AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I have not yet received the email from AT&T -- I saw that it was shipped on the Order Status page. And all of my orders were placed before 2:00 AM CST on the 12th. This order was the next to last one placed & it's the second to ship (the first being my husband's regular 6). This one is a 128GB SG. The other 3 that are still waiting:

128GB SG - ordered first
128GB Silver -- ordered third
64GB SG -- ordered last

So what's the 877 # deal?

I call and it's automated? Do I have to dial in my order number and listen to the auto-feed back?

Just got back from the apple store with a sg 64gb + model. As per my previous post, my canceled att order only took a few min via chat. I do advise anyone wanting to go to a apple store to just order the phone online and choose pick up at store. There were about 50 people in line waiting to get in, but the store pick up line had 0. So I was in there in about 10 min. the other line hardly moved at all.

I cancelled my bulls**** AT&T order this morning at 7:00 sharp and quickly reserved my 6+ SG 64gb at an apple store an hour away. Got there at 9:00 and was the 1st in line for pick ups. There was a pretty long line to get into the store as a regular customer and they weren't letting them in until 10:00.

Got in, got out and best of all....I'm not waiting on the nonsense of AT&T anymore!

Yeah I just checked a bunch of Apple stores near me are available for in-store pickup!!
 
Called the automated line... 877-782-8870

My 128GB has switched from "Backordered" to "Processing"

My wife's 64GB still says "Backordered."

Hoping this is a good thing! (At least for one of them.)

seems like apple is sending the phone is waves based on size and color...alot of 128gig IPhone +'s are shipping for monday...and not the 6+ silver
 
Our Apple store has one of the 128GB SG available for pickup but you can't reserve an AT&T phone unless you can use Next or sign a 2-year contract. I can't do Next & I don't want the contract (I'm on the MSVP). Are you not able to buy at full price at Apple?

That's confirmed again that the tracking results seem to be fcfs right now. The only people who have gotten tracking are those that ordered prior to the midnight launch.

If anyone gets tracking who ordered after 12:00 PST let us know. The latest order I've seen is 11:56 I believe.

Both my orders were in before midnight, I am still waiting.

You actually can't do Next for in-store pickup. Someone had luck though paying full price at Apple store and then going to AT&T store to "transfer" it to a Next plan.
 
Unfortunately zero movement on my end. Called that 877 number and it says my order is processing. Called like 20 att stores and all out of pluses. They have a lot of 6's though lol.

Apple Store near me has a few + in stock but that's just taunting me because I can only go through premier.
 
No updates for us. Still says "Preorder Processing" with cancel pre-order button on the Premier order status page. It sucks seeing everyone's tracking because it's all coming out from where I live (Fort Worth!). ordered 6+ 64 GB gold and SG. So. Frustrating.

Apple has some 6+ available for in store pickup for Verizon and cancel AT&T (take that AT&T), and am tempted to order, but afraid they won't have enough or the inventory online is inaccurate. I also am worried because I would have to start over again on the page and do one for my husband.

Apple online inventory is accurate - you add it to your cart, complete the purchase, and then get an email it's ready for pickup. Nice and simple.

Is Next an option for you? According to what I've seen you can't use Next to pick it up in store :( I have one in my cart right now and it says Personal Pickup can't be used when using Next.

No what I did was buy it full retail and returned it the second I bought it and had them do a new transaction with a NEXT 12 plan. Somebody had mentioned something about a lag time for restock which may be the case and I don't know if they gave me a different phone then what was tied to my original retail order but I left with a phone on NEXT and ultimately paid the $57 or so in sales tax. If you have the funds to temporarily purchase for retail (it'll take 3-5 days for the money to go back in to your account) I had success doing it this way.

bought a 64gb SG + this morning.

You have to cancel your AT&T order before you order on Apple, buy it full retail, and when you go in and they scan your email make sure you tell them what you want to do BEFORE they sell you the phone and open the box. it makes it easier on them and they can still sell it to someone else as unopened/brand new. Also, this method may be contingent on them having 2 of your model in stock as I don't believe the sold me the same device. The online order/pickup sticker was not on the box I left with.
