Which basically says it all. I think he is just telling you what it says online. I highly doubt all the other reps are making it up.
In other news my "date" has moved back up to it's original place which is 10/13-10/22
I'm roughly 50/50 on seeing it Friday and slowly but steadily becoming more optimistic. By the end of the day today, many of us will know.

Oh - I think I got your stance on the issue backwards due to wonky quoting. In that case... I would bet just the same. That being said I think it's going to become harder and harder to get people to see/call that bet
$1 dollar charge dropped from my account, however the tax is still there shown as Pending as of 3:11AM PST.. Dates still show 10/2-10/13.. As the 19th gets closer we're all starting to lose hope..
FWIW, the charges for both of my devices have dropped off - and the iPhone 6 has shipped (tracking number showing up on the my UPS thing - I'm assuming it's the 6 and not the 6+). Both are still showing 'Preparing to Ship' on the order status page. iPhone 6 128gb silver ordered at ~11:55pst and iPhone 6+ SG 128gb ordered at about 12:02 pst. The only difference between the two is the ip6 has the estimated ship date of 9/17-9/18 while the ip6+ says 10/2-10/13. Everything else (status, bank charges, etc) is identical.
Most of the reviews that I am reading state that iPhone 6 has better battery than iPhone 6 plus.. Example Cnet, NYTimes.. Not sure if it is actually true or they want more people to buy iPhone 6 as most of the people are going for iPhone 6 plus.. BTW my dates moved to 10/02..
I'm not seeing that, but I did check my profile and it now says that the contract on the iPhone 6+ line will end on 9/12/2016. That was definitely a concern, if I don't get my phone until Oct, is this line still eligible for upgrade in Sept. Apparently so.
This is good news. I was concerned about this to a large extent. At this point I assume we will likely have our phones on time anyhow. For those that didn't order day 1 however, I pity you

More like the chat session assigns them a name. I've spoke with the same person of whom used a different name. Also talked to different people under the same name.
However Athena sounds like either the same person for everyone, or her response is now a script which will likely be the same coming from any rep in her store or service area.
My head tells me we are all fine, but I'll be damned if I'm not still apprehensive and concerned

Then ask them to break from the script and be real. Not buying the dumb act. You can bet your tail most of them ordered an iphone and that they will be getting it on launch day.

While I may have a very twisted sense of humor, this is meant to be a nod to the contrast between us and the condition of the workers who slave to make these devices. I am not trying to dehumanize or make fun of them. Just a (bad) joke.

Feel your pain. I ordered two 6+ for me and wife right at 3:10am EST on 9/12, but ended up canceled both on 9/13 cause my original order showed shipping in 14-21 days, then that slipped to delivery between 11/9-11/27. They were able to cancel one, but couldn't cancel other as it's marked "Preparing to ship". I asked how they could prepare to ship something 2 months ahead of time, and they told me to expect it earlier, but they couldn't say how early. Checking AT&T website now and it shows shipping date of 10/2-10/13. So who knows. Still have to stand in line cause wife's was canceled, mine wasn't....she has + envy...
Pending charge still showing on accounts, order number ending in 8355.

Is their ANYONE here who didn't pre order at the butt crack of it going live? The vast vast majority i have seen were either right before or right after live.
I was roughly 430 central/730 eastern and I'm trying to get a bigger picture regarding movements. I know I ended up where I started after 2 moves down and 2 back up. I'm now at 10/13-10/22 which is madness. I expect it fully to change though. Changing enough to get it Friday remains to be seen. If not I'll be finding atts twitter and posting the img of each and every one of those reps telling us Friday and we were okay.
SO eager it's ridiculous really. Especially considering that going from a jailbreak to a locked up iphone is going to cut the things I use my phone for literally in half. Stinks!
I agree that this has been confusing and not communicated well but you think that it's madness because you ordered 2 & 1/2 hours later than everyone else? BTW 4:30 central is 5:30 Eastern. If I were you I'd be happy that I had an October ship date after ordering that late. I ordered at 3:05 Eastern and have ship dates of Oct. 2-13.
I think I've read every post on this thread.....lol....My expected delivery finally changed this morning or over night. Mine had always been 10/13-10/22 and it changed to 10/2-10/13. This is the first time mine has ever changed on the premier website. I ordered at 11:55PST 64GB SG +. If nothing has changed any better by Thursday night, I'm headed to my local AT&T store to camp out for the night. Oh, and my full charge on my debit card, fell off by Saturday morning and I have no pending charges since last Friday morning. They can cancel the preorder at the store. I'm not going not even full with it till then.
You ordered an hour after me same model and everything. And mine has not changed yet. So I'm beginning to think we are stuck with that date

This seems like the most common bump. I've been there for a while. I'm not expecting anything this Friday. More time to figure out a case.
I ordered a 64 GB Space Gray 6+ shortly before 3am on Friday. I had some trouble with my card and ended up having two orders showing up (technically the same order, though). After a number of days of going back and forth, my ship date has gone from the mid november dates to 10/2-10/13.
I have been very nervous that at some point in the whole ordeal, my order got messed up, as when I had two orders showing, one said "preparing to ship", while the other said "processing" and had the same order number but with a "-1" at the end, and of course the one that was "preparing to ship" got cancelled. Apparently, that is not an issue as the orders were really one in the same. Still waiting for them to remove the second $435.49 charge from my bank, though. Both are still listed as processing by my bank.
I can live with getting my phone mid October at this point, though I would love to be surprised and have it show up on Friday, though I think the fact that it is still listed as processing makes this more and more unlikely.
Also, the web status is not showing me any dates. This is all coming from a rep I talked to in a chat a moment ago.

I got a bump on my iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Gray. It was due to ship on 10/31/14 - 11/11/14 now it is 10/13/14 - 10/22/14.
Pushed back or moved up? IE: sooner you mean? I don't think anyone is going in the other direction at this point god forbid.
I think just about everyone is moving up. For posterity: 6+ 128GB Space Grey (7:39am EST) 10/13-10/22. That should cover it no? I'm premiere via a discount, and my hold has fallen off and hasn't come back since yesterday.
Also using NEXT if relevant and ordered using ATT site. Oh and order number is 1114. Think you got all necessary info from me kit there ya?
Reading things like this have to all but confirm they are either full of it or we should, against nature - ignore the dates. I ordered about 7 hours before your pops and have a later date at current. FML
