex overnight with eta of tomorrow by 3pm. Hopefully the rest of you in this group start seeing some movement soon. Mine was “in progress” since I ordered it up until now.

That’s good to hear. I order at 10:56 ET on launch day. Maybe mine won’t be too far behind you.

Congrats , ordered at 8:08am EST on 10/27. 11/2-11/10 in progress. Hopefully something comes up tomorrow

Ordered at 8:59ET. Finally got Preparing to Ship Today. Still no tracking number yet. I’m in Huntsville, AL for location reference. So glad to finally see a change in status.
 
So mine was ordered Nov 27 at 5:46 am EST with Nov 2-10 window, and it went from "in progress" to "preparing to ship" last night. It looks like the same happened for others here who ordered early to late morning on the 27th. Definitely progress.

Keep reporting, please, so we can see how long it takes to go from "preparing to ship" to actually shipping. Thanks!
 
Really hoping my estimate of 11/17 changes to sooner. I'm so anxious waiting for mine. :(

5:17 AM EST 256 GB Space Gray was “In Progress” and changed to “Preparing to Ship” at around 5:00 AM this morning. I did not get an email with shipping information yet.

I just got my tracking number and the email the tracking number isn’t coming up in Fedex yet.
