Is this information posted anywhere? Midnight PST? I've never heard this before. It sure would be nice to reserve one at my local store tonight and not have to rush tomorrow.
I'm just going to keep my pre order, the 10/2 crowd and chalk this up as a lesson learned. Never pre order from att, wait 4 hours for the apple store to come back up. Only reason I did this time was nobody really knew how the att iPhone buyback was going to work and I didn't want to lose $200 for my old iPhone 4.

Just tried to cancel my preorder
And AT&T will not let me because my order says preparing to ship. It has said that for an entire week, and I still have a shipping date of 10/2-10/13. They are holding me hostage for the next two weeks. I am going to the nearest store tomorrow and raising hell.

The dates moved a couple times. First forward, then back. I didn't receive any "Your recent ATT order status" emails for my wife's phone, but did get a couple for mine.
Still no phones. I ordered through Premier, unknowingly. I'll admit that I'm a little annoyed that others placed their orders for the same devices after me and they have their phones shipped to them first, but I didn't have high expectations for receiving it on launch day anyway.

i've been following this thread from the beginning, and i'm just done. no door tag today, no notifications, and at&t's $hi**y site still shows the same status.... 10/2, preparing to ship, blah blah blah bull$hi*.
no motivation to keep up on here... it didn't come today, and Lord knows if it will come next week or even the week after that. AT&T royally f*cked us over in my opinion, where only a select few got their 6+ today and the rest are left with absolutely meaningless, useless preorders that have locked us in to their trap (OK not literally "meaningless", but you know what I mean... right now, it just feels that way).
if they didn't intend on shipping any pre-orders at launch, they should NOT have taken orders on midnight that night, claiming it was a true pre-order. absolute garbage.

Get some sleep folks. If you didn't get your phone today, it's in AT&T limbo. Let's all do ourselves a favor and just wait for a confirmation e-mail or text to notify us that our 6+ is on its way, or cancel the order altogether to end this AT&T madness.
I'm pretty bitter not seeing any attempt at delivery today, and AT&T's reps' responses. Horrendous customer service. Definitely that last physical product I purchase from AT&T.

So I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus within the first 30 mins of pre ordering. In the October 2 group. Got upset since I was expecting it today. Happened to go to a bestbuy 2 hours after they opened just for the hell of it. Turns out they didn't get any iPhone 6 Plus. Got my hands on the demo. I guess I'm glade my phone didn't come today because I wasn't a fan of the iPhone 6 Plus. Don't get me wrong beautiful phone. Just a little big for me. The bestbuy had regular 64GB iPhone 6's in stock. Just ended up picking up the regular iPhone 6. Hope everyone that preordered their iphone 6 Plus and get it before the expected ship date because I was upset about that deliever date. I did cancel my 6 Plus order with AT&Tgood luck to all of you!
Only problem is that you will be hard pressed to find a 6+ model at the store, especially tomorrow. I'd like to be proven wrong, because in that case, I'll try to cancel because I still see the cancel button.
Well I am checking availability for "Personal Pickup" and none of the models for any carriers are showing available at my local store or any store close to me for that matter. So either the site isn't up to date or the Apple stores aren't getting any more inventory tomorrow. My guess is the site isn't up to date as I called the store earlier today and they told me they would be getting another shipment tomorrow...

I'll take the risk honestly. Where are you supposed to see the cancel button? When you check your order status?
That's what I needed to know. I'm heading into the store early tomorrow, will report what happens.
I am crossing my fingers but not really holding out much hope... I have a couple friends that got Verizon 128gb 6 plus today and 1 guy on AT&T... There just really isn't much inventory out there that I have seen. I figure the apple store is my best bet and if they don't have it, there is an AT&T store right around the corner in the mall that I can check. If not, I will just wait for shipping.

I just did a quick check of 6+ available for pickup at my local apple store and it's unavailable across the board.
You're likely better off sticking with your order. I'm thinking arrival by middle of next week.
Thanks. This makes me think that the November ship dates are more "safety ranges to cover themselves" rather than actual shipping dates.
I stopped by a Best Buy and an AT&T to see the models in person, they were both all out and didn't know when they'd get more + models.
