AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

you paid for a case only you are going to be charge for the phone when it will be ship
 
I ordered a 6+ 64GB Gold at 1:56 AM CDT (11:56PDT, 2:56EDT). My order number begins with 1626. Charges have been "processing" on my Bank of America account since I placed the order. My dates have always been 10/2-10/13 except for the time when it moved to backordered for a few hours on Saturday.
 
Is anybody with the 10/2 10/13 dates believed to get their phones by Friday?

it's really weird how you keep confusing facts for hate... you should see someone about that.

I'm glad you admitted you were wrong though, that's an important first step :)



Anyway back on topic with the adults... there's 2 possibilities here-

1) The ship dates everyone is seeing are real... and nobody, or nearly nobody, is getting their 6+ from AT&T on 9/19... most in October or November.

or

2) AT&T, a pretty large company that has been doing this for a while, still can't align their own inventory data with shipping dates 4 days after orders were placed



Mind you, I've seen more than enough incompetence from AT&T to believe the second one, but it's pretty embarrassing if true.


Doubly so that nobody working for the company seems to know which is the case.... (which is something everybody working for them should know by this point)



Oh, and mine (after hypen) is 1114 and ship date listed as 10/13-10/22... I ordered at 12:01 PST Friday night/Sat Morning.. space gray 128GB 6 Plus

You know. If u get a different csr than "Marissa" I would be a lot more prone to relax. That being said, for all we know that's a script given by corporate OR she is misinformed and relaying info which applies to the regular 6.

I assume you can understand the apprehension. Granted if we keep seeing things like this I may let my guard down. Now understand, should I do this and then the 19th comes and goes......... Ugh. Always better to expect the worst in these cases.

I'm doubting it. I have two on preorder with those dates and at this point I don't see a good reason why I'd get either one on Friday.

I go to the status page for this order and it says status pending with an expected ship date 10/02 to 10/13. But I go to the 6 order status page and it also says pending.

The interesting thing that is giving me hope is that it is now 6:50 and I've received only one of these notices, despite the fact both phones were ordered one right after the other. And this one notice is for the 6+ What makes it interesting is that two hours before from UPS My Choice that there is a package scheduled to arrive 9/19 from Apple LO35 NPI RESI.

Now, I do have a 6 and 6+ also on order with Apple (per my previous threads). I've received no notices from Apple, and when I check the order status for those with Apple I see no evidence of shipping.

With all my orders pending, it's a long-shot, but it might be possible the notice I received and UPS My choice I received are both for the AT&T 6+. . .

It's likely just the 6. Check your pkg weight.

She also told me that they were pulling in store invitory to send out to preorders. I had asked her if it would be possible to pick one up in store Friday morning. She had nothing positive to say

I believe the part about store availability, which is why I'm not about to cancel my order.

Don't think those numbers matter much either...
Ordered two phones, 6+ was ordered first at 3:03 EST and 6 at 3:07 EST. The 6+ (estimated shipping date 10/13-10/22) has 9109 post hyphen number and the 6 (launch day delivery) has 1114 like yours.

Why do you interpret this question as being hostile? Surely you know that people make all kinds of claims on the Internet, and many of them are not entirely accurate. A source citation is an easy way to provide more information about your statement.

My "status" at AT&T still says 10/13-10/22

But UPS my choice shows an iphone being delivered to me this Friday 9/19.


So yes it appears it's option 2- AT&T is completely incompetent in providing accurate inventory/shipping data.

How did you get this information? I am also a MYchoice customer but don't see anything and my expected ship dates are Oct. 2-13?

Absolutely. Initially they charge the card as ore authorization. It's federal law that you can't be charged for something until it ships (this doesn't include the initial pre auth). If our ship dates were really as far out as their website claims, we wouldn't have just gotten charged again. We're good!

After reading this I checked mine and the charge has fallen off with nothing going back on. I'm holding onto that image from the csr and if it doesn't come to pass - I'm going to Hollar to the heavens. PR mess like they've never seen :p

Felt good until I saw some people (myself included) with no charge now. Wtf

Okay thanks, I thought I was missing something but unfortunately the only thing I'm missing is a ship date and I ordered at 3:05 EDT...oh well.

There IS hope! Hopefully. I have UPS MyChoice and the Fedex equivalent and haven't seen anything on either one. My dates are 10/2-10/13.
