To prove this point, I recently suggested to someone on here that had their order cancelled to switch to a note 4 or nexus 6 (which they could get quickly and general consensus says are just as good or better than 6+) and they outright refused. You can blame Apple and AT&T, but really we only have ourselves to blame.

Thx for the update. That really sucks that you had to reorder because AT&T doesn't have the common curtesy to try and contact you (and everyone else) to fix the problem before they cancel your order.
I added you to the bottom of the SG 128 list with you new order info.
I will be testing this theory on Friday provided stock is still up in San Diego. I'm done waiting. I would go sooner but I'm out of town on business.
Seriously there is nothing to it. When I went this past Friday to the Apple store, had to wait in a small line, when it was my turn, the rep came to me asked which phone I wanted. He confirmed they indeed had it and told me to follow him. Once he brought the phone out to me, I told him if he could just hang on for one second while I cancelled my order with AT&T, I would greatly appreciate it. Even though the the wait was 3 minutes before I actually spoke with someone, the apple gentleman was very patient and understanding. As soon as I told him my order was cancelled, immediately he was able to confirm it! Not one time did he ask me anything in regards to my account, other than my DL to confirm I was the authorized user and the last 4 digits of the primary account holder's ss#.
Cancelling the order with AT&T, he activating my new SG 6+ 128 GB phone, all done within 30 minutes from when it was my turn in line
BTW, just want to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new phone!
A lot of peoples orders went from back ordered to processing this week, I hope to see a lot more shipping dates today.
There is no excuse why people don't have their phones, who ordered in Sept.
I just checked istock and there are a lot of Si and Go 64's out there. Those phones should have been diverted to all the back ordered people, but NOOO, that would make too much sense.

No shipping for me I can't really complain I still have 5 days until my shipping window. I decided I am going to the 4 stores in my area Friday and getting whatever color + 64 or 128 they have. I grow, I smoke simple as that

I did the same thing. When I got to the Apple Store, they asked me what I wanted, I told her, she checked her stock, they had my phone, she took my name and number and it was mine till closing that day. That gave me time to cancel my order and run to the AT&T store and give them my phone. I had to hand in my phone because I was on the next plan and I was switching over to a 2 year contract.

for better or worse my 9/24 order was just dropped off by fedex.
Still waiting for charge on my 10/2 order. Wife is getting angry now lol. Mine was ordered later on apple.com and delivered last friday.
Nope. I live in an urban highrise and USPS placed mine inside my mailbox in the mailroom. They gave me a two day expedited shipping, too.
Same exact thing happened to me. They cancelled my order because of the Chase car Home Depot data breach. There were probably hundreds. Now new ship dates are 12/9 to 12/18 for my 128G SG.

My 6+ SG just shipped! Woohoo! Ordered on 9/16 expected 11/9 -11/27 on USPS priority mail. It arrived in Memphis and is expected here tomorrow (Florida)! I think it does need a signature which is why I'm having it shipped to my office.

Congrats! I'll have the same phone tomorrow, little worried about the signature thing as well, although a couple posts above indicate that none is required.
Mine was shipped via USPS and they never required a signature -- they just left it in my mailbox. Seems unsafe for those who have mailboxes less secured (e.g. neighborhood thieves)

last week on October 29, I got a message that my phone was shipped.
It arrive on Nov 1.

Yeah, I was surprised to hear this as well considering a good number of people ordered much earlier than 10/12 and haven't gotten them shipped yet.
