Talked to yet another rep... arg... I got the 64 6+ model and am stuck with the 10/2-13 date.

She said she can cancel my order still so it's obviously not shipped. Guess I'll be getting to the AT&T store way early.
 
I have done my homework, but nothing indicates right now that we will all get our phones. Right now it says 10/2 and it has said that the entire time.

Right. As I said earlier, with the 4s mine said pending the whole time. No date no anything yet the phones showed up on launch day.

The option is there to cancel it but they don't really know if it can be cancelled or not till they hit the button. That is how screwed up their systems are. That's what a rep told me. She said she tried canceling a few orders and it wouldn't let her.
 
Is there any chance that those 5 planes heading to the states will make it in time for a shipment for tomorrow?

Sure. They land around midnight...get shuffled to another hub within an hour or two and are on a truck by late morning. Lots can happen. If there is one thing about America's amazing packaging distribution system...it is the best in the world. UPS and FedEx know how to get stuff to their destination. I fully expect many people on this site have phones on those planes that will arrive by tomorrow evening.

Yea, spoke with a rep, and despite the 866 number saying it was shipped, she said mine was still in "process", and not yet shipped.. I'm in the 10/2-13 group, 6+ 64GB SG, and noticed the cancel button reappeared this evening... This is aggravating. Ordered about 20min after launch..
 
What time do you think people will start receiving their phones?

I'm picking mine up at 8:30.
UPS has a pre-recorded message saying deliveries can go up to 8pm.
My wife's IP6+ earlier in the week had a delivery date and time of 9/19 by 3pm. Now it's 8pm.... I just told her I'm picking mine up at 8:30 and she's jelly because I switched to pick up and didn't tell her.
 
I just got an email from att saying my preorder is preparing to ship, but it won't be here until 11/9-11/27. I preordered Friday September 12 at about 6pm. The date hasn't budged.. If I don't get it by October 17 I might have to get a Samsung Galaxy note 4

Well a semi-positive experience with AT&T today. Realized I would likely not be able to be at home for the delivery tomorrow and didn't want to have it left at the door due to obvious reasons. So today involved:

1) Attempting to register for UPS My Choice to reroute the delivery. UPS lists my address as a COMMERCIAL address and not residential. So 20 minutes on the phone with them yielded nothing except "Talk to AT&T."

2) First call to AT&T. Great girl- said she would call UPS to rearrange the delivery. Hold for 10 minutes and then call dropped.

3) Called back to AT&T. Horrible woman says I need to call Premiere, but after 30 minutes on hold with them I hung up.

4) Live chat with AT&T agent was fruitless. "We can't help you."

5) Finally, talked to another agent on the phone who could not have been cooler without that douchey, stick-up-my-ass cliche customer service attitude. He couldn't believe the differing responses I got and got his supervisor over immediately to help.

Turns out, even without My Choice you CAN (despite what AT&T and UPS says) have your iPhone shipment held at the warehouse for pick-up. However, it seems to be exclusive to these iPhone orders and it needs to come directly from AT&T to UPS. The dude didn't even know it was possible until he arranged this for me.

So, for anyone else having similar issues just give them a call and cite this semi-decent experience. :rolleyes:
 
iPhone 6+ 128gb SG shipped!

I ordered immediately after 3AM EDT, credit card charged at 3:05, confirmation at 3:06AM. My iPhone has changed to shipped in the past 20 minutes.

128gb, iphone 6+, space grey!

I was pulling an all nighter anyway because this is the busy season for me and I work 100 hours a week in August and September, so I also ordered a regular 6 for my sister, who didn't want to stay up. It shipped yesterday.

This is extra good for me because I'm traveling non-stop through the end of the year and coordinating where to ship the device to was a real problem.

I talked to a AT&T rep at a store, and he said that he has been setting up shipments of phones to arrive Friday (9/19) and Monday. He said the ETA dates we got are just something they put up. My estimated date is Oct. 2nd - 13th and he said ill get mine tomorrow.

Really...how so????
 
I am still on the fence. Ordered my iPhone 6 (16gb) in store on 9/12 at 5pm CST. My shipping has always shown 9/23-10/2. I plan on going to my local ATT store very early in the morning since they confirmed today that they will indeed have a limited supply of phones. If mine does arrive tomorrow evening, I will simply send it back. Simple solution. Win-Win situation. :apple:
 
My order has been on ICE since I placed it at 5PM 9/12. Ordered 6+ 64GB SG. I don't expect mine anytime soon but I'm sure hoping all you guys get yalls that ordered before me! I don't mind waiting. This thread has kept me entertained.

Got the dreadful e-mail this morning.
Convinced I am being plotted against for not buying in-store products when I go look at different models of phones.
 
out of curiosity, how fast can you cancel an AT&T preorder in which you can buy a phone at apple store if you see a 6+ at the store?
think i might have better luck next week with 6+. The joys of being unemployed atm!

That is just how late the driver will be working. He may be done at 6 but it gives them time to get it all delivered. It's not coming that late unless you're the last house on the route. Lol
 
Got excited when I refreshed Fedex Manager and saw a package that shipped today. Turns out it's just my lootcrate. :(

Well looks like I'm waiting till hell freezes over for my 6+ 64g SG ordered at 11:46.

I received one iphone a few years back by UPS at 9:20 pm so 8pm wouldn't surprised.

Just a pissed off att customer :) that once again has been screwed. Not that att cares. :(
