Ok add me to list. Ordered 6+ Gold 64gb on 9-21 with shipping window of 10/29-11/7 no movement as of today. My question is my local apple store has tons of phones but when I called they told me you cannot upgrade via next plan in apple store and only pay the tax. They tell me you have to pay the upgrade price only. Can anyone confirm this as an apple policy?

Best thing I did was cancelling and going to the Apple Store. A little bit of a drive but... I HAVE MUH PHONE! Silver (eck) 64GB 6 Plus! It's so pretty...
I don't understand the shipping window if they're not going to ship in that window. My window is 10/29-1107 and nothing has happened. But people with the 11/09-11/27 window are getting theirs.
Most did. Which makes this whole process even more stupid.
Lesson learned.

I told you a few pages back that since 9/30 my order has not changed status from "preparing to ship" online or "backordered" on 877# not sure why you are having a hard time believing that lol

Most people who have the 11/09-11/27 range ordered before you. Including me. And its frustrating that I have a way later (and longer) shipping range then people who ordered after me. Not that it is your fault, but let's not blame them for getting their phones before their ship range, when they ordered before you. I'm thinking that 11/09-11/27 was what they gave everybody from preorder to launch date, and then after launch date they could give more accurate shipping dates.

No change from "Preparing to Ship" on line, and "backordered when calling.
Also, I am Premier through my employer. I seriously doubt I'll see this phone before 2015.
Does anyone know for sure whether you can cancel an att order while in the Apple Store and have the upgrade eligibility come back right away so that you can buy in an Apple Store?
Was told by rep it takes less than 30 minutes. You can wait on phone with them until it's good to go.
Well no thanks to ATT, my 9/21 order for 128 SG 6+ is still in backorder with a shipping window date of 10/27-11/7. So I started looking at istocknow daily and low and behold I saw the exact same model in my neighborhood Apple store. Since the ATT store was next door, I walked in and politely cancelled my order. Walked next door to Apple and got my brand new 128 SG 6+ phone!
My wife ordered a 64gb SG 6+ via AT&T Premier. Got tired of waiting and cancelled the order one morning with AT&T. About two hours later she went to an Apple store to purchase a Gold 6, but was told her eligibility wasn't back yet. The Apple Store employee was _extremely_ good throughout the whole process and actually called AT&T, got the eligibility reset immediately, and completed the transaction.
Istocknow sending me tons of alerts all morning for various locations with the SG 64GB!!

Update the list! I ordered two 6+ SG 64gbs on 9/16 (AT&T Premier business plan), with the 11/9-11/27 shipping window from day one.
Cancelled one order (to get a 6 instead), and the second just shipped today (11/5) from Memphis with an expected delivery date of 11/7.

I've given up on my 6+ 128gb SG from AT&T. For just about the first time ever, the Apple Store near where I live had stock in the middle of the day, when I could conceivably make the 20 minute trip.
I have now picked it up. I have canceled my AT&T order. One more for others still in the AT&T back order purgatory.
