I read on an earlier post that people that ordered before 12:01 on Friday 19 Att had to manually add them to the preorders. Because the system for preorders was not live till 12:01 which I'm starting to think it could be the case why so many that order early are getting this redicilos dates including my self 10/2-10/13 6+ 16 SG

Not sure I agree with this.

Ordered wife's 6+ 128 SG at 2:55am ET 9/12; received order confirmation email within a minute of order.

Ordered mine, same specs, 2:59am ET; same confirmation email.

Question is, do those immediate emails confirm an order took place? I would think so, else what would they represent?

Further, wife's first shipping date confirmation email (and pending CC auth) came within 15 minutes of her order. Both of mine (email/CC pending auth) came at 6:00am same day.
 
I think anybody that ordered a 6+ 64gb grey is screwed. I don't think anyone who ordered that exact model has received theirs yet. Boo on AT&T's first come first serve basis. Terrible, just terrible.

Knock on wood, but mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Not sure what happened but AT&T did drop the ball on the pre orders. This will probably be the last time I pre order. Hopefully AT&T will learn from this debacle.

The chat woman is now trying to get me to cancel my preorder and said in the morning just go to Apple or AT&T and pick it up the same day. She pretty much was like yeah it's on sale now so just go get it in the store....

They clearly, or she clearly, has no flipping idea what is going on or how there aren't just tons and tons of phones to go around.

The thing about that is that there has to be a guarantee that you will indeed get the phone. Else, she's forcing a cancel off you without liability.

Kind of like how my mom guaranteed me that I will get cake for my 10th birthday if I stopped playing games for the whole day. Got candy instead.

Oh trust me.. I called her out on that immediately. No way in hell you are canceling my preorder unless I get email confirmation that there is a phone reserved for me in store.
 
The 866 number works for me. It just says the same thing the order status page does online. Except it says I cannot cancel or change my order.

There should not be any phones in retail locations until pre orders are fulfilled.

Debatable... if someone doesn't want to preorder but wants to sit in line for 24+ hours.. I think they deserve a phone. Now.. taking all stock and giving to one or the other.. is a different story. I think there needs to be a nice balance of the two.
 
14-21 Day wait Message after 4:00am Pre-Order

I had ordered the 16GB, Space-Grey 6-Plus at 3:55am from Boston. It took about 3-4 hours to receive an email confirmation from At@T. The original ship time I got was between 10/31 and 11/11. I WAS PISSED. 3 days later, it changed to between 10/2 and 10/13. MUCH BETTER. I'm still waiting for a tacking number and C.C. wasn't charged yet.
 
ordered a 6+ gold 64gb on the 12th about 2:58am eastern time. Was in the 10-2 date range. Got shipping conformation today for Tuesday delivery
 
I have been reading all the post so I will also chime in. I ordered on the phone at 7 am 9/12. I received an email, at 7:14 am , to accept the terms of the Next plan. I did that and received another email , at 8:25 am, that my order has been accepted and I should expect my 6+ SG 64GB to ship between 10/31-11/11. On 9/17 I received an email stating the same thing as the previous email. I am an att premiere member. My dates have not changed. When I call att the automated line it says my item is on back order. I can't take this. Just have to ride this out I guess

I ordered that exact model and I received my shipping number yesterday and it'll be here tomorrow.

mine went through premier and I didn't get a shipping notification yet, and I ordered before 3am.

Premier, ordered at 2:10 AM CST
Did not even get a email til 9 AM on 12, dates at 10AM, over time shifted to 10/2-10/13 dates and stuck ever since so us premier folks are not getting any better, I think AT&T is just screwed up.

Problem is.. they have no idea how many they will receive on day one... or even today for that matter.

Br------: Jrnation, I'm just providing you the information here on my end. And I can assure you 100% that all new iphones are now available in the Apple store. Some customers cancelled the order and purchase it in the store today.

I then asked her why I was turned away when I went there today and was told they didn't have my phone..
 
Just read that someone ordered on 9/15 and getting any day now. I ordered on 9/12 (although at 2 pm), but I've got 11/9-11/27 delivery dates. This is really frustrating. Trying not to think about it.

I'm that someone. I'm getting a normal 6 so that's probably why it's coming so soon. I bet if I'd ordered a 6+ on the 15th, I'd be waiting until October.
 
What happens if you click the cancel preorder button the premier site. Does it come up and ask you to confirm or is it 1 click cancel? Can I cancel outside of business hours of Premier too like if I find one in the store online for personal pickup?

I just got my tracking info today and my cc hasn't been charged yet. I'm wondering if they are gonna charge it on Monday and what happens when it declines. I'm assuming they would just add it to my bill. I got a new card the weekend after I ordered it and they wouldn't let me update my payment method so whatever.
 
Literally, was just told by this AT&T rep that every version/size/color is available in every AT&T store for pickup right now. At this point.. I ended the conversation. How can they possibly say these kind of things, surely they don't believe that every store has a full stock of every iPhone.
