AT&T Pre-order status

Happy for all of you that have shipping notices and tracking numbers! I'm still in "preparing to ship" for my 6 128 gig SG ordered ~ 3:30am EST always with estimated ship date 9/17-9/18. No tracking or indication of actual shipment yet anywhere. Crossing fingers I get a shipment notification soon.

I just got a FedEx tracking number for 1 out of 3 orders. Wish there was a way to hold for pick up, FedEx sucks.

Actually, AT&T is the problem.

My wife got a new phone a few weeks ago that was delivered by UPS.

The option to hold for pickup or deliver to the local UPS store wasn't available like most deliveries so I contacted UPS to see why.

They told me AT&T didn't allow it, not sure why.

Don't give up all hope yet. There are 3 orders on my account. Two 6 and One 6+. All ordered about 3:05est. One 6 has a status of 'shipped' with a FedEx tracking number. The other two are still sitting at 'preparing to ship'

6+ isn't looking too likely for Friday, but could be sooner than you think

Haven't had any movement on my expected shipping date of 10/13-10/31. Except from that timeframe to backordered back to this time frame. Status says preparing for shipment, so I don't know why they'd prepare something for shipment almost a month in advance....Also, I don't have a tracking number on the ATT status page.

This kinda sucks...

Mine just changed! However, still can't find the tracking on Fedex....

Whats weird is that one of the two 64GB said estimated shipping 9/23 to 10/02 and now it says it has shiped.....Hope my 128GB ships soon!

my date for a 6+ 64GB gold has been 10/2 - 10/13 since Saturday as well. No change tonight. Ordered around 2:55AM EST.

Me too! I wonder if ours will change at all. Every customer service rep says that I should be getting it in the next few days but none wants to promise Friday exactly. I'm not bothering them anymore. I hope it changes and I get a tracking number.

It happens to me when I buy stuff on ebay. It just means that FedEx's system hasn't updated yet. If you have a number, that's a good sign

OK so now I have a fedex tracking number and it works. It was shipped 9/14, but didn't leave the TX shipping facility until yesterday. Guaranteed by 9/19. I am happy. No need to wait in line for over 5 hours and almost pee myself.

I preordered at 3:27am EST 9/12:

i6 16G Gold: 9/17-9/18
i6+ 16G Space Grey 10/2-10/13

I've not received any shipping info for either as of this morning. Last update was Sunday when the i6 date was bumped up.

I'm really wondering if i6+ units will ship this week considering many are receiving tracking for i6 but none confirmed for i6+ that I've seen.

For those of you waiting for UPS My Choice...you need to try FedEx. Also dont use the link that was sent with the confirmation...go directly to the myatt app..click shop ..click order status and enter the info...mine said shipped...clicked on the highlighted tracking number and this is what showed:

You are not going to see an iPhone 6+ on Friday I hate to rain on your parade. I would like mine Friday also, but it is clear that the first pre-order shipments will come October 2nd to the 13th.

Just found my tracking on AT&T order website - my 6, 64g silver is coming fedex on Friday. This is a huge relief b/c I forgot to put a suite number on the address (shipping to dad's work) and when I called AT&T to ask them to add it, they said they couldn't and that the order would bomb since it wouldn't be able to resolve the address. When I pointed out it said "preparing to ship - 9/17-9/18" she put me on hold and came back and said "oh, you are all set then..."

I didn't have a lot of confidence but kept my fingers crossed. PHEW!

Now we just wait for my dad's 6+ 64g silver [that I ordered before mine]...estimated shipping 10/2-10/13.

I think this time around 5 hrs will be an understatement !!!...Att is getting prepared by getting police officers on all of its stores...

My 6 has a shipping number and has left it's regional shipping facility in Forth Worth. I live in the DFW metroplex, so it's not like it had a long way to go. It's listed as Future delivery. So it'll likely get to the my local Fedex distribution center and sit for a couple of days for Friday delivery.

Can we start an Iphone 6+ thread??? To my knowledge there was never really an issue with the Iphone 6 it is the 6+ that has the issues. No hate towards the Iphone 6 peeps, but just sucks have to filter through posts and getting false hopes only to see it is the Iphone 6 that has shipped lol!

Does anyone know if I can pre-sign for the package through FEDEX? I have delivery manager but the "customize delivery" button is grayed out.
