AT&T Pre-order status

Just wanted to update this, I ordered a 6+ at 3:14AM and it's got dates of 10/2-10/13. I had to order just a 6 for a co-worker at 2:15PM on the 12th and I just got notification that the 6 is shipping.

I just think Apple woefully underestimated the demand for the 6+.

I am on travel for work and won't get my iPhone till mid of Oct. My plan was, once I found that out, was to go to the AT&T store on launch day and pick one up by getting in line early and have them cancel my previous order. I just drove past the AT&T store and the parking lot is full, there is about 10 people already lined up with countless others just sitting in their cars.

At this point... I have no idea what to do. I keep reading all these reports from various managers and companies saying how few 6+ they are getting. Should I give it a shot and head there around 4-5am or just say screw it an wait a month and a half.

Edit - my iphone 5 hardly works and can't really hold a charge anymore so a new phone for me isn't just to have the latest and greatest... i actually need one.

I don't have a phone at all if rather have one that doesn't really work while I wait for this one but no I just get to be sad #

production issues buddy. It's been reported alllll over the place. I was actually surprised when apple said they would both launch at the same time.

I agree only because those who actually waited till 12:01 are getting penalized the most because AT&T illegally sold phones early as in before 12:01 pst and ****ed us all

I have the same delivery dates and mine hasn't shipped 6+ 128 space gray 12:09 pst

Wont happen and technically they didn't really break the law or anything. It's my fault for not checking the site early and setting my alarm for 11:58...

Oh please. What is not having the phone on launch day costing you monetarily? Nothing. Nobody owes you or anyone else anything because your phone is shipping later.

Someone may have said this already, but it seems AT&T turned the ordering on a little early. I logged in at 1:50am CST (10 min. before I SHOULD have been able to preorder) and was able to order a 64GB Grey 6+. My original shipping time said 14-21 business days, but I've since received an update saying shipping between 10/2 - 10/13

I have an even later delivery date and no confirmation either. No idea if we'll even get ours. AT&T rep quite a few pages before this said those who ordered 9/11 to the 13th will get theirs the 19th, and their systems are just really backed up.

Well I was told by an E com representative that in fact ordering before the posted launch date is illegal and should not have been done at all those are the people that actually know everything about shipping and online order stuff they are e com

I think that a lot of people have underestimated the size of the 5.5" and will end up returning them. That's not helping the 5.5" shipping stuation. Some only want the phone because they think the 5.5" will give people the impression that they own the "elite" phone.

Unfortunately, for them, they may find that the replacement smaller phones aren't in stock anymore, so. Live and learn. Can't wait to read the stories! You know it will happen!

A date imposed by Apple for a product release is not a law.
 
3 planes heading to destinations by 12am. There is a GLIMPSE OF HOPE. The VERY Last one. But yeah. I kinda gave up
 
I had trouble with att premiers web site so i didnt get order completed till around 1pm for 2 6+ space gray 64gb. So they gave me a estimated ship date was for 11/9-11/29 but i got a email today saying that they both shipped and will be delivered by fedex tomorrow before 8pm

i had my order in at 11:50am Pacific time, My sister had hers at 11:55am Pacific time. We both had the same shipping dates for 10/2-10/13 but she got her tracking on tuesday morning. Im still waiting and hope i get good news in the moring
 
I don't know if anyone asked this question yet but it seems pretty relevant. What time (locally) would UPS and FedEx start delivering phones? Like say your are the first stop in the morning, what's the earliest you could get your phone tomorrow?

That gives me hope, though mines a 6 🙁 I didn't order cause the att store lady had mentioned the + wasn't gonna be here till nov-december. I should've just placed it.. lol. Oh well. I'll try to walk into a store everyday the next 2 weeks to swap it out for a Plus.

I'm really happy for you and I mean that but it also makes me upset that I ordered at 5 mins after the presale time and you got tracking information. Not only myself but many others. That's what makes this whole thing very frustrating.
