AT&T Pre-order status

Date You Placed Your Order? September 12th at 3:45AM EST
Which Model You Ordered? iPhone 6 16gb Space Gray
Estimated Shipping Date AT&T Provided to you? Septmeber 17th or 18th
Most Important of all; Did You get Your Tracking Number Yet? Unfortunately, no. :confused:

Probably. Elsewhere on the AT&T site is states that an order can't be cancelled once it has been processed.

I cancelled my initial Apple order very easily(changed my mind from 6 to 6+). One click of a button and then it's cancelled. Next time I will be ordering straight through Apple, even if my phone shows up tomorrow.

Does ATT require a signature for UPS delivery? I mean in person.

I know that Apple allows Fedex to opt out.

Anyone?

I had read that Apple does, and UPS gives an option to opt out. Not positive on that though.
 
I was told that my phone wold be here some time from the 23rd to the 2nd. But now fedex has it and it will be here by 8:00pm tommorow. :D:D:D
 
Relative calm before the storm

People are anxious but excited right now. That will be replaced by complete rage in a week or two after the lines die down in the stores. They'll walk into an AT&T store, be told there is inventory, and then be told "no soup for you", you have to wait for your pre-ordered iphone. Then they'll hear and read about all the people walking into the Apple Stores and picking up their new phones with no wait. Again, it will be "no soup for you". Been there, done that. And might be again since I panic ordered through AT&T again when the Apple Store was down. Let's hope Apple does the right thing and gives AT&T a good supply of phones this time around. Ultimately, they control the inventory flow.
 
For those of you with october ship dates

For those of you with October ship dates STILL and have NOT received any tracking information:

When you click on upgrade status, does it say "ends September 12, 2016"?

For a long time, mine had never really updated the dates.

Did anyone else compare and check this over the last couple days until now? And what does your date say now?

Note: It only gives me this information when I check upgrade status through the AT&T app.

im on next but i chose next 18, they updated my contract to not end until 2016 and its been updated for about 4 days now but no tracking or shipped notification, just preparing to ship :mad:

Yeah, I chose NEXT 18, too. They updated the contract date to the 9/12/16...and I don't think they had done that prior to the middle of the night. If I don't see an update soon, I'll definitely try my luck at an AT&T store around here. There's a ton in a 3 mile radius. lol...

I just hope AT&T will let me cancel it and return my upgrade immediately. :/

Oh, AND my dates are 10/13-10/22 - what are yours?
 
Upgraded 2 ip6, one showed shipped and other showed shipping sept23-oct2, this morning they both show shipped

My upgrade status does say Sept 12 2016, I signed up for the 12 month plan though? Ordered 128gb 6+ gold no tracking yet.

10/13-10/31 are my dates, I ordered 9/12 at 11:55 am PST. Seems like they are just randomly popping up with tracking info. Mine has been stuck in preparing to ship since the 12th. Really hope it's just a system stall and I've got a tracking number waiting for me later. Trying to stay up and wait for it after all these people are getting theirs, but I'm falling asleep lol.
 
Update!

Hey everyone.

Ordered my IP 6 64gb Space Gray on 9/12 around 8:30 PM EST. When I ordered it, it said shipping Oct 13-31. Which was whatever. Got a text saying order was processed and sent to warehouse for shipping on 9/13. on 9/14 it said backordered online for a few h ours, then back to t he Oct 13-31. I checked it over and over.

Checked this morning and it said shipped with a scheduled delivery of 9/19! However it is shipping to my parents house since I'm in school, so I won't get it until my dad visits on the 21....but I'm still getting it! I guess there is hope for those who ordered with a preorder

LOL! I hear you. I ordered around 4 AM PST...and have the same dates as you do. Siiigh, hopefully we'll hear something today. :D
