AT&T Pre-order status

A lot of us ordered from our carriers because apple website and app were down. I couldn't access either one and I immediately placed an order through att. It went by so fast I thought I missed something. I tried 1-2 hours after placing an order with att and still had no luck.

Again, lining up at the store is a preference. Not all of us want to do it or can't do it.
 
Anyone with pending shipping with 9/17-9/18 dates still without a tracking number on a 6??
 
When did everyone order?

I ordered a 6 Plus 128gb at 11:45 PST because the AT&T site opened early, I have mine pinned for delivery tomorrow, as well as a tmobile 6 ordered from the Apple website. What is everyone else's experience? My delivery dates were originally late october put were pushed up and the device was shipped yesterday.:):apple:

Or some of us are on Next and AT&T's horrible website is the only option.

my order was placed through att small biz site i dont know if that made any difference or not

I don't know for sure, but I've never experienced either UPS or FedEx delivering anything to a home before 9:00AM. I have seen business deliveries ~8:30AM.

The ol' I'm not happy so it's illegal rationale. LOL. No, that's not how laws work. We're all unhappy with ATT but don't be melodramatic.

Look not being melodramatic just passing on what an e com rep told me she volunteered the information I didn't ask if it was illegal

Ok, here something to think about if you are getting or planning on ordering an iPhone 6+. It's about the optic stabilizing sensor. As this is the 1st iPhone with a moving sensor, how will it stand up to single or multiple drops. I know on pocket cameras with this technology it will knock the focus off to require repair or replacement. My iPhone 6 (16gigs, space grey) will arrive on launch day by FedEx.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that somewhere in the agreement we all probably clicked right through in our effort to get the damn thing ordered it says that we wont be compensated for any loss of business or anything else should things go terribly wrong.

They'll say they're awfully sorry and thanks for choosing AT&T but they are in no way obligated to compensate us for anything.

Now, maybe, if you call after you get your phone, and pleasantly say how disappointed you were in the time it took, and oh my, what wonderful shoes you're wearing! Have you done something new with your hair? Positively fetching! Is there anything that can be done about that delay?

...maybe, just maybe, they'll throw you a billing bone. Many of us here have worked customer service at some point and we're always willing to go the extra mile for someone being sweet but we slam the door down hard on those that come at us angry for something we had nothing to do with.

Using that logic, apple is guilty too since they did not start selling them for between 30 mins or 3hrs after that time due to the store crash. In the end does it actually matter. I doubt neither apple or att is going to worry since they both are making buying a small country money on the release and customers are happy (well at the time, maybe not now).

I feel a class action lawsuit coming... how do you think people got the free cases or phone bumpers from Apple when they had antenna gate problem??? lol
 
This Has Been So Fun!

Some of you belong on a comedy stage somewhere...really! Some of these comments truly have me laughing out loud! Thanks for keeping the mood light to those of you who have tried to do so. The folks that have said "in the end it is just a phone" are 150% correct! Obviously We're all on this thread because it's a REALLY GREAT phone but it's good to keep things in perspective. I ordered my 64 G gold 6 on Sunday, so I'm not even hoping for tomorrow, but it's all good. I can wait. Until then, thanks for the smiles!
