Here is my situation for what it's worth.....

Ordered an IPhone 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray through AT&T at 12:03am PST
Got my confirmation email at 1:04 am and text on 9/13 confirming the order
Shipping date STILL says backordered 11/9--11/27
I haven't seen any charge on my credit card
When I call the 866 number it says my phone has shipped

Last update on my order was September 13th

None of it makes any sense so I'm in the same boat as many others....
 
fwiw, i just called the 1-877-782-8870 att number and entered my info to the automated system and it said "sorry could not find your order" needless to say after i recovered from passing out, i spoke with an actual advisor and he was adamant that i would get my phone on the 19. (currently i'm showing a 10/13/-10/22 shipping date, and i ordered the iphone 6+ 64 sg 5 at 2:55am est) he said the shipping dates are very conservative and are done so they can't get yelled at/sued etc. I gave him my other order number for my account and he said that would also be on the 19. He said i should expect a tracking number by wed or thursday at the latest.

Im skeptical of this info, but i honestly gave him so many opportunities to soften his stance on the 19th release date but he did not. So....heres hoping he is right.

I ignored it the 1st time I saw what it was.
Serves no purpose except to repeat what is already posted here and certainly doesn't help in an way with delivery date since there is NO rhyme or reason but I see you are new here and haven't experienced it before.

Then continue to ignore it and move on. It's obviously useful to other people. Your comments as to how it's not useful to you personally are just adding noise. This is my last response to you regarding this topic.

Can someone tell me the difference between, I'm assuming, regular orders and premier orders? It's all first come first serve, correct?

I ordered a 6 Plus 64GB SG through AT&T Premier at 3:03am EST on 9/12*. Initial email at 7am that morning said estimated ship 10/13-10/22. Now its updated to 10/2-10/13.

I thought they would NOT charge until the phone shipped? I've been charged $541 already but my date is not until October 2-13. :confused:

It's an authorization. The authorization will stay on your account a certain number of days (set by your card issuer). If they actually bill you in that time period, the auth hold will be cancelled and the posted transaction takes it's place. Otherwise, it will fall off in X days, but when they actually ship it will post to your account.

Edit: Sorry, if this was explained before. I didn't realize jumped back to the 1st page in thread.

Nothing on my choice ups yet.. :(

No updates on AT&T orders either. Still shows 917-918 though.

I'm just hoping it shows up soon so I can change my delivery
 
My authorizations just fell off. Should see the transactions shortly. And hopefully and nice happy email from UPS my choice saying "Have Yo Happy A$$ home on Friday to sign for the Preciousses"

To which I say, woe is me, I won't be home :(
 
How do you see when your order was entered into AT&T. I know round about what time I ordered, but I am trying to find a solid number somewhere that shows what time they 'think' that I ordered.

Same issue here. Has anyone canceled their order? If so how long did it take to get your money and upgrade back?

yea mine has shown those date. no tracking, no mychoice

FWIW between yesterday and today. tracking has changed from "pending shipment" to "preparing to ship" and back and fourth several times. im done refreshing lol.

Ebika you're the exception, but besides that it seems like the people who have always had ship dates of 9/17-9/18 haven't been able to see their phones in UPS MyChoice, while the people who have later dates or had later dates that were then bumped up to 9/17-9/18 are able to. I'm willing to bet we were all some of the first to order, prob all of us before the official pre-order time, and now it seems that people who order after us are getting shipped out first. Hmmm...

Who knows? I think everyone gets a different response. This rep, however, pretty much stated that AT&T did not fill orders in order. Womp, womp. :) I have no issues waiting, but it'll be like Christmas morning for me when I do get it! :) FYI: Ordered 2 iphone 6+ - silver and gray.

Kathie: Yes all the orders that could be filled were out of order, the company didn't expect such a high demand for the I phone6+ but you will get the phone and an email will confirm the ship date and tracking number unfortunately that will be next month.
 
So are these phones that say preparing to ship with a ship date of 10/13 to 31st mean they're gonna get delivered on launch? I did pre order the 12th, my other order just got cancelled due to a weird eligibility error.

no one can say for sure, I hear mixed things about this. like this happened last year but came on launch, some didn't come on launch. if you ordered in the first hour you should get it. SG 64Gb 6 + is the highest demand so I bet some will get some and most wont. But we are all just guessing. When that money comes out is when you should be happy, cause that is like a drunk girl at the bar eying you, a sure thing....lol...
 
Hey Everyone, I just joined and this is my first post. I have been following the thread for a couple of days now.

Here is my situation, I ordered the IPhone 6 4.7 64gb space grey on Monday morning at 7:15am PST. Initially I got a ship date of 9/19 but since has been shifted to 10/13-10/31 since Monday (when I first checked the status). So I got a little peeved that I would be getting the phone a month after release. I ended getting a premier associate on Live Chat from AT&T and spent 45 mins to find out that my order has been completed and is ready to ship with the delivery date of 9/19! I hope this associate wasn't jerking me around!

Anyways for those of you looking for more information, I would try the live chat. Mind you I did have to get transferred to the premier live chat, but once I did, I got the information I was looking for!

Since I ordered the same configuration three days before you, I'd hope that mine will come the same day. Cause my page has the same estimated delivery date.

not really. i got my first confirmation at 4:32am EST (which sounds right as i was playing video games and then being hesitant to pre-order thru ATT vs going in store). im also on the east coast (miami to be exact)
 
So I ordered 2 128 Iphone 6 at 2 am central (12 pacific). Got the email saying that I should expect delivery on the 19th. Did the "My Ups" deal that folks suggested and "wella", there is my tracking number with a departure scan from Memphis with delivery on the 19th. Awesome.

So here is my question...I was sleepy and had them deliver the phones to my house. I didn't think about the fact that no one would be home until about 3:30 and as of now, I don't know of any neighbor will be at home. I can't re-route delivery where I work (Downtown Nashville) from where I live (Franklin about 30 min away). So I have an option of delivery, for an additional $5, to a UPS Access Point. Has anyone done this? My problem is when it is normally delivered to the Access Point (a UPS store). Should I have them deliver it to a UPS Store near where I live and risk them closing before I can get home from work (I work to 6 atleast, but often well past) or do I have them deliver it to a Access point close to my work, but then risk having to hang around downtown until they deliver it. I know I've waited until 7 or 8 sometimes on UPS deliveries at home.

Any advice?

I had this happen with the 5. I rerouted to stay at the UPS facility and picked it up that morning before work.

you can't ship varying sku's in order as you are asking. If all that was offered was a single model in a single color then yes it would be in order. How it is going now is everyone is queued up based on model, capacity, and color (18 total combinations for the iphone 6 alone). This means there are 18 different queues all of which are being processed in order which is how every company out there operates. No reason to process 100% in order unless you don't mind which phone you receive :D
