AT&T Pre-order status

Same here 128gb iPhone+ Silver moved up to 10/2-10/13. The other one: 16gb iPhone Gold has shipped via FedEx as of early this morning.

I called AT&T and they cannot update/change the credit card that will be used to charge, even though the order hasn't gone out yet. The rep said that if it gets denied (the CC), they will just cancel the order and not contact me.

I called my credit card company and they said since AT&T did a pre-authorization (which they still show pending in their system), there is a very good chance the system will still let AT&T charge my old credit card number since it was tagged as a valid charge.

I guess I'll know once AT&T attempts to charge and ship.

Either way, the IP6 SG 64GB is still 7-10 business days out, so it's not a huge deal if I don't get it right on release date.

In fact, if they do cancel the order, I plan on heading down to the AT&T store on Saturday (which I know will be crazy) to just look at the phones in person.

To my surprise, there is a fedex tracking # and it shows it's still in Ft. Worth, Tx for a 9/19 delivery date.

My CC hasn't bee charged in full, so I won't believe it until the phone is in my hands. I wouldn't be surprised if AT&T recalls my package LOL

Just an FYI to everyone. The Fedex page shows that my package was picked up on 9/14. So for those of us who get our packages by Fedex, it's been in Fedex's hand all this time.

iphone 6 plus 64 gb silver

Ordered both my 6+'s 64 gb silver on 9/12 at 2:59 am and 3:03 am Both premier and my ship date has changed to 10/02 to 10/13 as of this morning !
 
Shipped!

So this morning, I received an email from AT&T that my order has been shipped! Coming via Fedex. I am EXCITED!!!

How'd you find out it shipped via FedEx? Track by reference? What's the reference?

Mine is almost identical to this except it was picked up by FedEx at noon on Saturday. Normally my packages automatically appear in my FedEx account but not this one.

They evidently had it blocked.

Does anyone find it odd that shipping was way earlier than when they notified us? It could have alleviated a lot of worry for us if they would have just given our tracking number when they actually got the info. My P6 silver 16gb was shipped on 9/13 but only this morning getting the tracking info.

My 2 6's (silver) have tracking numbers now. One is 16 the other 64. My space gray is still awaiting one. Supposed to shop today or tomorrow though. When I check fed ex they have no tracking numbers on file. So I'm sure they will be picked up today.
 
I got an email this morning from AT&T:

Due to the high demand, your iPhone is not yet available for shipment. To check the progress of your order, please visit att.com/wirelessorderstatus and use the order number above along with the shipping zip code.

When I check the order status it is still "Preparing to Ship. Estimated ship date: 09/17/14-09/18/14"

Super frustrating to place an order 5 mins after preorders start, get an order confirmation via email immediately, and then be told they can't fulfill it.
 
Anyone who have a later (october or so ship date) that got a tracking number at all? Just curious. Seems to be the people with a 9/17-9/18 ship date only

Agree, it would have definitely meant less time checking the AT&T, UPS and FedEx websites since Friday.

I don't remember from past preorders seeing that the phones were actually picked up by the carrier that far in advance of the delivery date.

Yep. Same thing every year.. :).. People have such short memories. The iPhone 5 purely for demand of its redesign.. Same thing.. The Gold 5S last year.. Same thing.. There's a. 15,000 post thread about this same issue with the Gold 5S from last year about AT&T delivery dates.

FedEx or UPS, all they had was the shipping order info. The actual phones were never there.

They actually picked mine up on Saturday.

I just got a FedEx tracking number for 1 out of 3 orders. Wish there was a way to hold for pick up, FedEx sucks.
 
Ship Date Looking Better

Hi everyone. New to the forums. *fist bumps all around*

I preordered two 6+, one gold for my wife, and one space gray for me, both within minutes of AT&T's website going live. My original ship date was around 11/3 and my wife's was around 10/31. We've both seen bumps since pre-order morning, with both of ours showing

Preorder Processing
Expected Ship Date: 10/02/2014 To 10/13/2014

I'm hoping it continues bump forward and maybe we'll receive them on Friday! If not, it's looking better than it was originally. Next time I'll just stick with the Apple Store App
 
Sooo my dates went from 10/31-11/11 to 10/2-10/13. That makes me a lot happier! I hope it changes even more! I ordered the Plus 64GB in Gold. I really hope to get it at least this month!!
