The 16GB is the least popular, ATT website shows SG with no wait, and silver 7-14 days
That's what I figured. Just wanted to check. I don't really care about the gb, I carry my mb with me everywhere I go for work reasons. So 16gb should be plenty for me.
So, I picked mine up last week. The battery on this thing is AMAZEBALLS. I played Doctor Who: Legacy for 5 straight hours yesterday, and the battery was still at 49%. With my 5s, the phone would have ragequit me at like hour 2.
It's still way too freeking big, but I'll accept it for the awesome tradeoff of a battery that will actually last the whole day.
Edit: hubby's 128 SG is sitting at the evil store waiting for me to go pick it up. I may make him do it when he gets home on Saturday, because I really don't want to see that manager again.

Just cancelled my order. Looks like it gave my upgrade eligibility back instantaneously. Contrary to what a fine AT&T employee told me on Friday...

Wonder if you cancel your order that you order via retention (early upgrade, 3 months early)... will the upgrade be reset to the original upgrade date...
Well after about a month and a half, something happened but doesn't seem like much. I ordered a SG 6+ 64GB on 9/16 and my credit card has a 'pending' charge dated today but actually hasn't been charged yet. I called the 877 number and still got the pre-recorded 'can't retrieve your order info'. So does this mean I should get a shipping date this week? I was always on the 11/9 - 11/27 window and am still there according to the online order status....
It sounds like you will most likely get shipping info soon, CC charge or 877# change are usually the first thing we see. congrats
From what I was told, they can override the pricing, but they can't override the eligibility dates.
So if you ordered from retentions on an early upgrade offer, you're kind of stuck waiting. Perhaps the retention stock is of a lower priority than the others? Who knows. One of my lines will be normally eligible on 11/6 and on that day I will be walking into an Apple store to get at least one phone.
The good news is, if you ordered more than one device, you can partially cancel an order.
Guess I'll wait... My actual upgrade date is 12/21 but was able to upgrade through retention on 9/26 and signed a new contract on that date... That's why I was wondering if I was to cancel it or it was canceled by AT&T due to errors/etc. would my upgrade date be reset to my original or the new contract date...
Hope the phone will ship out this week.
Well the good news is, if you don't get your phone by 12/21, you can walk into an Apple store on that date to get one.

holy crapballs! you are like 2 up from me on the list this gives me a shred of hope that I didn't think was possible for this week! lol have you checked your CC or anything to see if you had a charge?
Pending charge for $57.00 as well so does it look like I might get it this week folks ? I'm kinda afraid it'll go back to the "other" status now
I would say this is a strong indication as I have heard many other people say a pending charge for the tax is one of the first steps. congrats!
