I ordered in store, as for various reasons, I am not able to order through apple or att.com. I was told 2 or 3 weeks for delivery, which I considered very reasonable. It wasn't til I got home that I got the email that says Thanksgiving.

Not everyone ordered online.

Yeah. That would make me mad if they lied to me in the store.

I know.. they did it to me for the iPhone 5.
 
The 22nd is still over two weeks away. You placed an order and they told you when it would ship.


Yes, vote with your dollars. Personally, I'd rather have the launch delayed a week to have more phones ready to immediately ship. Same end result, less negative feelings.

Again, why would there be a thread 500 pages long if everyone thought by getting up at 3 am and preordering, they would get their products weeks or months after people who could just pick it up in the store.

They got up early so they would get them early. It wasn't because 3 am was convenient. Stop being argumentative and illogical. You have to work at ATT. Theres no other reason. Its a botched disaster bordering on flat out fraud. Everyone was led to believe it would be first come first serve. The email says it. I didnt even know premier existed. My perception and that of any sane person is, you get up early and order, and you get your product before those that didnt. period. No a month and a half AFTER everyone else.

I'm Premier (unfortunately) because i get a discount through my employer and i'm definitely getting a bad deal. I placed my pre-order on the 12th, albeit at 8 AM and not 3 AM. However, with Premier's manual order entry system, my official order date shows as the 18th in the AT&T system!! So my shipment window from the word go has been 11/9-27, with no change.

I pre-ordered last time (non-Premier) and received my phone on launch day.

Very disappointing, but nothing to do about it at this point, but check the days and weeks off my calendar.

I don't know if that is really the case. When a buddy of mine went to the AT&T store in the late morning of the 12th (as a consumer customer, I'm premier) his dates were also 11/9-11/27. I honestly think those were placeholders so to not give customers a false expectation and to cover their behinds. Unfortunately it looks like those will be our shipping dates, although I still have hope for earlier shipment.

I too am Premier but I ordered on the 19th after work... I have a 11/9-11/27 ship date from day one... Still waiting for early arrival... 6+ 128 GB SG.
 
I ordered on the 13 and am Premier - I have had Nov 9 - 27 since my first day with no movement at all. I ordered a 128 Silver 6+
 
Wow, lots of anger and angst going on. I'm annoyed with my order for sure, but the world isn't coming to an end, which is what seem to be making it out to be. That said, if my shipping window passes on by, I may have to revisit this post. :p

But I don't agree that AT&T offering up pre-orders equates to them guaranteeing a phone at (or even right behind) launch. Nowhere did they ever say that, and it shouldn't be on them that everyone is presuming as much. It's almost impossible to plan for this kind of demand. Heck, I remember reading on quite a few sites that the general consensus was that the iPhone 6 offerings were going to flop hard (even AFTER the official announcement)... yet the reality is that it blew everything away.

I'm more inclined to think that Apple just didn't have too many made by the 19th, and is staying quiet letting people point fingers.

I'm still waiting on my 128 6+ SG as a non-premier customer. I got my pre-order in on the 12th at 128a PT. I also did one for my wife (64 6+ Silver) 7 minutes later. Order of events:

- Pre-order 128 6+ SG @ 128a PT for me
- Pre-order 64 6+ Silver @ 135a PT for my wife
- Get an email from AT&T @ 354a PT regarding my order with a ship date range of 10/13 - 10/22
- No email ever came in for my wife's order
- Checking the order status page for the first week after had no changes for me, but my wife's was into the beginning of November
- Both of our ranges updated to 10/2-10/13 when everyone else's did
- On 9/27, we got notification that hers had been shipped, and she received hers on 9/29
- No update on mine at all... 877 says it's on backorder

As someone else said, the 128 6+ SG is elusive!

My director at work also ordered a 128 6+ SG, but he did it on Apple's site at ~9a PT on the 12th, and he just did the T-Mobile purchase (he's an AT&T customer). He got his on 9/25, so I know they exist :)

I agreed. I find the negative attitude more offensive than the delay in getting my phone. I'm disappointed but I'm still going to wait. Threatening ATT gets nothing done.
 
istocknow is saying that 6+ models might be here in time for Christmas lol - I am hoping thats for orders made today and not orders made before launch

Has anyone seen any movement or new shipments today? I'm starting to think that its only a weekly occurrence.
 
It seems that any shipping movement happens after about 3pm PST, for whatever reason.
 
Mine was about 8ish last night.

So were several others.

Might be the case if the post office is picking them up from AT&T everyday.
 
I have had not tracking movement since 9:40pm yesterday when IPhone 6+ sg128gb (Ordered 3:45am pst 9/12.) Left Fort Worth Texas. I just love how att uses 2nd day usps when some that got their phones weeks ago received overnight service.

You have pretty good shipping dates for ordering so late. I ordered on the 17th and have shipping dates 11/9-11/27.
 
Got my phone!

Ordered about 12:30ish (pacific time) on the 12th when I was finally able to get the ATT site to let me. 6+ 128gb SG, Premier and with Oct. 2-13 from the start for shipping dates. ATT shipped on Friday with two business day delivery.
Box arrived today. Right color, right size. Finally got it... Hopefully, everyone else's starts to ship soon!
 
Thanks to the istocknow.com site I now have my 6+ 128GB SG! :D That site rocks! Right before lunch hour I received an email alert from istocknow that my local Apple Store in Chandler had the 6+ 128GB SG in stock. Got onto the Apple Store app and verified it was indeed in stock. Immediately got on the phone with AT&T to cancel my existing order for the 6+ SG 128GB and restore my upgrade eligibility. I had been in the Oct 13-22 delivery window. Ordered the phone through the Apple Store app and picked it up during lunch hour. It took a little longer to check out at the Chandler Apple Store as the app wouldn't let me do in-store pickup with the Next plan. So I had to select the 2 yr contract purchasing it through the app and had the Apple Store do a return and re-purchase under Next when I picked it up. Didn't mind the extra wait. I'm so glad I finally have the phone and won't have to check the AT&T website anymore to see if my order status has changed or call the 877 number. Good luck to everyone else still waiting for their AT&T orders to ship! Definitely sign up for the istocknow alerts and jump on it immediately if you get an alert that one of your local Apple Stores has it in stock.

I just received another alert from istocknow that the Apple Store in Gilbert AZ has the SG 128GB 6+. If you live in the Phoenix area, jump on it before they're gone.

Nobody is arguing that this is a good situation. However, I am positive that the screen before finalizing my order did say that it would take something like 7-14 business days. I thought that was a mistake, since as you say, when you're up at 3AM to preorder something a week ahead of the launch, you expect to get it on launch day. But it isn't true that they said you would get it right away and then changed it. That's all we're saying. AT&T has botched just about every other aspect of this launch, and clearly they should've made the shipping estimates even easier to see since a lot of people didn't see that.
 
I ordered from Apple.com sep 18th. Delivery date oct 17 to24. I foolishly canceledy preorder, October 2, thinking I could get one at the store. I did I not know you can't do instore pickup with att next. i did some more Apple orders and cancelations which led to me loosing my upgrade for about a week and no longer being able to order from Apple.com. Just ordered from att today.

6+ att premier. 64gb SG. ship date nov 14-25.
 
Just spoke with a CSR at AT&T. I asked if I bought a 6+ 128 SG today how long would the wait be to ship. They told me 28-35 business days. I did some calculating. That's November 14-25. If I apply those same dates to my order (Sept 12) that would mean it would ship Oct 22-31. Yet my shipping dates are Nov 9-27. Doesn't make a lick of sense.

Then, when I went to ask them to look into this she gave me this (this was on a chat BTW): Thank you for patiently waiting, Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to answer that question, Since we are only specialized for Web Navigation, I apologize but I'm unable to resolve your concern for today.
