Tried emailing grace and got a Delivery Status Notification, ie the domain is blocking incoming emails now.
not surprised that's pretty much status quo for AT&T
I ma in the same boat as well...
Ordered at 220AM CST. confirmation came in at about 3AM CST.
sitting at the 2 Oct- 13 Oct window.
I think the fault lie with their eCommerce platform. It seems it was overloaded by the number of orders placed in the early time window. Instead of processing orders or just developing a lag between orders it looks like it cached orders until resources freed up.
as resources freed up it looks like it continued processing both the new orders being placed and the ones it had cached.
In short... their IT department needs to be handed pink slips for not load balancing and not testing prior to AT&T's biggest sales day of the year.
also be sure to include my screen capture of my conversation with Athina in your conversation. In general i have no problems with AT&T, i think this mess could have been handled better if they had processed orders in the order that they were received, and also communicated. I can understand if i have to wait... just give me an accurate indication of how long i would wait.

Is there anyone today who received their iPhone 6 Plus 64gig (whatever color) TODAY, and had no indication to expect it to be delivered today? Previous responses indicate that this has happened in the past, and I'm curious if that's happened today for the latest release. If you received your iPhone 6 plus, please give us details on if you had tracking information without using the UPS FedEx tricks we aquired here....
I just figured I'd throw my time/date/phone/etc... into this thread...
Ordered a iPhone + SG 64GB at 3:11 AM EDT after trying to get in started at about 3AM.
Received a confirmation email at 6:03AM EDT, then the text confirmation didn't come until the following day, around 11AM Saturday the 13th.
I originally had a 10/31-11/11 ship date... then it updated that Sunday to 10/13-10/22 (approx) and is now in the 10/2-10/13 bucket, just like everyone and their mom.
My analysis of this whole debacle is that anyone who ordered early until about 3:25AM EDT got the shaft and for some reason were processed behind people that ordered from approx 3:30AM - 12PMish (again these are estimates).
It doesn't really seem to matter when the email confirmation came through because I've seen early signups with instant confirmations on here saying they're not receiving it, I've also seen people in my scenario with the same sort of delays and confirmation emails 2-4 hours+ after.
I'm not going to try to calm everyone down, I'm pretty frustrated and will be taking my 5 family lines to Verizon when the next phone comes out, they apparently can handle preorders. I hope many of us receive the phones tonight by surprise but I know that's a real longshot, in the interim you can enjoy this super old iPhone 4 Youtube video that used to crack me up. I'm an iFan all day, but the satirical value of the video transcends my brand loyalty.

Good luck everyone!
Why is AT&T the only carrier that had trouble getting 6+ to preorder customers? Check all the other carrier preorder threads, we're the only one with a separate 6+ thread. why?

So all of these people are just liars as well I guess... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...1uph8WvElQfI2JxQvN1HSp2EVI/htmlview?sle=true#
I've been quietly watching from the sidelines since I'm relatively new to posting on this forum and really have nothing different to contribute to the conversation aside from my own frustration. My order went through at 3:27am EST (I saw someone on here stating they ordered their 64GB SG 6+ at 3:40 something and they received it today) and didn't get confirmation for 6 HOURS. I also experienced the same ship date bump ups as everyone else and as of 2-3 days ago sit in the 10/2-10/13 range.
What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today:
http://www.gottabemobile.com/2014/09/17/iphone-6-plus-pre-orders-shipping-early/
So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports. It really is a shame. I'm debating whether to just cancel AT&T and pay the $200.00 or so for the ETF and move to another carrier. They all work well in my area (Central NJ) except for Sprint imo. I've written off today as a loss as its a little late in the day receive a package at my office where I wanted it shipped so I can only hope for Monday or Tuesday. After that I'm out. It's one thing to lie to your customers and screw up their orders. Its another to tell your customer that they're lying. Really s****y way to do business.
