They still had the iPhone 6 at the AT&T store across the street from the mall too. No 6+ though.
This sounds like a repetitive story, ordered 5 minutes prior to launch ( luck! I thought), I was asleep within the hour reading about the frustrations of others placing their orders.
Was awoken by a text at about 3a.m (actually 2 texts...). Then premier sent me an email September 12th at about 11am. Email stated my order would process 14-21 days. Was bumped once from the 22nd-30th to the 2nd-11th. Crossed my fingers it would be here today. Sigh.
Premier now shows no record of my order.
Called and confirmed my order just now with AT&T and he said 2 things. 1) Sept 2-11th and 2) Up to 21 Business days. I guess that means if they can't get it here by the 11th, they've covered their butt.

No luck for me, looks like I might get my AT&T 6+ 128g space gray between October 2nd through the 13th. Just for shiggles I drove by one of the BestBuys in Toledo this morning on my way to work. It was at 6:15 and there was not a soul in the parking lot. I stopped by later during my lunch. They told me that they did not receive any 6+ phones today. Whoa..
Yay! I finally have a tracking number! My 64g sg 6 will be delivered Monday. I originally had 10/13-10/31 that never budged!
Next time pre-order online and don't listen to coworkers who tell you to go to the store. I'm just annoyed that people are walking into stores to get them with no preorders, while the rest of us have November ship dates.

For not properly managing inventory they didn't get from Apple? Short of Jesus is performing an iPhone to iPhone plus miracle for AT&T, I wouldn't fire anyone. This happens every rollout if there is a shortage of inventory. The AT&T pre-orders take the shaft from Apple.
The stores will continue to get shipments, even as we speak they are getting new stock. If your order is definitely backordered and not in the shipping warehouse (just call and ask if you can cancel and see what they say), and if it is definitely not coming anytime soon, well, then get in your car and find a store! LOL! Call a few and see what time they close tonight, if they have 6's in stock, and see what happens. Might be worth driving a bit out of your way if there's another store that has the 6's. I didn't cancel my preorder until I was in the store activating my new phone, just to be sure I had my new phone, so you won't lose anything if you try finding it in a store first.
I received my iPhone 6 gold 64gb today. I hope everyone else gets theirs soon too! I think I'm going to run by att later and see what cases they have.
the order status on the att.com page now says Shipped (it updated from Pending Shipment some time this afternoon). The order status on the Premier Order Status page now says "Preorder Processing", so the people on here that said att.com is more up to date are accurate.
Plenty of 6 available, no Pluses
Its very clear at this point If you want a 6 cancel and go to your local store Att or Apple store plenty in stock.I called local Att store and went to my local Apple store employee told me plenty to go around,but 6 plus is in very limited supply and your ship dates are accurate. Also clear that folks were buying extras to take advantage of resale. Lots of out of state plates. I have a 10/2 -10/13 ship date...

Has anyone who has NOT received their 6+ gone to a local ATT or Apple store to try it out in person? I was VERYsurprised at how big it is, and I've been using a Note 3 which is actually SMALLER. It is really weird to balance it in one hand because it is so long on the top. As soon as I held it, it wobbled and I couldn't swipe to unlock with one hand... 3 seconds later, I was like, "Eh, no."
BTW, the 6 has CRAZY BATTERY LIFE, and the screen is super sharp, and pics are coming out AWESOME.. I was one of the few people who could NEVER take a non-blurry pic with the iPhone (no problems on the Note 3 and other phones), so I was pleasantly surprised how good my pics came out, especially since the camera is being downplayed compared to the 6.

I too tried out the 6+ and was surprised at how big it was - almost making me want a 6! But I'm sure it just takes some getting used too. After being used to a 4inch phone for a couple years it's bound to feel different when a screen is 1.5 inches bigger.
really curious if AT&T stores will get any + in stock next week. might as well call ever morning or so lol.
AT&T never promised anyone a date, every date you got in any email was estimated and 90% of the time completely wrong. There was a surge in order processing, and dates are/were being updated as the system catches up and inventory comes in.
Nobody is going to get fired for this, and anyone who complains will just be told they will get their phone when it is available or they are free to cancel and try somewhere else.
I've been using 5.5 inch screens for 2 years, and the 6+ is TOO BIG for me. It's top heavy, and it's so thin it's like there's nothing to hold on to. I was really surprised bevause I LOVE BIG PHONES, but now I'm glad ATT screwed up my preorder and consumed a week of my life, LOL!
That happened to me last night. It just came back in the morning, same as before.

This is not a new phenomena. AT&T pre-orders are always at the back of the line. If I ran AT&T I'd be moving as many customers as I could from Iphones to Samsung over time rather than firing anybody.

I ordered about 20 minutes after midnight from AT&T the night of the preorder, however apparently my credit card did not process correctly. I couldn't get through to support until Saturday morning to finally get my credit card info corrected and figured out. So I'm guessing I didn't get a "place in line" or a reserved phone until my order was corrected and processed on Saturday morning (even though my credit card was charged right away, which makes no sense, but whatever).
My iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver has shown a ship date of 11/9 - 11/27 since the first time I saw it, hasn't changed once. I guess I am stuck waiting until November to receive my phone? Any one else in the same boat?

Mine was stuck at that date for a few days then changed to 10/31-11/11, and I ordered a 64GB SG 6+ at about 9:30am EST.
The two AT&T kiosks in the mall still had iPhone 6 but no 6 Plus. They got a total of 12 iPhone 6 Pluses this morning. They were gone within minutes.
Glad I didn't make the trek down there. Mall of GA is the closest Apple Store for me. Maybe try some of the AT&T stores this weekend, see if any got some stock in.
