6+ SG 128, Ordered Sept. 19, Window 11/09-11/27

Struggling to maintain adequate dopamine levels, what with all of this checking the AT&T website and then seeing that my shipping window hasn't disappeared or changed for the better. ;)

Coming to this forum and seeing that there are new responses to the thread gives me at least a little boost. :D

I told you a few pages back that since 9/30 my order has not changed status from "preparing to ship" online or "backordered" on 877# not sure why you are having a hard time believing that lol:rolleyes:

To prove this point, I recently suggested to someone on here that had their order cancelled to switch to a note 4 or nexus 6 (which they could get quickly and general consensus says are just as good or better than 6+) and they outright refused. You can blame Apple and AT&T, but really we only have ourselves to blame.

That was me you told that to and it proved nothing.

Just because YOU tell someone to do something doesn't mean they have to go out and do it. If WE are to blame, why don't you be a martyr and get off this forum, cancel your preorder, and YOU get the Note 4 or Nexus 6 if they are better? Or are you the exception to this "problem"?

I preordered the iPhone 6 Plus because that is the phone I wanted. I have been using iOS since the original iPhone in 2007 with the exception where I switched to Android for a week(The original Note) and disliked it, so I was able to return it and get an iPhone.

My order was canceled. I had to reorder. Now I am at the back of line. Does it suck? Yes. Am I disappointed? You betcha. But thats just life. I don't NEED the phone, I only want it. I am more than patient enough to wait for the phone. It's only one more month.

What I don't have patience for is you believing your suggestion is the word of authority. People have different opinions and tastes. And just because I happen to like iPhone over Android does not mean I am the cause of poor logistical choices on behalf of AT&T and Apple.

I went to ATT store 9/23 and was told that I would have the phone by 10/15 but probably would get it within 2 weeks. He said that all orders would be processed first ordered first shipped. The CS rep did not know of the $200 trade-in for 4S so I went home and ordered online. My status online from 9/23 has been "Preparing to ship". I called 877# on 2nd day of my shipping window and it said "processing". I called 877# on 3rd day of my shipping window and it said "back ordered". And every day since has been "back ordered". Same story as many on this forum. :(

I saw that too and thought that was a little ridiculous.

Ordered an iphone because I want an iphone. There may be a wait, but them's the breaks. Just because something can't be acquired right away doesn't give reason to abandon ship and jump to something less desired.

Yep, this tread is for iPhones only. Who gives a crap about the Note. If I wanted a Note, I would have a Note.

I apologize for upsetting you with my comments it wasn't my intention or desire and I certainly never thought My offhand comment was any kind of command for anyon . Again I apologize

Tried to go pick up phones at apple store this afternoon after I got istocknow alerts, by the time I got there they were sold out this is only the second time the only store in this state had had 64 or 128gb SG and I missed both
 
Best thing I did was cancelling and going to the Apple Store. A little bit of a drive but... I HAVE MUH PHONE! Silver (eck) 64GB 6 Plus! It's so pretty...

Me too I've had it for almost two weeks. ATT sent me an email for a survey today. Ohhhh boyyyy

Been there done that. Unless you are on one of the coasts or a very major metro area, they are hard to come by. I'm lowering my ambitions to a 64 from a 128. But still gray.

to be honest, you may have better luck trying to score a 128.

I forgot to report that last Friday, I picked up my 64GB SG Plus!!! I noticed through my tracking, that they had it already at the post office for shipping the next Monday. Was I going to wait for them 3 days for them to send it to the store? HECK NO! I called the post Office, explained the situation and they said: "Sure, bring an ID and your tracking information" ... I was there in about 20 minutes!

Hang in there. It was a major hardware release, so it's somewhat expected, I think. I didn't put my order in until 10/15, and i realize there is a bit of a wait ahead of me, but that's the price I paid. If it's the phone you want, it'll be worth it.

If it makes you feel any better... I'm a former Genius. I'm used to having the newest and shiniest the day it comes out. I moved to another job where my employer buys my phone. Our phone guy swore up and down he couldn't swing us 6+ upgrades. A week later, he shows up with his in hand and then says oh look, I found a way to do it. Orders mine on the 23rd and lo and behold, here I am waiting still. Very frustrating. Keep in mind, it's just another expensive toy. It really blows to wait, but it'll come... and it'll be even more amazing, having had to lust after it for this long. I'm right there with you.

Yes that's what I did today.

I was able to do it today ..got my 128gb 6+ (wanted the 64gb but they didn't have it)

but there's 1 big thing to be aware of ..if you have an existing device on ATT Next you cant return it and do a new next installment ...the ATT stores makes you pay off the whole amount

so..be careful ..if you are looking to trade in your existing device on next your stuck playing the waiting game with ATT
