I ordered an iPhone 6+ Silver 64 GB on 9/20 and the estimated shipping date I received is 10/29/14–11/7/14. The date has not changed since the day I ordered it.

The wait has been agonizing, but it's great to see this group to know that I am not alone.

I would look realistically for movement around the 7th. I had to wait until the very last date of my shipping window for any update. Good luck.

Just called my local Apple stores. They say they have 100 people in line, people are freaking out about getting phones before the holidays, and they are advising that people KEEP THEIR ORDERS. Not sure what to believe or what to do at this point. I suppose I will have to investigate the store before deciding, will do Friday or Saturday. UGH.

There were around 25 people in line, they had an employee outside going through the line to check stock. They reserve that phone for you while in line. You can continue to wait in line or come back later that day. The phone is reserved until closing.

I went during lunch on Friday, waited 15 minutes to see if they have the phone i wanted available. They take your name and phone number. i called and canceled my order and came back before closing to purchase it.

IF this is true, it affected only 128gb 6+ (and maybe iPad air 2, Samsung Evo ssd's, etc.). The symptoms are random crashes and reboots, maybe leading to bricked devices. The seriousness will depend on whether it's any usage of that specific tlc 128gb flash memory chip, whether it is just the output of a specific manufacturing run, whether there is any drop in alternative chips, whether the board has to be redesigned to use another chip, etc.

yeah because retail employees always tell the truth lol

I just got my phone! Went to my local Fry's Electronics, and they had a silver 64gb in stock. Went next door to the AT&T store, and cancelled. Went back to Fry's, and purchased! NEVER going to "pre-order" from AT&T ever again. Lesson learned. Good luck to everybody who is still waiting.

After waiting 5 weeks I'm done crossing my fingers, all hope is gone. Time to take matters into my own hands.

I don't know if its gone; to be honest if the jailbreak window wasn't closing soon I probably wouldn't care since I have a perfectly functioning phone right now. But if I can go get a new phone on the 6th at the store, why not?

If I wasn't tied to buying from AT&T (through work), I would have gotten one from an Apple Store a LONG time ago.

yesterday. $441.94. 6 plus 64 gif
trying to fig out this $41.94.....
my at&t account was already charged 40$ for upgrade fee. going to have to call later

looks like the 64 gig's are moving!!

Thanks for the info! Mine got charged too. Waiting for the shipping info now.

A friend of mine ordered hers a week after the release date, she still hasn't received her phone. Anybody have any idea why it's taking so long? The delivery window for her around 11/11 - 11/21

So I canceled the AT&T order and had my sister pick my 128 gold plus up in store and had her mail it too me... Now USPS says it can't find my phone  either the phone or myself is cursed.... All the tracking info VANISHED!

Thank you. This is the info I need to go through with canceling my order. I wish I could go sooner than friday afternoon but got business until then. I hope it's really that easy. We will see...:)

because of my keen sense of bullshizz I called 4 different stores in my area 2 of them I got some call center not the actual store. So who knows. I will scope it out Friday afternoon and provide my discoveries here.;)

Ordered on 9/29 6 plus 64 silver, ship dates are 11/6-11/17. I check everyday since I was assured that I would get my phone by the end of Oct. Still on back order status and will continue to wait impatiently for the next 2 days before I start harassing ATT customer service. I just cannot believe how badly ATT has handled this entire thing, I have been a customer since 1983 and feel like the red headed (which I am) step child. Come on ATT don't make me dump you.

ATT has been hitting shipping windows for the most part since day one.... They might be the last day, but I think we will still see shipping within our windows...
DAY 5 of my window is almost over!!!!!

Thats odd I was told several times today you could not do next online. I'm going to investigate further. Thanks
Yep, looks like you can do that now. I would just feel better about going to the store first but if they don't have my phone in the color size combo I want I may fall back and do this order process. They(Apple) are also quoting 2-3 weeks still, I'm on week 5/6 with ATT so either way by this weekend I'm getting a phone.
Thanks again for the tip!

Confusing "shipped" email

I have been following this forum for awhile, and just registered to post.
I am an AT&T premier customer.
Initially I placed a pre-order on AT&T website for IPhone 6 64gb space gray on morning of September 12th.
Later in the morning of the same day I cancelled that pre-order and changed it to IPhone 6+ same color and memory.
Over the following weekend, I received multiple emails regarding both of my orders being cancelled.
After long time on the phone, a ticket was opened and on 17th my IPhone 6+ order was reactivated.
Through this whole time, various different ways of checking for order status on the AT&T website showed "cancelled" or "pre-order processing" or "preparing shipment". The 877 number said "on backorder".
Yesterday, the 877 number started saying "processing".
Today I got two emails;
One says it is shipped with a FedEx tracking number that shows my order is on its way from Memphis, TN, to be delivered on Thursday.
Another one that says my order is cancelled.
Since "shipped" email has a valid tracking info with it, I'll go ahead and believe that one, and hope for the best.
