its VERY strange. I can still cancel too. I say all that to say cant always go by ATT site

As of this moment, it has been in "Preparing to Ship" for about 16 hours with no other movement. Because I'm a nerd, I know that it stayed "In Progress" for 10 days and 15 hours before upgrading to Preparing to Ship.
Got another bump to Shipped. Will arrive tomorrow, 11/8.
Mine just updated as well. Got my tracking number as well. Will arrive tomorrow coming from Memphis.
My order (see above) was updated to shipped within the last hour. In Fort Worth on way to Little Rock, AR for delivery tomorrow by FedEx. Finally.
I tried to cover all bases with the two devices available to me. At 2:01AM, I had the Apple Store open on my iPhone and MyATT app open on my iPad. The Apple Store order said it could not communicate with my provider. So I closed it. Luckily, MyATT order went through. Well, only until Apple finally got through to ATT. So ATT cancelled my order. And I missed confirming with Apple. So ATT re-ordered at 5:22PM. And I got switched from a November 3 delivery date to sometime between December 4-18. GIMME A BREAK!

Yeah ! I ordered on 10/27 at 3:22 cst after being in a hold pattern on AT&T'S site for over and 1:20 minutes. I received a confirmation immediately after submitting with an expected delivery date of 11/3. On 11/3, I called AT&T about my order and was informed, my order was changed with no notification to 11/2-11/10. This morning, I awoke to a preparing to ship notification and as of 5 minutes ago received an alert from FedEx that my order is in Fort Worth, TX with an expected delivery date of 11/8 by 8 pm! 256 SG
I got 6 phones in from Premier on launch day. Order tracking still says In Progress.
I guess the key question is did you ever get a tracking or other email or did they just show up?
I received a tracking number via text from FedEx and my fed ex app. No update from AT&T, until I went to the site through my email confirmation and it stated shipped. Thank you FedEx for being on top of their game
After no update to my last status email from AT&T, "In progress expected shipping date 11/2-11/10." I decided to give AT&T a call to see if I could get a hard date on the shipping.
The CSR basically referred me to the terms and conditions in regard to ship times. Basically it was back ordered and would have probably taken weeks to receive. I decided to cancel my order and found that Best Buy had a few available for in store pick up.
I was able to get my Silver 256GB, at Best Buy. I almost gave in and went with the Space Grey 256 available at the Apple Store. I'm glad I searched a bit longer and got what I wanted.

The text and FedEx App had the tracking number in the notification. When I check the oder confirmation, it now has a tracking number in it. However, had I not gone to AT&T through the order confirmation. I would not have been notified without my FedEx app, I use for my small business.
That’s where I get confused I guess.
I just downloaded both fedex and ups. How do I set up notifications wherever a shipping label is created for my address?
When you set it up for your addresses you receive shipments normally. As soon as a label is created and shipped to an address on file in the app. It will notify you immediately through text or email. Depending on your preference set up in the app. That's for both ups and FedEx. As I use both through my business.
