It seems much more likely that charges moving from pending to posted would be good news, as opposed to disappearing completely. Disappearing charges might show up again directly as posted or they might just be gone until AT&T has more stock.

No idea why having the pending charges fall off would imply anything positive.

They fall off after three days. It's when they come back on, that's the good news. Like for me, charges disappeared at Midnight and my card was re charged at 4am.

anyone curious about weight

Thanks for the info. So now we have someone confirming their 6 at 1.20 lbs, and your 6+ at 1.40 lbs. And mine is 1.30! I guess I need to get back to trying to be patient and not try to figure it out. . .

I just got off the phone with Premier CS. My 6 order status website shows as PENDING with shipping 9/17-9/18 and my 6+ shows as PENDING with shipping 10/13-10/22.

However, the CS rep told me that my 6 is already packaged and ready to ship 9/17 for 9/19 delivery and 6+ quoted the same 10/13 delivery.

SO I hate to bring bad news, but it looks like the 6+ is in bad shape and the estimated dates are correct. I think there's still a chance they will improve as production is ramped up, but still not in time for 9/19 delivery. :(

Yeah, when they come back on that's the good news. That's what I wrote.

Sadly I think you're correct. I think there will be little to no 6+ delivered by friday to people who ordered through att

"STOP texting while driving. Take the pledge at it-can-wait.com"

Many of you should get this immediately and it should bring a chuckle...

If all goes as planned those with 10/2 delivery dates for iPhone 6+'s should start getting updates today and tomorrow. The corporate stores got there shipment tracking information, and there inventory list this morning, as in AT&T stores receive between 100-1000 via fedex and ups on wednesday and thursday. Some stores already have the 6 regulars sitting in there safes, and back offices. a at&t conference call with district managers also had speculation that the delay for the 6 plus, might of been because apple trying to keep tighter wraps on the 6 plus.

maybe that will put some of you at ease, it didn't help me much cause I'm still here, and i got the information directly from family at at&t.

Ask your family why other reps are saying the dates are an error and that anyone who ordered between 9/11-9/13 will have their phones on the 19th?

UPDATE: On ATT iphone 6 plus ordered on 9/11 @ 11:45a

Just check my order for my iphone 6 plus, order from 9/11 @ 11:45a, and it has been downgraded again:

1st status: shipping 10/2-10/13

As of 9/13 2nd status: shipping 10/13-10/22

As of 9/16 3rd and current status: BACK ORDERED

if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. :(

We'll have to agree to disagree. A) You pay the company a lot of money - NOT the employees, they're likely getting just over minimum wage. B) The company hires people who barely speak English and then gives them carefully scripted comments to respond to inquiries - again, not the employees fault. C) You try doing their job for a few months, taking call after call, complaint after complaint, all while barely making a living, and see how well you do not carrying one call over the next.

None of this is the employees fault. Not the fact the shipping dates are screwed up, not the fact that they don't know anything more than we know, or the fact that they're merely regurgitating scripted comments.

I understand being frustrated. If taking it out on someone who probably already hates their job and is not given the ability to do what they need to by management (again, not their fault) makes you feel better then that's up to you.

Remember - the customer is always right!

I think your getting caught up on the justification of the behavioral aspect of it. While I agree, being rude just to be rude is simply immature and disrespectful. You have to give respect to get it. However their is no excuse for a csr to treat you like a number. Ever. That is what they are paid for and if they don't like "serving" people politely and to their best, time for a new field.

Anyhow

Einstein wasn't always right, some random customer sure as hell isn't.

Back when I worked support, people wanted new computers because their old ones didn't have the new version of Windows. They didn't get them. They weren't right.

I just got off the phone with premiere support. Both my 6 plus orders are complete and in the warehouse awaiting a tracking number.

Pretty obvious to me that APPLE knew the demand would be huge but launched anyway, knowing fully that 99% of Plus orders would be back ordered like a mother. Shady to say the least. :(

I think we will all get ours and people are going to feel stupid :p. 1) We have alrwady seen several confirmed coming. Those who had outrageous dates just like everyone.

2) common sense would lead one to believe they would be able to field Atleast a days worth of pre orders or they wouldn't have bothered.

3) we have screencaps of a csr talking to two different people and each time stating if you ordered between 9/11 and 9/13 your phone will be there on the 19th.

Sorry but the burden of proof so to speak is on the other end. I'll go with the optimists this time :p

Every time I call I get a completely different story. On guy said take it to the bank that I get it Friday. And today they told me that there is little to no chance. I'm gonna go with your guy tho and be positive.

Some people have had that since day 1. Others who have had it changed to that have received shipping soon thereafter iirc. Some are interpreting that as a good thing as well. Don't freak just yet :p (though I hear ya on the bad luck thing lol)

YES!

We should rape their twitter! Maybe voice our displeasure by refusing our iphone deliveries?

They said " I have no clue where that information came from. wtf do you think i am customer support". then suggested specific support center might of been told to tell customers that, so they could quickly move on to real issues.
