Why are these forms asking the shipping carrier if we have no way of knowing at this point who the carrier will be? Or am I missing something?

just talked to my coworker who ordered a 6+ 128 space grey. his ship date was always 10/13 - 10/22 and as of 6am this morning he jumped straight to shipped!!! saw it with my own eyes. im jealous lol

You guys are hilarious. Almost like conspiracy theorists lol. Nitpick if I ever saw it. First off, saying they already shipped could be misconstrued and if true in the sense your trying to insinuate would open them to legal recourse.

If we are being "technical" however - some have shipped. However they have to be held by the shipper until the 19th and the csr likely doesn't think or feel it really matters to you whether you know it has gone from them to the shipper yet.

Truth is, regardless of how long ago you got the tracking data - it won't "ship" until launch day.

Everyone freaking about ship times needs to slow down and use the brain evolution gave them as well. Thousands and thousands of these will ship the day before or even the day of. Ever heard of air mail?

I wouldn't sweat it so much. You have to realize the amount of preorders that were placed before your order time. I'm sure it will come much earlier but I wouldn't expect it in the first batch fulfillment.

You want to hear a conspiracy theory... I have this nagging fear that AT&T bumped us all up to 10/2 - 10/13 to keep us from trying to buy in store on Friday and on Saturday we'll all get bumped back out to mid-November.

I don't honestly believe that but I'm trying to keep my expectations low. And I really hope AT&T doesn't read this because I don't want to give them any ideas!

unlike the rest of us they order through an att business rep. before iphones come out the rep talks to the company about pre orders and takes orders so they all ordered on wednesday while at work. i have no clue when the actual order was put in though.

im new to the company. you have to put a year in before you get a company phone so i had to wake up at 3 am on the 12th and pre order. not fair but it is what it is

So there is still hope for sure. I have been Oct. 2-13 the entire time. Unfortunately I am still there for now. Let's see if things change throughout the day. I ordered at 3:05 Eastern. C'mon AT&T...

WE all have ACCURATE ship dates...
That's why the employees at AT&T are confused.. they don't know why people are calling about the shipping dates when they are clearly listed on their website for each order.
