For people trying to figure out order number logic, when I check my order on the MyATT app it formats my order number like this "289_4-9_109_###_###" (_ are spaces). FWIW. That's the non-premier order number that's formatted like "2894-9109######" on the website.

Man, wish I could get an update like this. I would call but afraid I would get no where. I'm not a premier customer and it seems that these are the people that are getting the answers they want to hear. Not sure if true but still.
Not to mention, keep an eye for your ship date to change. Our current date is in no way indicative of our current date as even my date has changed 2x yet the number has stayed the same.
To go even further - it could be that you and I for example, need to go a digit further. As I've said before all I know is it isn't the first four 😛
I'm going to assume your premiere or whatever it is?

How can AT&T support reps have NO idea whats going on as of 3 days prior to launch. That's insane.
I talked to another rep just to see if she gave the same answer as the first, and she told me basically all she can see is what's on the computer and if I wanted more info I would have to call.

I lol'd after reading this. This definitely sounds like they're just screwing with us, at least in this message.
I may try and call them when I get off work today, but I'm not crossing my fingers that anything will come of it. When I chatted online with a rep, they said that my 10/2-10/13 order will **** in "14-21 business days". Why would they calculate "business days" as the number of days in a week (multiples of 7). Anyway, I guess I just want to hear a rep say my order will be here on Friday....

They should never have a need to ask you for your password to access your account. I'd changed it.
My only question is that the agents aren't verifying much information when they give better than expected ship times.
Not saying we won't get our devices on the 19th - but I would think they would need to verify more information with the folks chatting with them before telling them their device would arrive on the 19th.
Seems odd.
Because AT&T the company doesn't know what's going on. They are probably waiting on info from Apple.
If I were anyone here, I wouldn't waste time contacting them. They have the same information as on your order status screen....anything else is guesstimating or potentially misinformation.
Only two sources have proven reliable so far on pre-orders: UPS My Choice and Fedex Delivery Manager
Anything else you're taking your chances. Trust but verify.
What will make me sad is when I start seeing people who ordered after me get their tracking.
I'm asked to verify my passcode every time I call, seems to be standard protocol.
all they really need to say is "hey we have not received our 6 plus shipment yet, we will have a better estimate in a few hours/days/weeks"

I was having to use the pay to upgrade option and I couldn't get through art at midnight. So I ordered on a different line from apple and was going to return my phone to att and pay it off and return it. Apparently I didn't know that I can't return it if I don't order my phone through them and order another.
Needless to say I wasn't paying for two next contracts so it took me like four hours to get to the apple site to cancel before I could order through att. Sucks I'd really like my phone to come before the end of November 🙁
