AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Been reading the forum for awhile but first time to post. I ordered my 6+ SI 64g on 9/13 in the store & was given the window on 11/9 - 11/27. My fiancé ordered his 6+ SG 128g at the same time but his order was cancelled last week. Mine is on the Next plan, so it's already paid for (fees & tax) and wasn't cancelled. His dates got pushed out till 12/4 - 12/22. The website shows "Preparing to ship" but the 877 number says it is on back order. This whole ordeal is so frustrating!

It sounds like the same mess I'm in, att cancelled me 10/31 now have to wait until mid/end of Dec. #atthell

Att canceled my order. No notice and could not tell me whyI went to Apple website and did an in store pick up and got my phone that day. I will never pre order a phone again.

Still in preparing to ship as of today. Ordered 9/21, 128 SG with shipping on 10/29-11/7. I found 6+ ATT 128 available in Silver or Gold nearby. If I wanted to get this phone do I cancel my order first or can I buy the phone first then cancel my ATT order?

Do not, under any circumstances, cancel anything until you have your phone in hand.:cool:

go to the store that has it.
verify they have it. than. id call at&t and cancel the preorder while at the apple store

than buy the phone from apple
 
Ordered 9/19 through retentions
iPhone 6+ SG 64gb
Ship date est. 11/9-11/27

Noticed 2 pending charges today on my Amex for $1.00 and another for $424.99, just checked order status online and it says "Shipping Date:11/03/2014" :)

Just got tracking info, shipped via FedEx Standard Overnight will be here tomorrow!

I would like to know the breakdown of orders for each day after the 12th. Then, I would have a better idea about how quickly each order date would pass for phones being shipped out. I am going to use the spreadsheet that is on this forum and see if I can do that math...
 
I'm getting so unbelievably angry. Why give me a shipping window if they're not gonna send the PHONE DURING THAT WINDOW!!!

At MIDNIGHT I will be on day SEVEN of my shipping window with NO update. AT&T will be probably getting a call.
 
On second thought, I am not going to be able to do that math because it would be grossly inaccurate. The sample that I would be using would be nothing like the actual demand for the phone.
 
Well I finally got my phone! I saw that an Apple Store had a 128gb gold so I cancelled my ATT order for the 64 gold and made the 8 hour round trip to get it on Saturday.

my at&t account was already charged the 40$ one time upgrade fee so why am i paying it when they charge my card for purchase of the phone???
and no i dont have a 1 gig data plan. thats just what it says
im on mobilshare 15 gigs
will be still able to double my data for same price (ended 10/31 wasnt able to change my plan because my phone isnt delivered but at&t made a note on my account allowing me to double it once i get my phone)

So I ordered the Si 64G on 9/19 in store. after feeling frustrated I canceled with AT&T and signed up for istocknow notifications for my local apple store. In less than a week I have an awesome 6+ SG 64G in hand and am happy as can be.
 
Of course when I'm about to cancel my order at the end of the week, AT&T's website now says 21-28 instead of 28-35 business days on the 64GB SG.

Now I'm wondering if I should wait now. I'm currently on business day 10 now, but my estimated shipping date hasn't improved. Argh I don't know what to do.

I'd wait... unless you have an Apple store near you with stock. If that's the case, do it NOW! :)
