Hi everyone. I ordered the 6 plus and my order days ship date is in October. I've checked fedex and ups and no tracking number. I doubt I'm going to get it on Friday. So my question is if I got to an att store to try to get it on Friday and I cancel my online order in the store once I know I'm guaranteed a phone will the cancellation be immediate and allow the upgrade in store

The reset in the contract date usually takes a day or two to reset. They may be able to manually override in store though
 
seeing movement in the DFW metroplex. interestingly, one of my orders is coming from RLC and one from ATT. Same address. and both weighing in at 2lbs. isn't that awfully heavy for 1 phone?
 
Just got off the phone with a rep and said they have absolutely no stock of any 6+'s from Apple and they said delivery dates will be pushed back to sometime in December.
 
Wonder if I actually have a chance at getting it tomorrow. My ship date is pretty late though 10/13-10/31 and I ordered at 11am because my first order from 12:00am got cancelled.
If you ordered on the 12th you probably have a good chance. I ordered about thst in the AT&T store at that time 6 (64) and mine is on its way for tomorrow.

Mine is too but I have to return my old phone but I can't see that weighing (the return box) so much. But who knows? :rolleyes:
 
My card was charged in full for 64g plus. I ordered 3 am est on Friday. Dates went from end of November!! And now beginning of October. However, being that my card was charged what are your thoughts?

I too have seen the return of the "cancel button". Premier Customer Site @ AT&T. Ordered at 3:05AM on 9/12 EST. Have watched shipping dates go from 2- 3 weeks to Late November to now a consistent 10/2-10/13. I'm going to wait it out....and if my need for having a new toy on 9/19 overwhelms me...I'll be in line tomorrow like everyone else...feel I can probably get a 6 on one of my other lines with no trouble...

They always do an authorization for the full amount, when the order is processed. That authorization expires after a few days and the money goes back on the card. Then it will be charged again when the order gets shipped.

My IPhone 6 64GB Space Gray just got a tracking number and will be here tomorrow.

I placed the order through Premier at 11 am CST on the 12th. I was charged immediately with three one dollar charges and the full price of phone. At some point these charges were dropped. Initially I had 10/13/-10/31 then was bumped to 9/23-10/2. I woke up this morning to find a tracking number. It shipped yesterday and will be here tomorrow. I like live in a suburb of Chicago

Side note : charges have not yet showed back up on my card.

Premiere and tracking number

Did you go through premiere? A rep told me when I called that it can't access the tracking numbers from premiere orders...I have been getting backorder as well all week.

Just spoke to a Premiere rep and she told me the same thing, cant provide a tracking number. The interesting part was that she did tell me that I would get my phone by tomorrow. Weird how she can say that w/o having a tracking number. Only time will tell. I can see myself calling before 10 PM ET (closing time for reps) on Friday asking where my phone is. :(

I've had a tracking # since the 15th and I've been coming to this thread multiple times per day, lol
 
No way - if you ordered on the 14th.. Gotta see proof of that on your documentation or consider it a lie.

It was an iPhone 6 16GB phone...doesn't really surprise me. Honestly - I have a hard time understanding why anyone would order the 16GB phone - I suspect those are easy to get a hold of leading up to launch. It is the 64GB and 128GB phones (especially the 128GB 6+ like I ordered) that are in short supply due to higher demand.
 
wtf??? I ordered on the 12th and still have no tracking number, shipping still shows 9/23-10/2, and haven't been charged, yet. This makes no sense at all.

That was my time frame as well. But last night around 5 pm I got an update that my iPhone 6 (64) had shipped and will receive it tomorrow (Friday)
 
My FedEx status changed from being in tx since Sunday with a delivery on 9/19 by 3pm To Shient Info received and a delivery of 9/19 by 8pm.
There goes my entire Friday...
 
For those going on the premiere site and noticing that they can cancel their order, I decided to final call. The agent stated my shipping dates are in range (blah) 10/2 to 10/13...I asked about canceling the preorder he looked into it and said no since it is at the warehouse "So this is a good thing you may get it earlier." He then again explained how these are just estimates, so who knows what is going on. I am done looking! Good luck everyone!

That wasn't true for me, I orignally ordered on ATT cancelled my pre order and put an order in on Apple. The upgrade reset instantly. I did this with three lines too. Maybe if you cancel your order online it takes awhile to reset but if you call and have an agent cancel your order your upgrade resets right away
