AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Seriously there is nothing to it. When I went this past Friday to the Apple store, had to wait in a small line, when it was my turn, the rep came to me asked which phone I wanted. He confirmed they indeed had it and told me to follow him. Once he brought the phone out to me, I told him if he could just hang on for one second while I cancelled my order with AT&T, I would greatly appreciate it. Even though the the wait was 3 minutes before I actually spoke with someone, the apple gentleman was very patient and understanding. As soon as I told him my order was cancelled, immediately he was able to confirm it! Not one time did he ask me anything in regards to my account, other than my DL to confirm I was the authorized user and the last 4 digits of the primary account holder's ss#.
Cancelling the order with AT&T, he activating my new SG 6+ 128 GB phone, all done within 30 minutes from when it was my turn in line
BTW, just want to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new phone!
At midnight I'll be on Day 8 of my shipping window. 10/29-1107. This is frustrating as hell. 2 SG 128 GB 6 +'s

I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 128GB in gold on 9/12, day of preorder, via AT&T Premier online. My original ESD was 11/9-11/27. I just found out my order was cancelled and was never notified by AT&T. I would have never known if I hadn't check the website yesterday. I called yesterday and they reprocessed my order and now I have a new ship date of 12/12/2014 - 12/23/2014 making my wait time over 3 months. I think I read somewhere else that this happen to another person. This is ridiculous. Was this done intentional to push our ESD back or was this legit? They said there was a problem with my CC. My card was one of the ones that apparently got hacked into a month or so ago so they issued me a new one. I think AT&T should have contacted me with the issue instead of canceling my entire order knowing I've already been waiting 2 months on it.
Anyone got a suggestion about how I should handle this? They were apologetic but not genuine.

Happened to a few people.... Nothing Att is going to do for you... Buy from Apple if possible, or wait it out

I've used the 2nd email with great success, getting a call within an hour. My issue was that no concrete answer was given to me as to WHY mine was cancelled, and the lady I initially dealt with at the President's office insinuated that I must not have had enough funds when my card was charged. After raising hell, I since then have dealt with another gentleman after sending them proof of my bank account. It looks a bit promising in my favor to get the phone in my original ship date.
Unfortunately, other ppl like you on this forum have had the same issue of hacked accounts and were told that there was no other option than to re-order.
Use the email, send an angry message, and wait for the call...it can't hurt to try!!

Nope. I'm on day 8 of my shipping window and the backorder bitch is still going strong.
Still backordered after calling 877#... Damn... and I was hoping to get the phone by the end of this week.. Guess I'll have to keep waiting and waiting...

Do you have a regular account or a Premier account? I am "blessed" with a premier account and my understanding is that I am not able to use the Apple Store. However, I have not been able to verify that at an Apple Store because my eligibility isn't there due to the standing order with AT&T.
Does anyone know successfully being able to buy from the Apple Store with a Premier accounts?

I have a Premier account and I canceled my order with AT&T, my eligibility was restored and then I bought my 6+ from the Apple store with no problems.

I have a Premier account and I canceled my order with AT&T, my eligibility was restored and then I bought my 6+ from the Apple store with no problems.
AT&T has done this to a lot of people. There are a lot of Gold 128's out there, if I were you I would buy from The Apple Store.
I had reordered my SG 128 on 10/29 after I was forced to cancel a previous order since my bank issued a new credit card due to some type of fraud somewhere. My ship dates now are 12/9 to 12/18. I did get an email update yesterday saying I'm still not getting my phone any time soon so that was nice. Apple, for having such smart people really screwed this up. No where near the inventory ready for release. I'm looking at a date that could be THREE months after the product launch. But they are arrogant enough to know hardly anyone will switch brands and we will be their bit**es and just accept the wait. Sure we'll gripe about it big time but they know we will do the same thing when the iPhone 7 comes out. Which should be about a month after my 6+ comes I assume.
