AT&T Pre-order status

I just called ATT to place a new order for the iPhone 6 and they said they had all capacity and colors available. iPhone 6+ still on backorder until Thanksgiving though.

I ordered an iPhone 6 silver 64 GB--the agent told me 7-14 day shipping date range. They didn't charge me for shipping however because it's the slow standard type. It's on the NEXT plan

I have an iPhone 6 16 GB silver model due 9/23-Oct. 2 which I will refuse as I decided to get a higher capacity model. It's still awaiting shipment. I ordered that one midday on Sept. 13. It's also a NEXT plan model

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been out of town on vacation for the last 10 days and won't be home until Sunday.

Overslept my Thursday midnight alarm by 30 minutes, but was still able to log on to the AT&T website (via unreliable hotel wifi) as a new customer (switching back from Verizon) and order two iPhone 6's. Got a confirmation email within 30 minutes with a 9/19 delivery. Got a FedEx tracking # on Tuesday, and watched helplessly as it made it's way on to the truck for delivery today. Since I am still not home, my phones went back to the local FedEx distribution center. I called FedEx and had them continue to hold it there for pickup. So I should be able to walk in to FedEx Monday morning and get my iPhones - after I get home from vacation Sunday night.

I posted my story about the same issue, I went to my local ATT store and got the 6 instead of the 6+ I had on preorder, went around 2pm and waited 4 minutes until I was helped. Got the same color and specks (Silver 128GB), so happy because the 6+ is really big and awkward to hold. Even the ATT guys at the store said so. I canceled my 6+ preorder while dude helping me was tallying up my bill and setting up my phone, etc.
 
Tracking-finally

Got my tracking number finally for 64Gb iPhone 6 - Space grey. Initially it was 10/13-10/31 shipping.

Hang in there guys, will update again on Monday.
 
I ordered the Space Gray 128GB Plus at an AT&T store on 09/12 at around 10am Eastern. My ship estimate remains at 10/31-11/11.

The only reason I went to the store is that last time I ordered (4S on release day) Apple.com wasn't letting me keep the old $5.00 texting plan. Wasn't going to chance it this time.

However I can't believe that if Foxconn is truly making in the neighborhood of 140,000 6 Plus models daily (http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2014/09/17/foxconn-struggles-to-meet-new-iphone-demand/) that these dates are accurate for day-one orders. I will continue to not believe it until 11/10/2014.
 
I'm so glad I canceled my preorder :)

I just talked to a Premier Rep who claimed that the space gray IP6's (not plus) are on backorder. This is crap. I'm so done with these clowns.

Which capacity? The 64GB one I ordered on Saturday (36 hours after preorder started) just shipped today.
 
My parents were first in line at Apple Store in Vienna, VA. The got two gold 6+s - one at 128gb and one at 64 gb. They went fast. My 6+ space gray 128gb is still showing 10/2-10/13.
 
I went to the Apple Store (Mall of Georgia - Buford) this afternoon, about 2 PM. Still a pretty big line. The store was out of all iPhone 6 Plus EXCEPT the Sprint model. The crew of the store were very friendly, passing out water to the people in line, telling jokes and keeping people happy. They said they had enough iPhone 6's of every flavor that no one would leave empty handed if they wanted a 6 rather than a 6 Plus.

I wish i did the same , I called every ATT store in the area and all stock is gone.
Not sure what is the fastest way to order now !

YOU CAN LITERALLY WALK INTO ANY STORE AND STILL GET A REGULAR 6.

NO +, though. Looks like I made the right choice ordering a PHABLET :rolleyes:

Faith in humanity restored. I'm like everyone else on here it seems. iPhone 6+ space grey 64GB preordered and I still show a October 2-13 wait time

Space gray 128GB

Ordered 10am at Springboard Media in Phila
Was supposed to ship Wed or Thurs, but shipped today for Monday delivery. Wished UPS delivered on weekends. Going to have shipped to office.

Same thing that happened with me. I ordered at 1:47am ct and received my confirmation right away. Nothing has changed since.
