AT&T Pre-order status

Thanks to whoever it was who gave the UPS MyChoice tip. I just found out my iPhone 6, Space Grey, 128GB will ship from Memphis and is due for 9/19 delivery.

Could you tell me what your original shipping estimate was, and what time you ordered? I ordered the same model.

I ordered at 3:50am EDT. I got an order status email at 5:56am which stated it would ship 9/17-9/18 for 9/19 delivery (but no tracking info).

So I was never really that worried, but nevertheless it was nice to see the info in UPS itself since I believe there were some folks who had their original 9/19 delivery times slip.

All you have to do is sign up for the free ups my choice service, then itll ask you to put down some names like your name and your wife name additonal then your shipping address then itll search to see if you got any shipments that week.

then ups even email you (if u put down a email address) to let you know theres a shipment coming if you havent gotten any shipping confirmation.

I dont have any shipment coming the 19th yet, hopefully itll show up by monday evening.

AT&T flat out lied to me. Ordered a regular iPhone 6 at 12:46am PT 9/12. Received in the confirmation email:

Your order was placed: 02:46 AM CDT September 12, 2014

Today it says on the site I ordered on 9/13 and they expected ship date is 10/13-10/31. I want to vomit.

I'm in the same boat as many other folks who've posted up here.

I first TRIED to order my upgrade through the Apple Store app. I got all the way to the end when it then told me I couldn't pre-order online. The message was:

Customers who use their iPhone primarily in New York cannot use the AT&T Next purchase option online.

I'm presuming this isn't Apple's fault BUT they should have published this or told me up front, rather than at the very end of the process.

Some folks said the AT&T portal was open early... That was not my experience. I saw a countdown timer until 3:01am Eastern. Then there was a landing page that said "The doors are opening..." and that when it was my turn the page would automatically refresh and I could then pre-order.

I pre-ordered a 128GB Space Gray 6 Plus (for myself) and the initial confirmation page said I should receive it on 9/19. This was at approximately 3:18am EDT Friday morning.

Then I went back in and pre-ordered a 64GB Space Gray 6 for another line on my plan. Again, the initial confirmation page said I should receive it on 9/19. This was at approximately 3:30am EDT Friday morning.

The email confirmations I received overnight said:

1) "Your Apple iPhone 6 Plus (128GB Space Gray) has been reserved and will ship within 21 - 28 business days."
2) "Your Apple iPhone 6 (64GB Space Gray) has been reserved and is expected to arrive on or around 9/19/2014."

Right now, my credit card shows two Pending transactions (authorizations) for $1.00 and two pending charges (authorizations) for the Sales Tax on the two phones. The online status page lists both iPhones as "Status - Preorder Processing" with "Expected Ship Date: 10/31/2014 To 11/11/2014" for the 6 Plus and "Expected Ship Date: 09/23/2014 To 10/02/2014" for the 6.

Both lines received text messages Friday morning saying the order had been processed. I checked UPS MyChoice and as of now, it doesn't show any deliveries expected for 9/19 or the next two weeks after that.

I am REALLY hoping that AT&T's online status page is giving inflated delivery dates and that the phones will arrive "early". And apparently, I can't buy the iPhones at an Apple Store until some time AFTER the AT&T orders are canceled. (The cancelation process is not actually an online procedure. A clerk has to manually cancel the order and it takes some hours until the line shows as eligible for the AT&T Next Upgrade again.)

So it looks like I'm at AT&T's mercy; and we all know they don't have any of that.

When i ordered my iPhone 6 plus it said shipping was 14-21 days and now when i check the status on att it says shipping is 10/31-11/11 anyone else having this problem. i got my order placed in 27 mins of opening

Got an updated AT&T order status for my iPhone 6 plus/128GB that originally had a 14-22 day shipping estimate but now is projected to ship some time between 11/09 - 11/27. My original confirmation email is timestamped 9/12/14 @ 4:06 am EST.

I was hoping for an earlier delivery since I've been without a mobile phone since my iPhone 5 was stolen a week ago. Now looks like I'll have to go with an "el cheapo" replacement for the time being.

Similar but slightly better situation. Placed my order at 12:28am PST 9/12 and received a confirmation email at 1:48am PST :

"Your Apple iPhone 6 (64GB Space Gray) has been reserved and is expected to arrive on or around 9/19/2014"

But the order status says "Preparing to Ship" with a shipping date of "9/23/14 - 10/02/14". I'm hoping this is just a display error and that it will actually arrive Friday but who knows. Will call them Monday and see whats up.

I have UPS my choice and theres nothing there yet.

Guess I will wait with everyone else to see how screwed I am....

Had my preorder done with AT&T before the preorders were even supposed to go live and my order status now gives me an expected ship date between November 9th and November 27th.

Any of you guys who ordered after me and complaining about your early October ship dates want to trade?

I went into my local AT&T wireless store on the 12th and got them to order it for me. The lady that waited on me told me I would get one quicker if I ordered the 6 (64) Gold which I did. On their site it says estimated shipping dates 09/23-10/02. I think you will get yours before mine (unless you ordered the 6+ then you might have a little longer wait). You never know with AT&T though..I might not get mine until November.

I ended up (today) Sunday Sept 14th at 8am eastern time placing another order at apple.com website for ATT iPhone 6 Plus gold 64GB with October 14-21 ship date. I can live with a 3-4 week delay.

My first order placed at 310-320am eastern time Sept 12th at att.com premiere site for same 64gb gold pus model showed 14-21 day delay via email. I got email confirmation around 430am.

Than I checked order status yesterday. Like most people it's showing October 31-November 11th.

Only problem is I will be on a cruise October 30th-November 6th. Knowing my luck, the iPhone would arrive October 31st with me out of the country.

My wife iPhone 6 plus 64GB silver ordered from iPad Apple store app at 345am will arrive Sept 19th.

Honestly because apple store website wasn't working at 3am eastern time Friday, I went to att.com as second choice. It was only after my friend texted me to use iPad apple store app did I realize Apple's store was working.

And I couldn't cancel my att.com order yet since it wasn't in their system.

So know I have 3 pending orders
Order 1: ATT ordered at 310am Sept 12th with October 31-November 11th shipping date
Order 2: Apple iPad app order at 345am with delivery Sept 19th
Order 3: Apple webstore ordered at 8am Sept 14th with October 14-21 shipping date

for some reason I feel like if your status says: "preparing to ship", you're in the clear. "pending" not so much.

I got this Friday night after purchasing on ATT's site, but yesterday morning received an email apologizing for the demand, and now my delivery date (space grey 128GB 6+) is scheduled for the 27th of November. I purchased a phone for my mom (6+, 128 gold) through the apple store app about half an hour after my purchase, and although I haven't received any emails from apple, her phone shows as delivery date Oct 1-6.

What's weird is if I click on the email link (with web order number) and it takes me to the ATT Direct website where you plug in your zip code. It gives me ability to cancel order. But shows October 31-November 11th shipping date.

Now if I go directly to att.com and log in. Than go to "my orders". Under order details, it says "preparing to ship"

But shipping date is still October 31-November 11th

Set my alarm for 3 am EST....got through on AT&T's website and order was placed by 3:07 EST. Confirmation email arrived in my inbox at 5:50 EST saying order would ship in 21-28 business days. Order status on AT&T's page says shipping expected between 10/31 - 11/11...........say what?!?!?!?!?! Ordered 6+ 128gb gold. Will be paying AT&T Next for possibly two months before I even have the phone in hand. Seems a bit jacked up if you ask me.

Ya i ordered at 3:01 EST and got 2 text and says preparing to ship then i called the automated att number and it says backordered my delivery date is 10-31 to -11-11 iphone 6+ sg and my payment has came out unless they put it back maybe cancel and wait on note 4 lol
