AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I ordered around the same time, do you know what options you pushed when calling 611 to get order status? Did you have to speak with someone?
 
omg my order is FINALLY changed from backordered to being PROCESSED...i haven't had any changes at all since 09/12 until now...128GB Space Gray:D

There's no rhyme or reason behind it, man. AT&T's preorder process has been so weird and inconsistent it's hard to track. I'm just trying to say that there doesn't look like there's any preferential treatment of one group over another.

I'm getting the impression that a lot of posters in this thread feel like Premier orders have been given priority. We're just the bulk of the ones that happened to have shipped today. Who the **** knows why.

Yeah I was really concerned with that at first then I heard at least one other person that the same thing was happening and they got their phone so that eased my mind.:cool:
 
Guys, My preparing to ship status just changed to in progress and under carrier it say Fed Ex. From what its looking like If your order says in process on the 877 # you should be in clear for tracking # today or tomorrow.

Non premier
Order date: 9/12/14
Ordered time: 3:46am est.
confirmed: 5:34am Est.
Expect shipment date: 10/2-10/13
Status: preparing for shipping just changed to IN PROGRESS!!!!!

No I selected the option of sales and orders, then order status. It's automated. You have to listen to a lot of automated stuff then the options will begin on the main menu. So the first option was option 4 for sales and orders.

My wife ordered immediately after me. Her contract was around 10:30 UTC. At first mine was Being Processed and hers was still Backordered. Within a few hours at most, hers moved to Being Processed. However, as yet hers has not shipped. Gold 64 +. I fully expect hers to ship today and be here tomorrow.

Based on my very small sample and the responses of others here I really think that they are shipping first come first served but based on UTC. However, UTC seems very random as was the case with my and my wife's phones.

I am also a premier customer and there may be truth to the fact that they are processing premier first. However, at the beginning it was completely the opposite with premier not getting any phones. But I can't be sure of that either.

I can relate to all your pain as just yesterday I was mad as hell. But it really seems like they are cranking more out and once you go from Backordered to Being Processed on the 877 number your phone is imminent.

Keep hope, if you are 10/3 you are next to ship and I haven't seen anyone go to something sooner, it just goes straight to shipped.

P.s.

I've also noticed that the majority of people who've posted on here whose statuses changed from backordered to processing via the (877) number have found that out either sometime last night or early this morning.

Has anyone who has been on backorder within like the past hour or so seen any change when they've called? I called about an hour ago and no change for me.

Or... For those of you who still may be on here and have received their precious iPhones already, did any of you still get the backorder status from the (877) number yet your iPhone was still delivered?

877 knows my number and gives me automated answer...866 lets me input number or order number then goes quiet...and eventually tries to transfer me. Is that right? Or is 866 automated answer too?
 
When I call that 866 number, I input my phone #..hear a bunch of bells, then asks me for my zip....input my zip, bunch of bells............and silence.

Same information for me, "being processed."
 
No change for me.

Ordered a 6+ 64GB grey @ 3:20a EST

Dates were late october, changed to 10/2-13 a week ago. Been that ever since. Last night called 877 went from backordered to processing. Still no tracking. Premier customer.

Anyone else?

Ok so the 866 number is more than likely correct?
 
Just part of those who ordered early (2:10 AM CST) but did not get email confirming (I am one of those premier customers) my order til 9 AM and a date in second email at 10 AM on 12th.

Started with first two weeks of November, now at the famous 10/2-10/13 black hole of shipping pending.

6+ SG, 128 GB ordered (with AT&T Next)

mine just changed 15 minutes ago
 
I am shipped!

877 went from "Backordered" to "Processing" overnight.
My ATT order status just changed to 'Shipped' with tracking number in the last 1/2 hour.
3:26 AM EST order on 12th, first email confirmation at 7:44am on 12th.

611 and 877 #s yield the same exact response word for word. I don't know how people can have different statuses based on the number they call.
