Thanks for posting Grace's email. I'm about to drag this slore to hell and back *cracks knuckles*

i posted the only two emails i got them. I never got any changes in my exp delivery besides when they told me yesterday that the phones were being shipped

While it seems apparent Premiere and regular ATT customers have been wronged, Premiere looks to be worse off.

This has been so exhausting. Were it not for later preorders receiving their phones before early ones I would've care so much.

Oh well, one week down, we'll see how many left before they finally come in. At least there's a package to look forward to. That's always fun!

Order Details

I just figured I'd throw my time/date/phone/etc... into this thread...

Ordered a iPhone + SG 64GB at 3:11 AM EDT after trying to get in started at about 3AM.

Received a confirmation email at 6:03AM EDT, then the text confirmation didn't come until the following day, around 11AM Saturday the 13th.

I originally had a 10/31-11/11 ship date... then it updated that Sunday to 10/13-10/22 (approx) and is now in the 10/2-10/13 bucket, just like everyone and their mom.

My analysis of this whole debacle is that anyone who ordered early until about 3:25AM EDT got the shaft and for some reason were processed behind people that ordered from approx 3:30AM - 12PMish (again these are estimates).

It doesn't really seem to matter when the email confirmation came through because I've seen early signups with instant confirmations on here saying they're not receiving it, I've also seen people in my scenario with the same sort of delays and confirmation emails 2-4 hours+ after.

I'm not going to try to calm everyone down, I'm pretty frustrated and will be taking my 5 family lines to Verizon when the next phone comes out, they apparently can handle preorders. I hope many of us receive the phones tonight by surprise but I know that's a real longshot, in the interim you can enjoy this super old iPhone 4 Youtube video that used to crack me up. I'm an iFan all day, but the satirical value of the video transcends my brand loyalty.

Good luck everyone!

PS I am a premiere customer as well.

I ma in the same boat as well...

Ordered at 220AM CST. confirmation came in at about 3AM CST.

sitting at the 2 Oct- 13 Oct window.

I think the fault lie with their eCommerce platform. It seems it was overloaded by the number of orders placed in the early time window. Instead of processing orders or just developing a lag between orders it looks like it cached orders until resources freed up.

as resources freed up it looks like it continued processing both the new orders being placed and the ones it had cached.

In short... their IT department needs to be handed pink slips for not load balancing and not testing prior to AT&T's biggest sales day of the year.

also be sure to include my screen capture of my conversation with Athina in your conversation. In general i have no problems with AT&T, i think this mess could have been handled better if they had processed orders in the order that they were received, and also communicated. I can understand if i have to wait... just give me an accurate indication of how long i would wait.

I've seen this being told to people but it's obviously a load of poop, otherwise we would all be using our phones instead of sitting here wishing.

Is there anyone today who received their iPhone 6 Plus 64gig (whatever color) TODAY, and had no indication to expect it to be delivered today? Previous responses indicate that this has happened in the past, and I'm curious if that's happened today for the latest release. If you received your iPhone 6 plus, please give us details on if you had tracking information without using the UPS FedEx tricks we aquired here....

Good luck everyone!

Ordered the exact phone at 11:45AM CST 9/12, confirmation email 11:49AM CST 9/12. Estimated ship date: 11/7-11/27 again showing there are no patterns, rhyme or reasons to the ATT ordering system, no matter how hard we try to find one. lol

I understand the frustration many of us have here, and I also think complaining and sending them emails or chatting with CSR's isn't going to solve anything, I get that too. I can wait for my phone, after all, they gave us an estimated shipping date, great, awesome, I get that too.

What gets me upset as well as many of us here is the logistics behind it and how clueless and reckless this process has been. There is no first come, first serve order at all. At least with past pre-orders, although they were headaches dealing with AT&T, at least there was an order in place. This on the other hand, is just one big cluster f*!k. From the outside looking in, it really does look as if they're just picking orders out of a hat. Add to that the fact that all other carriers were able to come through with their orders and it just makes it that much worse. And just for ***** and giggles, you can still get on the ATT site and order yourself a new iPhone, apparently AT&T doesn't know the meaning of "out of stock" anymore. At the very least, temporarily stop taking in new orders until you fix this mess, but no, they get away with it under the guise of an estimated shipping date, which obviously holds no weight since they're clueless as how much inventory they are expecting, much less when they're receiving it.

I used to work at a large distribution warehouse, I know how shipping works, I know how to read a manifest as well as produce it, AT&T dropped the ball on this one big time, yet they refuse to acknowledge this. Logic says if you're bleeding, you stop the bleeding before applying a bandaid, but no, not in AT&T land.

I won't be switching carriers, I'm not up to that point yet. What I won't do is place another iPhone pre-order through AT&T ever again. Every year it gets worse, with this year topping them all.

Went into T-Mobile on a whim during my lunch break; they had the 128GB in stock (6 not plus). Decided it was good enough (and they said they'd waive the restocking fee if they got in the 6+ within 14 days). Seeya AT&T.

----------

Oh, and my cancellation quickly went through on the Premier site, which means my AT&T phone was obviously not yet en route. Despite having ordered it BEFORE the official on-sale.

I've been quietly watching from the sidelines since I'm relatively new to posting on this forum and really have nothing different to contribute to the conversation aside from my own frustration. My order went through at 3:27am EST (I saw someone on here stating they ordered their 64GB SG 6+ at 3:40 something and they received it today) and didn't get confirmation for 6 HOURS. I also experienced the same ship date bump ups as everyone else and as of 2-3 days ago sit in the 10/2-10/13 range.

What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today:

http://www.gottabemobile.com/2014/09/17/iphone-6-plus-pre-orders-shipping-early/

So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports. It really is a shame. I'm debating whether to just cancel AT&T and pay the $200.00 or so for the ETF and move to another carrier. They all work well in my area (Central NJ) except for Sprint imo. I've written off today as a loss as its a little late in the day receive a package at my office where I wanted it shipped so I can only hope for Monday or Tuesday. After that I'm out. It's one thing to lie to your customers and screw up their orders. Its another to tell your customer that they're lying. Really s****y way to do business.

Why is AT&T the only carrier that had trouble getting 6+ to preorder customers? Check all the other carrier preorder threads, we're the only one with a separate 6+ thread. why?

They aren't the only ones. I have read in the Sprint and Verizon threads, it's the same as this. This is an Apple issue. No carrier has any control over who many phones they get. They did however screw us early pre orders over but I have accepted that and I feel better now.

Nope. I've scoured these threads. Not a one. It's happened in previous years, but I think this year is "special"

Last Fedex truck of the day just passed by (Larger than normal)...no delivery. Oh well, life goes on. :(

Left turn at Albuquerque

Hey! HEY! Where are you going with my iPhone?!?!?

What would interest me is another tab and form in that spreadsheet showing similar data from those who did not get their phones. Add if there is premier, next or contract, etc.

I sent that link to Grace as well asking her to please reply...

I wouldn't be surprised to see my order somehow mysteriously cancel itself. Then they will probably put a hit out on me. I've been pretty active today on twitter.

I stopped by att store to just see the phones and ask if any magic trick made any more 6+'s show up. The rep said no and I told them my situation and the rep tried to tell me "none of our preorders for 6+'s were delivered today" I asked who told them that and they said management has said that. I let them know that was s complete lie. Do they really think flat out lying to us when we know they're lying is a good business strategy? Couldnt believe that.
